Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! Season 8, where 5th Edition D&D meets SCP! Space Vikings! Wait, no, just the accents. We really only have one Swedish accent. Somewhere between someone from Minnesota, and the Swedish Chef. This story begins in Switzerland in one of the major clock making towns. There appears to be a closed off area of town that no one is allowed to go in. That sort of secrecy attracts the SCP Foundation! A group of undercover agents tries to infiltrate this area to determine what exactly they're hiding. How will this group get into the guarded area? What if anything is being hidden in there? Is it a creature? A place? An item? What will Site 69 do with it once they figure it out? Wait, the SCP Foundation has an Ethics Committee? Tune in and find out! Dennis has a Kickstarter coming up for his next graphic novel! It launches in March, but you can sign up at www.lycanbook.com! We now have a PO Box! Wanna send us something? Space Viking by H. Beam Piper audiobook. A galactic war has left the Terran Federation in ruins. Formerly civilized planets have decivilized into barbarism. Space Vikings roam the wreckage, plundering and killing for gain. Lord Lucas Trask of Traskon was no admirer of the Space Vikings, but when murder takes his wife on his wedding day, Trask trades everything he has for his own Space Viking ship and sets out on a galaxy-wide quest for revenge.

Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! Full disclosure. We had a major technical glitch which rendered the last month of our season completely unusable. We apologize for that inconvenience as we have to rerecord the entire last month, plus some other content. We did not want to miss a week of releasing content to you listeners so we decided to release our 2019 live performance from Dragoncon 2019. The SPACE VIKINGS are back! The crew gets a distress call and decides to investigate. An arrest and a strange discovery later, the group must then perform an escort mission. How will they screw it up? Tune in and find out! Join in on the banter as these dickheads whose understanding of the rules is questionable, and their moral compasses are even more so, stumble through dungeons, traps, monsters, and social intricacies as they attempt to complete a quest for wholly selfish reasons. If you are a veteran dragon slayer from the long long ago of the 1970’s or a newbie who is interested in hearing what this devil worshipping game is all about, Botched: A D&D Podcast is the DnD Podcast for you. As mentioned, we are playing 5th edition rules, so if you’ve never played this version of the game before, listening to us will give you an idea of how it may be different from previous versions of the game. 5th edition is a great rule set to start playing the game with. Find out if there’s a local game near where you live at comic book or game stores. Hell, buy some books, buy some dice, get some food and drinks and invite your friends over to play with you for completely different experience! A special shout out and thank you to all of our supporters over on Patreon. You help us continue to churn out “quality” episodes. With your continued support we can upgrade our dining room, I mean studio, with better quality microphones, sound proofing and merchandise. Help us achieve our goals and reap the benefits as we will begin producing novellas of the seasons, behind the scenes features and live shows! Check out our store over at Botched Podcast where you can find tshirts, stickers, prints and more! Check out each of the hosts’ Twitch streams! Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! A bonus episode! Since we will be doing Space Vikings for our live show at DragonCon 2019, we thought it only fitting to share the related Patreon episodes with you! Now that you’ve been introduced to our weird characters, they still have to get off this planet. They’re currently dealing with some weird goblin like creatures while also following around a big lizard for a funeral. Yrtle may get run over by a buggy, classic turtle. Landing on strange planets, ruining the inhabitant’s customs are just normal daily fare for these folks. If you can make it, come check out our live show at the Hilton in Atlanta, GA! Since we will be doing Space Vikings for our live show at DragonCon 2019, we thought it only fitting to share the related Patreon episodes with you! The series picks up in no particular place with a rag tag group of Space Vikings doing whatever it is that Space Vikings do!
