This week, the crew is back to recap a wild week in Houston! We warned everyone that Houston is not built for Spring Break, and we were right—from out-of-towners paying $2,500 for bottles to the Houston Rodeo getting shut down because of a massive 100-person brawl. We talk about the real rodeo culture, taking the kids to Golden Corral, and witnessing Shaboozey absolutely rock the stage in chaps.Things get heated when we dive into sports: Did Bam Adebayo disrespect Kobe Bryant and the game of basketball by intentionally fouling to score 83 points? We debate his legacy, compare his star power to WNBA MVP A'ja Wilson, and discuss which current NBA players could realistically score 80 next.Plus, we address the Smackwater rant about Houston DJs being "button pushers," and swap hilarious stories about the absolute worst jobs we've ever worked—including surviving a grueling construction crew and the dreaded solitary confinement of the "Dog House".Follow the crew: @ThePourHorsemen @ShyThugg | @HardbodyKiotti | @Phi1TheDon | @LebronaldPalmer I @yo.dj.silk I @armourie.official Production Crew @TheJohnSims | @1Kharyy Shot at @TheHiveHouston Hurt At Work? In this episode of In The LOOP, Jordan Jo sits down with one of the most respected voices in Western sports media—Kadee Coffman—for a conversation about persistence, opportunity, and building a career in the rodeo industry. Raised on a fifth-generation cow-calf operation in Clovis, California, Kadee grew up surrounded by horses and Western heritage. Her journey began in rodeo queen pageantry, earning titles like Miss California Rodeo Salinas and Miss Rodeo California. When her goal of becoming Miss Rodeo America didn't unfold the way she expected, it pushed her to rethink her path—leading her to pursue broadcast journalism and eventually a career in Western sports media. What followed was a career built on what Kadee calls being “pleasantly persistent.” From landing her first opportunities with Superior Livestock Auction to stepping onto some of the biggest stages in rodeo broadcasting, she shares the lessons she learned along the way and the mentors—like Pam Minnick—who helped shape her approach to storytelling. Kadee also reflects on memorable moments covering the National Finals Rodeo, the fast pace of live television, and the responsibility of telling the athletes' stories in the moments that matter most. Beyond the camera, Kadee has also built an impressive career in business development in the construction industry while balancing life as a wife and mother—proving that passion, preparation, and persistence can open doors in more than one arena. This episode is full of insight, humor, and real-life lessons—including a memorable ranch story about a miniature donkey named Fiesta.

Joint longevity is important. Fortunately, there are things we can do to keep our joints healthy well into the late stages of life. In this episode, recorded live at Black Hills Stock Show and Rodeo, David Woodard, M.D., Orthopedic Surgeon at Orthopedic & Specialty Hospital in Rapid City, says that good cartilage health and preservation usually mean maintaining a healthy weight and consistent physical activity, such as daily walks or swims. In this episode of In The LOOP, Jordan Jo sits down with one of the most influential women in rodeo and Western business — Billie Bray — for a conversation that spans three decades of change, resilience, growth, and leadership. From the electric atmosphere of the 2016 USTRC Finals to the birth of million-dollar rodeos, Billie walks us through the moments that reshaped the Western industry as we know it. She shares what it was like owning and building the USTRC for 20 years, investing in the classification system that leveled the playing field, and helping grow team roping into the largest economic force in Western sports — now paying out over $100 million annually. But this episode isn't just about numbers. It's about family. It's about raising two high-level rodeo athletes. It's about watching your son win an all-around title at the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo — the same arena where you once competed — and hearing him say he wants to be just like his mom. Because at the heart of it all, rodeo is still about values, family, and the culture we're fighting to preserve.
