Almighty God is not jealous of anything because He is all sufficient. But He is jealous for everything because it all belongs to Him. This includes you! What idols are in the hidden rooms of your heart? They must be dethroned.
The New Testament makes a distinction between two types of power. "Dunamis" is the power to do things beyond our natural ability. "Exousia" is the willpower to not do things we have the ability to do; supernatural self-control. In both cases, we need the Holy Spirit!

We have a mission, given to us by God, to disciple others and present them to God. Going all in and all out for Jesus is giving Him everything you've got. You aren't called to be a spectator—a rim hugger.
