Each day on 'Abounding Grace' you will be encouraged to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

We're in the middle of a new study in Exodus, and today we aim to complete chapter fifteen. We all go through adverse circumstances, and when we do we need to be careful how we react to them. We can very easily turn bitter and angry. But it's during those times that our perspective very often needs to be realigned with Jesus at the cross. Recently on Abounding Grace we've been tracing the steps of the Israelites… delivered from slavery in Egypt, and more recently from the pursuing Egyptian army at the Red Sea. We couldn't help but see the power and faithfulness of God through it all. But now they come to Mara, a place with bitter water. If we were to look back on our lives, we could probably identify a season of Mara. Where we became bitter. It happens to us all at times, just as it did for the nation of Israel. But here's the good news, “Your Bitterness Can Be Healed!” To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/302/29?v=20251111

We all have our battles in life. Whether it's in the form of a false accusation, a difficult employee, or someone stirring up trouble in church. And it's during those times we're tempted to put up our dukes and fight. But there's a better way to go, and that's to allow the Lord to fight our battles. That's the emphasis of today's Abounding Grace as we turn back to Exodus chapter fifteen. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/302/29?v=20251111

Today we embark on a brand new study of Acts here on Abounding Grace. We plan on going through each chapter and verse with you in the coming months. And today we learn what an authentic Jesus loving life is all about. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/302/29?v=20251111

Whether it's in the car on your way to work, or on the treadmill at the gym, or even in the pew at church, it's such a joy and privilege to sing songs of worship to the Lord. And today on Abounding Grace we've got a good one for you to sing. It's actually the first recorded song in the Bible and has great meaning and significance. Pastor Ed Taylor will be wrapping up Exodus chapter fourteen. If you'll recall the children of Israel were delivered by God from Egyptian slavery, but now they face a new obstacle that would leave them fearful and anxious. The Red Sea was in front, and the army of Egypt behind. They looked to be trapped. But God would again deliver them in a miraculous way. Ever been in a place where you felt trapped, and fear and anxiety were overwhelming you? It's a common experience, and one the nation of Israel was all too familiar with. Today on Abounding Grace the Israelites have just been delivered from Egypt, and they appear to be trapped with the Red Sea in front of them and the Egyptian Army behind them! What happens next is truly amazing, and there are some powerful lessons we can draw from it, the next time we feel trapped or are afraid. Ever been backed into a corner, where there appears to be no hope or way out? And you were greatly afraid? It's a common experience, and one the Israelites were all too familiar with. Today on Abounding Grace pastor Ed Taylor share the details surrounding the parting of the Red Sea. One of the great miracles of the Bible, and encouraging too! The Israelites looked as good as dead, but God changed everything! To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/302/29?v=20251111

Maybe you're facing something so big, so crushing, or devastating that you're scared and hope seems lost? Today on Abounding Grace we'll turn to Exodus chapter fourteen and see what to do when a crisis strikes. We're going through the book of Exodus right now, and if there was ever a group of people who needed God's provision during a tough stretch it was Moses and the Israelites fleeing from Egypt. In chapter fourteen we see the mighty hand of God continue to protect the people of Israel as they flee the persecution of Pharaoh. Examine yourself to see if we're in the faith today on Abounding Grace. We'll finish our study of Second Corinthians. It's a good idea to examine ourselves from time to time, and we have that opportunity today with pastor Ed Taylor. Today pastor Ed Taylor takes us once again to the book of Exodus, and the actual exodus of the Israelites from Egypt. In chapters thirteen and fourteen we see a great example of how God both leads and protects His people. But we also learn something about how to follow God too! Today we return to Exodus, a study of God's deliverance. But this book also points us to Christ, our salvation, identity and authority too! As we open up chapter twelve we'll hear all about the Passover, a time when the Lord would strike down the firstborn of Egypt. But would Passover those households who followed His instructions. Today we return to our study of Exodus, and speaking of Exodus… we've come to the Great Exodus! God has been preparing the nation of Israel for deliverance, and it's finally arrived here in chapter twelve! It's an encouraging passage of Scripture about our Great Deliverer. Today we polish off our five-part series called, “Greater!” And pastor Ed will suggest adding to this year Greater Remembrance. We'll recall a time when Samuel took a stone, set it up, and called it “Ebenezer.” It would help the people remember God's faithfulness. Is there someone in your life that you're having an issue with? I think it's safe to say, we've all been there. While many are quick to post their feelings on the matter on Facebook, or type out an angry lengthy email and hit send, pastor Ed Taylor will suggest a much better approach today on Abounding Grace. And that is to go to the person directly, and take it to the Lord. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/302/29?v=20251111

