Well, take out your Bible and look with me, if you would, to the book of Numbers and chapter 21 the Book of Numbers and chapter 21 now we're going to look at an instance where the children of Israel did what was wrong in the eyes of the Lord, and that is because they acted naturally. They did not ever seek God's influence in their lives. They didn't pay attention to his truth. They didn't consult his word, and therefore they suffered. If taxes are your biggest lifetime expense, why leave them to a once-a-year scramble? We zoom out and redesign how you plan, using strategies that compound savings over decades while improving cash flow and control today. With Ashley Sowers back in the studio, we explore how a wealth team sees the full picture—your goals, assets, timelines, and family dynamics—and turns today's tax incentives into clear, defensible moves that simplify your life.We reframe the goal: stop chasing zero tax and start paying a fair, predictable rate when it buys freedom. Ashley explains why extended individual brackets and a high standard deduction keep “taxes on sale,” how the enhanced senior deduction affects planning after 65, and when Roth conversions act like tax insurance. We then dig into practical wins: a 75-point tax checklist, tax diversification across taxable, tax-deferred, and tax-free buckets, beneficiary design to reduce the 10-year inherited IRA squeeze, and charitable tools like donor-advised funds and charitable remainder trusts. The throughline is simplicity with intention—gaining options for retirement, volatility, and legacy while reducing lifetime taxes.About our guest:Ashley Sowers, Partner & Wealth Advisor at Carson Wealth Hagerstown19833 Leitersburg Pike Suite 1Hagerstown MD 21742301-739-8505www.carsonwealth.comConverting from a traditional IRA to a Roth IRA is a taxable event.Generally, a donor advised fund is a separately identified fund or account that is maintained and operated by a section 501(c)(3) organization, which is called a sponsoring organization. Each account is composed of contributions made by individual donors. Once the donor makes the contribution, the organization has legal control over it. However, the donor, or the donor's representative, retains advisory privileges with respect to the distribution of funds and the investment of assets in the account. Donors take a tax deduction for all contributions at the time they are made, even though the money may not be dispersed to a charity until much later.Investment minimums and restrictions apply. The minimum investment amount for AQR Flex 145/45 is $1 million which must be in a taxable portfolio with assets that can be margined (including cash and cash equivalents, stocks, ETFs, equity mutual funds). The minimum investment amount for AQR Flex 250/150 is $3 million which must be in a taxable portfolio with assets that can be margined (including cash and cash equivalents, stocks, ETFs, equity mutual funds). Episode 123: In today's episode, Murray attorney Jeff Roberts discusses an interesting question, "Can I file for workers' comp and social security disability?" Some workplace injuries are severe enough that the injured worker will not be able to return to work. They can receive permanent total disability benefits from workers' compensation, but they may also have the right to file for social security disability at the same time. Jeff has over 33 years of experience handling workers' compensation claims and social security disability claims, in addition to his personal injury practice. It's not often you'll find a law firm that handles all 3 of those areas of law. Jeff describes a previous client who contacted him to file for social security disability. After speaking with the individual, he determined the injury was work-related, and thus qualified the person to file for workers' comp. It's a complex decision, involving a very complex system. It's a good idea to seek the advice of an experienced attorney to help you to work though the details of your specific situation. Jeff can handle social security disability claims in all 50 states. Jeff Roberts Has a Law Office in Hopkinsville Jeff's office is located at 1910 S. Virginia St, Suite 210. He can meet with you to discuss your specific situation. He offers free consultations. We hope you found this episode insightful and helpful. Thank you for listening! What Do Other Clients Think About Jeff? We always encourage listeners to read the Google Reviews Jeff Roberts has received from many of his clients. A 5-Star rating and the comments are earned recognition and demonstrate Jeff's commitment to his clients. As a solo attorney, he has more Google Reviews than some firms with multiple attorneys. Jeff shares the