Jakk quill is one of the rising Kenyan acts in the hip hop scene who firmly believes in the release of bodies of work. This has served well in creating a fanbase for the rapper. With three projects - Lately, The Stash, and the most recent one New Decade Same Dreams, he has been able to prove that his presence is here for HipHop. I had a chance to catch up with him over Zoom and we had a conversation on what goes into the whole music creation process, how he feels about the recently released music, and also his growth from one album to the next.