Today and next time, we'll be finishing up our series titled, “Greater!” Pastor Ed Taylor will be speaking about Greater Remembrance. Whether times are good, or they're difficult, it's always good to pause and remember God's faithfulness. And today's message will help us in that endeavor, as we take you to First Samuel chapter seven and Joshua chapter four. Today we get back into our series for the new year called, “Greater.” And here in part four we're talking about Greater Sacrifice. Pastor Ed Taylor will continue our Greater series today. As we turn the calendar many of us would like to see some changes in our lives. Maybe to lose a few pounds or to kick a nasty habit! Today we'll see that the change we want will require Greater Sacrifice! And God can certainly help us with that. We'll discover today that God wants us to experience Greater Abiding. And as we do we'll experience Greater Fruit. So what does abiding in the Lord look like? Right now we're enjoying a topical series from pastor Ed Taylor called, “Greater.” God is looking for greater things in your life in 2026, and part of that involves a greater abiding relationship with Him. Have you ever loved someone very deeply, poured your heart and soul into their life, and have that met with ingratitude, or not have them love you in return? It's an all too common experience and can be very hurtful and disheartening. You might be surprised to find out that the apostle Paul experienced this too. As we'll see today in our study of Second Corinthians twelve the more he loved, the less he was loved in return. Do you want Greater Faith for this new year? If so, listen today to Abounding Grace! As we turn the calendar today I can't think of a better thing to do than study the Word, and specifically the names of God. We'll frame today's message around Exodus 3:14 where God says to Moses, “I am who I am!” And through this great declaration we learn something powerful about God's character and nature. Pastor Ed Taylor will continue our new series in Exodus today. We've titled this message, “Excuses, Excuses!” As that's really what we find Moses doing with God here in chapter three. God had called and chosen him, but Moses is full of excuses, questioning God's decision. Maybe you can relate to that on some level? To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/302/29?v=20251111

When God calls will you accept the charges? Today on Abounding Grace we'll hear of the call on Moses' life that was met with excuses rather than obedience and surrender. If we're not careful we can fall into that same trap. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/302/29?v=20251111

We'll be continuing our new study in Exodus with another visit to chapter two. You'll soon hear about the early years of Moses. He was delivered, and prepared by God to be the deliverer. But today we also find him acting out in the flesh, something we're all prone to! Through it all we'll be encouraged to follow the Lord in the Spirit, rather than the flesh. Many of us have wondered what heaven is going to be like, and Scripture gives us just enough to whet our appetite! But imagine what it would be like to be taken on up to heaven, for a look around, but not being able to tell others about it. Such was the case for the apostle Paul, and we'll hear about this experience as we turn in our Bibles to Second Corinthians chapter twelve. Today we return to our study in Exodus with another stop in chapter one. Deliverance is on the way for the children of Israel, and the same can be said of you, if you find yourself in bondage today. Today on Abounding Grace we notice the great sacrifice that came with being an apostle. And it's a reminder to us of the great cost attached to ministry. God has called some to serve full-time in the ministry, but is it ok for them to receive a salary from the people they serve at church? And are there times when the pastor may need to pick up a job on the side to meet their financial needs? We'll talk about that today on Abounding Grace as we near the end of our study in Second Corinthians. One thing that jumps off the page in chapter twelve is the apostle Paul's heart for the people he served. He didn't want to be a burden on them, not seeking what they have, though he gave everything he could to serve them. You can be sure that tough times are on the calendar for each of us… even godly Christians! And at times we may wonder why we're suffering, or why God doesn't remove a painful trial from our lives. Today on Abounding Grace we'll look at Paul's experience with a thorn in the flesh. He was suffering with it for over fourteen years, and asked God repeatedly to remove it. The Lord chose not to for a very good reason. Pastor Ed Taylor says there's something here in this story for us to hold on to, when we encounter difficult times. He's covering Second Corinthians chapter twelve. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/302/29?v=20251111

Many of us have put together a resume in an attempt to land a job. And we typically try to put our best foot forward, and highlight our best qualities. Today on Abounding Grace we'll have you think about your spiritual resume! Maybe like the guy we'll meet today, it's not that impressive by the world's standards. But be encouraged, God can still very much use you. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/302/29?v=20251111

Today, we'll take a look at what the apostle Paul referred to as his thorn in the flesh. Still today, God gives His children thorns, and as we'll see it's for good reason! To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/302/29?v=20251111

When God uses someone in your life, there can be that tendency within us to want to put them on some sort of pedestal. Because you're thankful. Or let's say the Lord is really using you and blessing your life… and people are thanking and praising you left and right. About that time you're tempted to think of yourself more highly than you ought to. Today on Abounding Grace we'll be encouraged to adopt a perspective modeled for us by the apostle Paul. He was humble, and just saw himself as a servant. He certainly didn't want to draw attention to himself or receive the glory for what God did in and through his life. Pastor Ed Taylor opens Second Corinthians twelve, and urges us to live with that mindset. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/302/29?v=20251111

So who has your ear friend? As you go through the day, are you more often than not listening to or reading things that are influencing you in the wrong direction? Today on Abounding Grace be encouraged to give Jesus your ear, and watch what will happen as a result. Pastor Ed Taylor will be covering Second Corinthians chapter eleven. And if you'll recall, false prophets had entered into the church at Corinth. And they were being lead astray. Very sadly the same thing is happening in today's church, so we need to be on our guard. I think it's safe to say we've all been fooled by someone. They portrayed themselves as one thing, and turned out to be someone entirely different! And that can be really hurtful. As we'll discover today, there are also wolves in sheep's clothing that enter into the church. If we're not careful they can rip us off, and hinder the work God wants to do through His church. So how do we spot them? Pastor Ed will help us with that as we turn back to Second Corinthians chapter eleven. Pastor Ed Taylor will be along shortly and continue our study in Second Corinthians. The apostle Paul is expressing his deep concern for the church in Corinth. They were dealing with deceivers, liars, and phonies. Savage wolves had come into the church and they were ripping them off, so Paul is going to tell it like it is. Hear more about it today. Today we'll continue our series though Second Corinthians with an important message about false teachers. Every message based on the words of the bible is important, but in the day and age we live in, warnings about false teachers is especially important. They are everywhere today, and the deceptions are sometimes very subtle. But they are also very dangerous. Have you ever looked at someone… maybe how they're dressed… and right away made some conclusions about them? And later on down the road you discovered you had it all wrong!