credit with his staff at the Roberts Law Office. Successfully representing injured clients is a team effort. It's why Jeff likes to say his firm offers small town service with big city results. Jeff Roberts Represents Injured Clients Throughout Kentucky With offices located in Calloway County (Murray) and now in Christian County (Hopkinsville), Jeff has a history of representing personal injury clients, workers' compensation clients and social security disability clients across the state. He's represented clients from Paducah, Bowling Green, Louisville, Covington, Whitesville and many other Kentucky locations. He's not just a Western Kentucky injury attorney. Is It Time to Speak with an Attorney about Your Social Security Disability Claim? The office phone number is (270) 753-0053 or toll free at 800-844-5108. Notre 1ère invitée est Michelle Blades pour Where To ? Artiste aux multiples facettes, Michelle Blades revient avec 'You're The Mother, You're The Man', morceau d'ouverture et premier extrait de son nouvel album Where To? Titres interprétés au grand studio : - Dear Friend Live RFI - You're the mother, You're the man ? extrait CD - I Missed the Dance Live RFI. Line Up : Michelle Blades (guitare, voix) Son : Benoît Letirant, Mathias Taylor. ► Album Where To ? (Escargot Musique / IDOL 2026). Instagram - YouTube. In this episode of Around the School Table (xuno.com.au/podcasts), host Steve Davis is joined by Hans Moningka, Director, APAC from RM PLC Group (rm.com) to explore the evolving landscape of digital assessment. He brings a global perspective shaped by partnerships with major assessment authorities and education systems. Throughout the conversation, Hans unpacks how digital exams are steadily replacing paper-based models. Rather than describing a sudden revolution, he outlines a careful and strategic shift. Moreover, he explains why accessibility is driving student preference for online assessment. Research across several countries shows most students favour digital formats, especially after direct experience. Importantly, Hans addresses the balance between innovation and integrity. While digital platforms offer flexibility, assessment authenticity must remain central. Therefore, the discussion explores tools such as secure exam browsers, focus tracking, and AI-supported proctoring. These technologies strengthen oversight, yet they also raise ethical considerations. In addition, the episode examines the growing influence of artificial intelligence in schools. AI-generated content is becoming more common. Consequently, educators must rethink how originality and authorship are assessed. Hans shares practical insights into responsible AI use, emphasising preparation over panic. For teachers and school leaders, the conversation highlights two key gaps: availability and preparation. Infrastructure, device access, and professional learning all shape readiness. Furthermore, mindset plays a critical role. Small, deliberate steps towards digital integration can build long-term confidence. Ultimately, this episode offers cautious optimism. Assessment will continue to evolve, yet humane and credible practice can remain at its core. For educators navigating change, the insights from Hans provide clarity, reassurance, and strategic direction. Powered by: xuno.com.au.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Am I the Haunted? | Paranormal Podcast In our first-ever "Am I the Haunted?" episode inspired by the popular "Am I the Asshole?" format, we read three Reddit submissions and decide whether people are experiencing genuine paranormal activity using our new scale of haunted, probably haunted, or not haunted. Our first story comes from someone who moved into a new house and feels an overwhelming anxiety in their small office-turned-bedroom, bursting into tears the first time they stepped in and experiencing constant anxious spirals whenever they enter the room, with prayers and rebuking negative energy failing to provide relief. The second submission involves a person who woke up in the middle of the night to feel a mysterious presence in their pitch-black room, sensing someone standing there before feeling their mattress sink as if something placed a single foot on the bed to hoist itself up—yet nothing ultimately happened despite the mix of fear and curiosity they experienced. Our final story features someone convinced they're spreading a curse through their favorite book, which they've recommended to five different people including their boyfriend, best friends, and cousin—with every single person having a massive falling out with them within days to a month after borrowing the book, leading them to wonder if there's something supernatural at play.

