B. Bad Bits, The Podcast was created for Black femmes as they navigate the various complexities of their world and existence. While helping them to discover the power and strength of self-actualization, and thus becoming their best selves.
About the Episode On this episode, I wrapped up the series, by frankly stepping into myself, and expanding my work. By coupling my teachings, with my spiritual gifts. While that will unfold more in 2020, I gave y'all a taste on E44, and the bonus episode. Where I was guided to do an intuitive tarot energy reading for the full year of 2020. Trust me when I say you want to make sure you listen to that in its entirety! The episode link can be found below. Additionally, I announced my very first 1:1 offering (as guided by spirit), which are monthly + yearly intuitive tarot energy readings. B. Bad Bits, The Reading, are Energy Readings that combine intuitive tarot reading, counseling, and coaching. As a way to deliver any messages that you need to know for the upcoming month, or any other pressing matter that you spirit guides or higher self may have to communicate to you. Here, I will meditate on your energy to gain an initial understanding, and also to identify any blockages you may have. Throughout the intuitive tarot reading, I'll be channelling messages for you. As well as identifying any clear next steps for you to consider, in relationship to your journey of self. Lastly, I'll be supplying you with any resources that may have surfaced from the reading. Resources could include episodes of the podcast, reading material suggestions, B. Bad Bits, The Guidebook, etc. You can learn more, or book your personal reading with me at: https://www.bbadblog.com/readings You can listen to the full 2020 energy reading at: https://soundcloud.com/bbadbits/e44-bonus-2020-intuitive-energy-reading B. Bad Bits, The Guidebook Vol. 1 - 4 a free Guidebook that takes the content of the podcast, and places it into the context of your life. Download Here: www.bbadblog.com/guidebooks About the Series In our year long conversation for 2019, I’ve focused on Self Actualization, as a way to once again lead you back to self, post spiritual awakening. Recognizing unsubscribing from the matrix as the first step of one’s spiritual awakening. Realizing that there is more out there for you, then leads you to question everything you once knew to be true, include who you are, and why you are. I like to say that our first job in this world is mastery of self, and that is essentially what Self Actualization is. Therefore, at this point in time, where human consciousness is being collectively awakened, my focus this entire year, has been on helping you all to actualize yourselves. As the first stop towards living in alignment with your soul's mission. With this being the final series in our ongoing conversation, I'll be focusing on Stepping into Self. By guiding you through a process of reclamation of self, to then help you redefine yourself for yourself, and finally Stepping into Yourself. Which can frankly be seen as a process of rebirth. #RealPheonixShit! Series Webpage: www.bbadblog.com/11-19 About B. Bad I'm B. About the Episode On this episode, we’re going to spend some time focusing on redefining ourselves. And I don’t mean that in a performative, or branded way, as a means of packaging up who you are with a neat bow on it to present it to the public. With this, I’m hoping that you are able to define yourself, for yourself! By first looking at the notion of change and how it is at the center of our evolution and thus our ability to redefine ourselves. I’ll also be giving you some tips for change, and identifying some things that may keep you from changing, or even wanting to. This is also another one of those episodes, that is most impactful when paired with B. Bad Bits, The Guidebook [Vol. 4] B. About the Episode On the first episode of the final series, I discussed Reclamation of Self, as a way for you to reclaim your power. The first place that my mind goes when I consider reclamation, is what or who are we reclaiming ourselves from? Which is where I started with this episode, utilizing the series of Separating Self + Society as the foundation. I also read Audre Lorde's Age, Race, Sex and Class: Women Redefining Difference to steepen our understanding of what we are reclaiming ourselves from. Further illustrating why we need to reclaim our power from these external sources. About the Episode On the final episode of the series, Radical Self Acceptance. I discussed post-accountability, as it relates to forgiveness of self. Because once you’ve separated the facts from the fiction, you actually have to look at who you are and what you’ve done directly in the eye, to see it fully. What are you actually forgiving yourself for? Taking that a step further, I’ll discussed forgiving ourselves for not only the role we’ve played in everything up until this point. But also for all of the things we have said or ways that we have treated ourselves, that stemmed for a place of unconscious self hate. About the Series For the series of Radical Self Acceptance, I really wanted to be able to make us take a critical look at our perception of