The state of Florida continues its record setting year of 14 executions and counting, with number 15 scheduled for Tuesday, October 28th. In an unusual move, 65-year-old Norman Grim has chosen not to fight tomorrow’s scheduled lethal injection for the 1998 rape and murder of his next door neighbor. Meantime, in Tennessee, a lawsuit challenging the state’s lethal injection method, claims the August 5th execution of Byron Black was botched, his autopsy showing sustained cardiac activity 2 minutes after he was pronounced dead, with his final words “It’s hurting so bad."See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

This week on the Toy Power Podcast; we are still sending 'Get Well' Cards to Trent, as he unfortunately misses this ep. But that won't slow us down; as Scot has a fantastic rundown on the Greatest Star Wars Movie - that never was! Yes - the infamous 'Shadows Of The Empire!' Famously worked into 'cannon' between the Original Films of: Empire Strikes Back & Return Of The Jedi. This wasn't just a Story or a Comicbook series - this was a Multimedia Project that also spanned into a Soundtrack, Video Games and of course a self-titled line of Toys! Was, or is this, the biggest Movie that never was?! Then keeping in the same similar theme of Movies; we transform into another round of The Team! With this round focusing on the Autobots that where released in 1986 (The Movie Year). This was a lot of fun! But we would love to hear some future ideas for The Team Comp - as we are starting to run out of ideas! Thanks, and as always - Enjoy!Support the show: http://patreon.com/toypowerpodcastSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
After a long summer recess, parliament resumes. Andrew Farrell is rejoined by Luke Evans and Mike Brandon to give their thoughts on some of the pressing issues in Korean football in general, and K League 2 in particular. As the 2025 K League 2 season draws to a close, we discuss what impact further expansion will have on the division, and the entire pyramid structure. With nothing guaranteed (or released to the public), we address the latest rumours on what the landscape will look like in the coming years. Andrew, Luke, and Mike also return to their final 10 games of the season preview article, bemoan another international break, and shed a tear for the conclusion of the season. [READ: Will K League 2 go down to the final day? We predict the final 10 rounds] The main part of the podcast, however, is about the changes we'd make to the football structure if we had the power to decide these things. In our premiere episode, Lovett goes under the knife with Dr. Terry Dubrow, an icon of reality TV who has lived his life as a surgeon, husband, and father in front of the cameras on shows like Botched, The Swan and of course the Real Housewives of Orange County. You can see why Terry is considered one of the best dads and spouses in the Bravo Universe. And in this surprisingly open conversation, he also goes off on what he dreads most about filming Real Housewives, the ways housewives manufacture controversy to cling to fame, the risks of being a parent on television, and why he keeps coming back for more. Oh, and Lovett also asks him, “What kind of plastic surgery should I get?” because of course he did.In this special limited series, Lovett sits down with reality icons who helped lead a hostile takeover not just of television, but of our culture. In intimate and revealing conversations, Lovett and his guests explore the ways these shows blur the line between authenticity and performance, the compromises of putting your life on television, the reality-TV-ification of our politics, and the secrets that don't make it on screen. What have reality stars learned about themselves, about television, and about America? And what happens to a society when the only thing worse than being hated is being boring? These are the questions we are trying to answer - either here, or at the reunion. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Ellen Greenberg Case: The Most Botched Crime Scene Cover-Up You've Never Heard Of What if the crime scene was already erased… before police ever began investigating? In this segment of Hidden Killers Live, we dig deep into the moments that should have triggered a full-blown homicide investigation in the death of Ellen Greenberg — but instead, signaled something very different: silence, shortcuts, and possibly, cover-up. We examine Sam Goldberg's behavior, as witnessed by a building staffer who saw him pacing the hallway, visibly agitated, shouting that he was going to "knock the f---ing door down." And then, we look at what happened after Ellen was pronounced dead — when the police labeled it suicide on scene, and the apartment was released, not preserved. By the very next day, professional crime scene cleaners were scrubbing the apartment. Items were moved. Dishes were run through the dishwasher. And then, a man who wasn't even related to Ellen — her fiancé's uncle — was allowed inside to remove her electronic devices, including laptops and phones, before any forensic work was done. That uncle? A politically connected Philadelphia attorney. From there, it only gets more troubling: • Devices were returned days later, with no clear chain of custody. • The original homicide ruling by the medical examiner was reversed — without new forensic evidence. • Police later cited mental health issues, based on statements from the same person who discovered her. And years later? That same person reportedly never questioned the suicide ruling and told others, “That's just what it was.” This isn't just bad policing. This is what it looks like when a homicide becomes a narrative control exercise. And the closer you look, the worse it gets. Was this a cover-up? Or was it a case of every system doing the wrong thing at the worst possible time? Let's break it down. Sam Goldberg, Ellen Greenberg's fiancé at the time of her death, has never been charged with any crime in connection to this case. He has consistently maintained that Ellen's death was a suicide. All individuals mentioned in this segment are presumed innocent unless proven otherwise.

In this episode, Dr. Anthony Youn sits down with dermatologist Dr. Emily Levin to break down everything you need to know about exfoliating your skin the right way. They share why exfoliation is so important for healthy, glowing skin, how to avoid the pitfalls of overdoing it, and why “one size fits all” doesn't work—your skin type should guide how often you exfoliate. You'll hear the pros and cons of mechanical vs. chemical exfoliation, plus why sunscreen is non-negotiable after sloughing off those dead cells. The doctors also touch on the hidden environmental impact of some exfoliating products and explore professional options like dermaplaning. Hour 1 with Bob Pompeani and Joe Starkey: The season isn't over, but the honeymoon phase is over for the Steelers. The Steelers can't run the ball, can't block for Aaron Rodgers, and the defense has been a problem. Kaleb Johnson let a kickoff go right past him and didn't attempt to recover the football in the end zone. Seattle recovered and scored a touchdown. Is the mistake worse than Will Craig?

Plus, Vienna's state-led social housing model as a global leader in providing affordable, high-quality housing.
Episode 77 In this episode of Crime to Burn, we revisit the devastating fire at Greybeard's Tavern in Jacksonville, Florida, and the deeply flawed arson case that followed. Randal Wagoner, a local truck driver, was arrested and charged with both arson and murder after the fire claimed the life of Katherine Johnson. What first looked like an open-and-shut case unraveled. Investigators leaned on experts who couldn't back up their findings with scientific proof, relied on questionable witnesses, and overlooked other possible suspects. Was Katherine Johnson's death really a murder — or a tragic accident miscast as a crime? We're bringing you all the shocking details of a case that collapsed under scrutiny, but not before Wagoner spent three years behind bars awaiting trial. The Greenlease Kidnapping TragedyJump To Ad-Free Safe House EditionEpisode 362 takes on one of the most evil crimes imaginable as told from the point of view of the perpetrator. By the time police caught up with Carl Austin Hall, he had made so many mistakes in the kidnapping and murder of a six-year-old boy that he knew the game was up, so he told the story in a coldly matter-of-fact 36-page confession, here adapted for the first two acts. The third act, we'll call “the comeuppance”.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/true-crime-historian--2909311/support.
