You don't have to be a veteran believer to get involved in this. If you are someone who is a new believer this is a great way to start your relationship off with Christ, fasting from things that are taking priority over your life instead of spending time with him and in the word.. Asking for clarity and guidance, wisdom and discernment where needed. "The Road to Revival is Built on the Bible" Most of us would nod our heads in agreement when we hear someone talk about the importance of foundations. Whether it is the foundation of a house, or a skyscraper the integrity of the foundation is key. "No one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ." (1 Corinthians, Chapter 3, Verse 11) The Bible is the foundation to the road to revival . . . and specifically, built on obedience to God's Word. Here are three progressive goals that you can apply when you study the Bible: 1) Information - The Word of God will stimulate your mind and give you a greater appetite to know more about Him. 2) Inspiration - an emotional response to the Word of God. Studying the Bible will trigger an emotional response to God and His Word. 3) Transformation - studying the Bible and applying its truths to our lives will result in transformation in how we live. Scripture Reference: Nehemiah, Chapter 8, Verses 1 - 17.

Years ago, Nehemiah left this world. Before he did, he left a mark on his community and a legacy for us. The legacy? Be willing to finish what you start. How many of us have unfinished rooms in our lives? Our intentions were good. We even had a plan to make it happen. Somewhere along the way, we got sidetracked. Let Nehemiah's legacy encourage you to get back to work and see it through...to the end.