self, where that stems from, if there’s any truth to it, and how it then resonates in our lives. To then face those ugly truths about ourselves, that aren’t baseless. To bring us to a space where we are able to see and accept ourselves, fully. Series Webpage: www.bbadblog.com/10-19 B. About the Episode On this episode, I discussed the repressed parts of ourselves that we keep hidden. Also known as our shadow selves. However, here I want to dispel the myth that we need to be "getting rid" of this part of ourselves, as a way of making room for, or to fully step into yourself. I’m going to be letting you know why this shadow deserves to be integrated into our lives, instead. About the Episode On this episode, I’m helping you analyze your current perception of self. Starting by taking a look at some mentalities you may unconsciously uphold, that’s keeping you from self acceptance. From lack mentality, to fear, and of course, taking a deeper look at our nuanced experience as Black Femmes + Women. About the Episode On this episode of B. Bad Bits, I focused on how to zoom out and put all of the piece of the puzzle together. Now that you’ve analyzed your childhood, and the root of your motivation with spiritual assistance in Episodes 36 + 37. About the Series Radical Self Understanding; in this series, we started by understanding who we are and why we are here on a foundational level. By starting with psychology, and looking to the stars for supporting tools and resources. We then moved into understanding our inner child. Recognizing that the shaping of our personhood, happens during adolescence, therefore, there are so many unresolved feelings to unpack, and nuggets of knowledge to ponder alike. This is what's unpacked throughout this series. Series Webpage: https://www.bbadblog.com/9-19 About B. Bad I'm B. About the Episode On this episode of B. Bad Bits, I explored the understanding our inner child, as it will hold so much pertinent information into who we are, and why we are. Once again, as a build from last week’s episode, that helped us to lay a foundation for who we are. After unpacking our inner child this week, I will then move into putting all of the pieces together, to help you with the process of discovering your purpose, on the next episode. the B. Bad Bits So far in this year’s ongoing conversation of Self Actualization, we’ve discussed what self actualization is, why its necessary, and why Black femmes and women are at a disadvantage of obtaining it or even working towards it. As well as how the matrix' overarching objective is to keep us from tapping into ourselves. Through separating self and society, we were able to detach ourselves from expectations that were unconsciously projected onto us. Allowing for us to actually separate ourselves from society. But now that we know who and what we aren’t, we are we? Which is what I’m hoping to provide some context for you throughout this series of Radical Understanding of Self. Starting with this episode! Bad Bits for this final episode before we head into September's series of Radical Self Understanding, it will be another DEEEEP dive, that will examine the various projected expectations that we often assume, and need to separate ourselves from. Therefore, moving into this week, I will be talking about the new series Separating Self & Society. I utilized this episode to lay the foundation for the need for Self Actualization. Through breaking down white supremacist capitalist patriarchy in plain language. B. Bad Bits (7:18) This moment of stillness the past few months, has forced me to face some harsh truths. Truly teaching me the power of pause, and giving me the space to realign, ahead of MY new year. Alternative Truths (4:33) Here I discuss radicalizing the way we conduct business. In relationship to voting with our dollars, by intentionally circulating the Black dollar. Collective Conscience (15:17) A reminder to get yo foot off yo own damn neck! B. Bad Bits (22:02) On this episode, I talked all about the psychology of self. Paralleling what I’ve been teaching aka what I know to be true from the lessons of life, i.e. source. to what psychology has shown us. To further lay the foundation, for this year ahead in content. Followed by what would have been the final installment, which is challenging our idea of constant evolvement, & getting comfortable being in a constant state of evolvement. LINKS B. For Episode 24, I finished off August’s theme, Detaching from Projected Expectations. For this series, I started with detaching expectations from our younger selves, where I explored who we wanted to be as a child, and detaching ourselves from that box. Next, I moved into detaching expectations from our families. This was a huge one for me, as I have recently had a very freeing breakthrough with my family, and wanted to pass along some of my B. Bad Bits from that experience. With that, on this podcast, I explored detaching expectations from our social media selves. By really taking a look at who they are, and why they exists? In order to unpack and detach ourselves from them. LINKS Monthly Series: www.bbadblog.com/series WELL Summit: https://wellsummit.org/# From Corporate 2 B.