Intuit moved up the pricing deadline for Accountant Suite add-ons to May 1st, which means less time to evaluate whether Books Close and the Accelerate dashboard are worth paying for. The inaugural episode of the Suite Spot: Social Success Series is here! Join first time host and Brand Ambassador at Travel Media Group, Cassady Quintana as she sits down with special guest, Aislynn Roberts, the TMG Enterprise Client Success Manager, as they discuss the latest and greatest social media trends and landscape for hotels. This first installment of the series is the beginning of a new age for the podcast and we hope you enjoy the discussion between two social media gurus on how hotels and property management groups can not only optimize their social media presence but also how they can see the greatest return on their social media investment. Cassady Quintana: Hello everyone and welcome to our very first episode of the Social Success Podcast, A Suite Spot podcast powered by Travel Media Group. I'm your host, Cassady Quintana, Brand Ambassador here at Travel Media Group. Super excited to finally kick off this podcast. You know, the reason we decided to start this was because of the success of our social success webinar series that we did last year and we're still doing to this day. But I was hearing a lot of feedback from people that were watching and there's a lot of opinions and hot takes about hotel, social media, but not nearly enough conversations with people that are actually in the thick of it working in hotel social media. So I thought, what better way to have Aislynn Roberts, our Enterprise Client Success Manager here at Travel Media Group as our first guest, she is working with partners and talking about these topics every day. So Aislynn thank you for joining me. Aislynn Roberts: Thank you for having me. Cassady Quintana: So kind of before we get into social media, I want people to know what your role is like. So just walk us through kind of what your day-to-day looks like. Aislynn Roberts: Yeah, of course. So as the enterprise Client Success Manager, I have a unique opportunity to work not only with individual property owners, but I also work with brand team execs and the C-Suite for hotel management groups as well. So it's a very interesting role in which you are talking to these executive teams a lot around overall portfolio trends. What you're seeing across the board industry, news updates, especially if you consider meta, how many times they're updating. Making sure that they're in the know of what's happening, but also giving them trend analysis for their portfolio. What's working well, the performance, what we're seeing across the board versus when you're talking to individual properties, it's very much focused, right? What their individual goals are, what they're trying to achieve, and, and really honing in on what works well for them. And social media content wise. The conversation becomes very much focused into their amenities, what their guests are, what type of audience they're looking for, versus what the C-suite and brand. It's overarching, right? Like how can you continue to capitalize this across the board? Cassady Quintana: Yeah, I totally agree. And so when you're having these conversations, what are some of the biggest concerns or reservations that you're hearing the most from these people you're speaking with? Aislynn Roberts: Yeah, it can differ across the board. Most of the time it really depends on each individual's comfort level, which surprisingly matches throughout the executive team. So whether you're individual property level as you go up, dependent on your personal use, your personal comfort with social media, your conversations could be the same or it could be vastly different. If you're talking to a director of marketing or VP of marketing who's eats lives and breathes social media. So, those conversations shape a little bit different, but there is a lot of fear of not knowing what to do, right? Not understanding how it works, fear of doing something wrong, or needing to be a hundred percent professional and completely photogenic and ph...

Well, we are going to be studying in the book of Numbers and chapter 20. We began that chapter last week. We're going to continue now with verse 14. And there's an important word that appears here, and we're going to see that this word is connected to Moses, and we need to remember something. Moses was the first Redeemer. We find that the Exodus from Egypt is understood in Judaism as the first redemption. But what do we look forward to? The Weeping Woman - La Llorona | Paranormal Podcast This week, we explore the Weeping Woman - La Llorona, who wanders along rivers and lakes throughout Mexico, the American Southwest, and Latin America, forever crying out for her lost children with her signature wail of "Ay, mis hijos!" We trace the possible origins of this vengeful ghost back to the 1500s in Mexico City, examining connections to Aztec mythology including the Hungry Woman and the goddess Cihuacoatl, before diving into the most common version of the tale about a beautiful peasant woman named Maria who married a wealthy nobleman, had two children, but was ultimately abandoned for a younger woman—leading her to drown her children in a jealous rage and then take her own life in the same river. We discuss how La Llorona serves multiple purposes across different age groups: teaching young children not to misbehave or cry excessively, warning teenagers about staying out past curfew and the dangers of wandering at night, and representing deeper themes of regret, misogyny, and social pressure for adults. Then, we share four chilling real-life encounters including a Guatemalan family whose 3-year-old was found drenched in an outdoor sink with a mysterious woman figure, a Texas deputy who heard wailing near the Colorado River that would stop only when he shined his flashlight on the water, and an 11-year-old El Paso boy who woke at 4 AM to hear bloodcurdling screams of "Help, help, mis hijos" coming from a nearby ditch while all the neighborhood animals howled in response.
