Sunday, February 22, 2026 – Pastor Justin is bringing a message titled “Stop Riding the Fence.” This is a very practical and challenging message for every believer today. Every person is susceptible to wandering and drifting if they aren’t mindful of how easily one can drop their spiritual guard and drift from what it means to live a holy life. From a practical perspective, nature will cause physical fences to weaken and even break down in places, allowing the animals protected by that fence to wander off and get into all kinds of dangerous situations. Likewise, the spiritual fences that guard our hearts can also weaken and break down in places we may not expect, and we, like a horse or a cow, can find ourselves in dangerous places because we didn’t mend the fences on a regular basis. Today’s message gives us good warnings and encourages us to stop riding the fence with one foot in the world and one foot in the church, and instead to mend the fence and plant both feet firmly in the church, seeking a holy and righteous life with Christ. If we understood that the fences God places around us are meant to protect us from a world bent on destroying us, we would live much better, more fulfilled lives. Worship and study with us.

Revelation may seem like an odd choice to include in a series on listening, but the oracle is founded on a witness from John to Christians who needed to listen better. Beginning with the indictments to the seven churches, the book is filled with words of comfort and courage to people under distress. When we learn to “silence all voices but God's voice,” (Henri Nouwen) we can learn to hear God's will for us to move forward with conviction.   Reflection Questions:1. Where in your life right now do you most need discernment — and what makes that situation hard to navigate?2. When you're making decisions, what practices actually help you listen for God, and what has that looked like in real life?3. Jesus warned about being “lukewarm.” Where do you notice spiritual complacency in yourself or our culture — and what might wholehearted faith (zeal and repentance) look like instead?

Fasting is a response to that grace. It’s a way of quieting the noise of the world so we can hear God’s still, small voice more clearly. It’s choosing spiritual hunger over temporary comfort. Sunday, February 1, 2026 – Pastor Justin brings a message titled “Taking Rocks to a Knife Fight.” In it, he encourages us to embrace the power we have when we face spiritual battles in our lives. Too many Christians allow the enemy to dictate the nature of the fight rather than recognizing that the battle has already been won by Christ’s death and resurrection. In addition to the salvation delivered by Jesus’ sacrifice, we have the promise of the enduring power of the Holy Spirit, poured out on Pentecost. We’re going to face battle after battle, but we have the promise of victory as we stand on the promises of God’s Word. Just as David defeated Goliath, the enemy of Israel, with a Holy Spirit-empowered sling and stone, we have the same Holy Spirit power available to be overcomers against the enemy of our soul. Sunday, January 11, 2026 – Pastor Justin titles his message, “Even Though... God is Faithful.” You fill in the blank for yourself. Even though what? God is always faithful to Himself and to all who call Him Father. Even in the most difficult times in life, God remains faithful. Pastor Justin talks about the Good Shepherd in Psalm 23, who always cares for His sheep. Sheep aren’t known for being smart or for caring for themselves. They are stubborn and wander away if not carefully guarded. Yet the Shepherd loves and cares for those who know His voice and are part of His flock. No matter what your situation is today, if you call out to the Good Shepherd, Jesus, He will gather you to Himself and meet your needs according to His great and perfect will.
