In addition to cocktails and Tex-Mex, he brought in Kirb Appeal to help celebrate! Kirbe and Lizzy joined Steve at the art opening — as well as special guests Nancy Shearer, founder of NS Marketing, and champion bareback rider Tilden Hooper, an 8-time qualifier for the National Finals Rodeo — to talk Western lifestyle, rodeo and what makes cowboy cool. Of course, Taylor Sheridan and Yellowstone come up in the conversation, as does Tilden's starring 12-second role on the show … and Steve's brush with death in the arena, his favorite athletes to photograph, and working the Steiner family. Tilden Hooper's titles and talents certainly weren't handed to him! Who would ever guess that this 2x American Rodeo Champion Bareback Rider and 8x NFR Qualifier has never owned a "saddle" horse, lives in town, wasn't a stellar athlete in high school athletics, was later than most getting started riding bareback horses and to this day uses two pieces of plywood and a few 2x4s? While he may not have had the same start as some of rodeo's super stars, he wasn't afraid to suck long enough to get better! With sheer determination, hard work, faith, grit and surrounding himself with the right people, he's made it to places most people dream about. During this Podcast, he shares his story and answers questions that will light your fire and help get your mind right!!
