Performer Ben Crutcher wants to know: What do YOU do when you encounter a spider in your house? Alas, though a long-time friend of all bugs, Ben has yet to infiltrate LA's shadowy, influential bug-watching community. Ben's past projects include feature films Spaghettiman and Cop Chronicles: Loose Cannons -- The Legend of the Haj-Mirage, and the Curiosity Correspondent video series for the Los Angeles Times. Spaghettiman is episode 81 of Superhero Century, where we are watching every superhero movie in chronological order.
Clark doesn't care about you. He doesn't care about the world. He barely cares about himself. But after an incident with an old bowl of spaghetti and a malfunctioning microwave, he becomes a superhero that can fight crime with the power of spaghetti. However, you have to pay him. With a fun, but overly long, pastiche of Spider-man minus the swinging we find ourselves conflicted with the bad in this movie. A much tighter short movie would have done it great justice. We rented this movie Via Amazon Prime UK for 0.99 pence at time of releaseIf you like what you hear why not give our social media accounts a follow or even listen to more of us on Patreon where we flip the tables on the main episodes and review either the good or bad bits that weren't covered. Crime. A blight to our streets and the advancement of mankind and human civilization as we know it. Few stand in the way of those that would see us fall. Mainly Bradley Cooper's perm and Spaghettiman. Buckle up, baby! We're talking hair, science-ovens, cocktails, the perfect al dente pasta, and weather or not you could kill a man with a noodle. Greg is back for this episode, where we once again talk about a December 2020 comedy film that takes place in New York. This time, it's the new Tom & Jerry movie (which comes out next week in that other universe). What did we think of the mix of animation and live-action? How generic did parts of this movie feel? And how riveting were our tangents about the Super Mario Bros. film and Spaghettiman, among other things? For the tasting, cantaloupe, vacuum sealed cantaloupe, proscuitto wrapped cantaloupe are served alongside a cantaloupe bread with pecan pralines and a charentais granita with chantilly cream. __ SHOW INFORMATION Facebook Page: @tryitlikeitpod Instagram: @tryitlikeitpod Twitter: @tryitlikeitpod Email: tryitlikeitpod@gmail.com Subscribe: Apple Podcasts Subcribe: Spotify
