Many students have been unable to find summer work and had no choice but to accept the Pandemic Unemployment Payment. Unfortunately that payment is coming against them in relation to their SUSI grant because last year's PUP income is being added to the family income. This is putting many over the threshold under in order to get the SUSI grant.
