Biblical Courage
Acts 5:17-42
Harvest Bible Fellowship's weekly Message.
Opposing God is futile and opposing man CAN be fatal, but obeying God is fulfilling (no matter the cost).

Acts 5:17-42 For Further Study Why were the religious leaders (Sadducees) so opposed to the apostles and disciples? How does the modern church experience opposition today? Do you think Gamaliel’s perspective is accurate (if it isn’t from God it will fail, if it is from God we can’t stop it)? Why or why not? What stands out about the disciple’s response to the leaders in this narrative? How is it possible to have joy even in hard times and suffering?

Do you need more patience and faith to wait on the Lord’s plans, or do you need to be more bold in trying different ways?
So many of us keep watching and waiting for the world to change...to become a better place. Unfortunately, we often see just the opposite...the world that we see keeps getting worse. But here’s the deal, the God that we worship calls us to change the world...He calls us to make the world a better place...to help heaven & earth collide.
