The Converse Cowboy is a podcast dedicated to uncovering the mindset, psychology, and philosophy of high performers in the horse industry.
The Converse Cowboy Podcast is an extraordinary podcast that has managed to captivate my attention, despite its focus on a very specific and niche market. The content provided is truly awesome and filled with interesting questions that keep me engaged throughout each episode. The authenticity of everyone involved in the podcast, especially the host, makes it even more intriguing. Every conversation feels genuine and heartfelt, which adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the overall experience. I must say, the team behind this podcast deserves commendation for their great work.
One of the best aspects of The Converse Cowboy Podcast is how it has broadened my horizons and transformed my perspective on certain topics. I never thought I would become someone who wears a cowboy hat, but after listening to this podcast, I have embraced the cowboy lifestyle and find myself feeling like an everyday John Wayne. Not only does the podcast provide valuable information about rodeos that I previously knew nothing about, but it also delves into the personal lives of guests in a way that allows me to connect with them on a deeper level. Through the thoughtful questioning by Cowboy Mike Roberts, I have gained a greater interest in people and their stories.
While this podcast excels in various areas, there are some aspects that could be improved upon. Firstly, given its niche focus on rodeos and cowboy culture, it may not appeal to a wide audience who may not have any interest in these topics. However, for those who do find these subjects fascinating or are willing to explore new territories, this should not be seen as a drawback but rather a unique selling point. Secondly, while the authenticity of the conversations is commendable, at times it can feel too casual or informal which may turn off listeners seeking more structure or professionalism.
In conclusion, The Converse Cowboy Podcast has left a lasting impression on me with its captivating content and engaging questions. It has introduced me to a world I once knew nothing about and inspired me to take a greater interest in people and their stories. Cowboy Mike Roberts and his team have done an exceptional job in creating a podcast that not only educates but also entertains. I eagerly look forward to future episodes and can confidently recommend this podcast to anyone seeking an immersive and genuine listening experience.

Truly a pleasure to have singer songwriter, Kenny Feidler on the show. Kenny Feidler's sound is dark, gritty, western rock n roll filled with thoughtful, honest songwriting. Feidler's path to the stage started on the rodeo circuit, writing songs about the life and selling his music from the trunk of an old Cadillac. Now he racks up the miles with his band, traveling from his home on the plains of Western South Dakota, to fill up bars and dance halls across America's Heartland. In 2024 Feidler has already shared the stage with Colter Wall, Josh Meloy, and Reckless Kelly. With multiple singles due to release this year and over 150 million streams in his career, it's hard not to view this as a breakout moment for Feidler. However, Feidler is just grateful to make a living making music . Truly a pleasure to sit down with Montana singer songwriter, Riddy Arman. The chapters of her life so far make for a story much richer than a common western archetype. Unafraid to take new paths, Arman has traveled across the country — from the farmlands of the Midwest to the bustling streets of New York City — writing songs, working as a ranch hand, and practicing an Agrarian lifestyle. It was during her childhood, full of folk and country music, in rural Ohio that she was first drawn to the guitar. Her deep dive into songwriting didn't happen until her early 20s when she. moved to central Virginia to resume her interest in horsemanship and agriculture on a friend's small farm. Enjoy the show!! Best known as the frontman of North Carolina alt-country outfit American Aquarium, singer/songwriter B.J. Barham has spent much of his career delivering rugged, earthy roots rock in the vein of Whiskeytown and Drive-By Truckers. A native of Reidsville, North Carolina, Barham formed the group in 2005 and, over the course of a decade, built American Aquarium's reputation from regional up-and-comers to acclaimed, internationally recognized act thanks to records like 2012's Jason Isbell-produced Burn. Flicker. Die. and 2015's Wolves. Inspired by the November 2015 terrorist attacks at a Parisian nightclub, Barham -- who was, at the time, on tour in nearby Belgium -- quickly wrote a new batch of acoustic-led songs that would eventually become Rockingham, his solo debut. In early 2016, with co-producer Bradley Cook, he and a handpicked crew of musicians recorded the new material in a couple of marathon sessions. The album was released later that year, earning positive reviews. Barham toured as a solo act as well, hitting all 48 states in the continental United States during the spring and summer of 2017. ~ Timothy Monger, Rovi Stay Grateful!!