Something shifted in January — and this January 2026 Denver real estate market update breaks down exactly what’s happening. Rents are resetting to 2018 levels. A third of all available apartments were built in the last decade. Colorado now ranks 5th nationally for outbound moves. 55% are leaving the state — the highest since 1990. Landlords across the Front Range are holding rents flat or cutting them just to keep units filled. But here’s what most people are missing — this same pressure is creating buying opportunities that haven’t existed in over a decade. Chris Lopez sits down with his monthly market panel. Troy Howell with Nova Home Loans, Jeff White with Envision Advisors, Jenny Bayless covering Colorado Springs, and Shawn Riley from KeyRenter Denver all join the conversation. The group digs into the numbers. They share what they’re seeing firsthand from their own portfolios, clients, and deal flow. Things get real when Chris reveals a fourplex across the street from his own just sold at his 2018 purchase price. That confirms what the data has been showing about multifamily. Then the panel unpacks a $30 million foreclosure on four central Denver apartment buildings. Zero bidders showed up at auction. Colorado residential land now averages $942,200 per acre — up 174% in a decade. That’s why starter homes have disappeared entirely. And Shawn Riley shares that rents on condos and townhomes are down 7-10%. Apartments are offering up to three months free rent, making it brutal for older inventory to compete. In This Episode We Cover: Colorado Springs hits 4.5 months supply — officially tipping into a buyer’s market while prices hold mostly steady Why Denver inventory is building 7-8% year over year and new construction spec homes still aren’t moving even with builder-subsidized 4% rates The rental market resetting to 2018 levels and why landlords are holding rents flat to avoid costly turnover Section 8 developments including Denver paying 120% of fair market rents but freezing new voucher issuance and rent increases Room by room rental demand softening — what co-living operators need to know heading into spring Why the panel says this is Colorado’s first real buyer’s market in a decade and the 1031 exchange strategy to capitalize on it The new Fed chair nomination and what rate improvements of 0.50-0.75% from last year mean for refinance opportunities If you’ve been waiting for a 2026 Denver real estate market update that actually tells you where the deals are, this is it. Whether you’re sitting on single family properties eyeing a move into multifamily, a landlord figuring out the right rent price, or an investor ready to pick up distressed deals at steep discounts, the panel breaks down exactly where things stand right now. We saw last week, when we began our study of First Samuel chapter 17, that the stage was being set for this epic battle, a battle that would bring a great transition. Throwback Files: Fresno Nightcrawler | Paranormal Podcast In this month's throwback episode, we head back to Fresno and visit Charlie's sworn enemy, the Fresno Nightcrawler. About the Fresno Nightcrawler: The Fresno Nightcrawler is a popular cryptid from folklore, known from grainy videos of strange, white, leg-like figures with no visible heads or arms, resembling "walking pants" that glide across yards, originating from a 2007 Fresno sighting that went viral, sparking theories of aliens or interdimensional beings.

Greek Gods | Paranormal Podcast In this Greek gods episode timed with the Winter Olympics, we explore the fascinating world of Greek mythology starting with the origin story of the three most powerful gods—Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades—who were born to the Titan Cronus and his wife Rhea during the Golden Age, though Cronus attempted to eat all his children after a prophecy warned he'd be overthrown by his sons, leading Zeus to eventually free his brothers and defeat their father. We discuss the 12 great Olympians including Zeus (the serial cheater who ruled the sky), Hera (his perpetually angry sister-wife and goddess of marriage), Athena (the brilliant goddess of wisdom who burst fully formed from Zeus's head), Dionysus (the fun-loving god of wine and theater who was gestated in Zeus's thigh after his mother exploded), and several compelling minor gods like Hecate (goddess of magic and crossroads) and Pan (the half-goat satyr god of wilderness). We share captivating myths including Hades kidnapping Persephone with pomegranate seeds that created the seasons, Prometheus stealing fire for humanity and suffering eternal punishment, and the tragic tale of Arachne, who challenged Athena to a weaving contest with devastating consequences.
