Jesus is the head and we are the body. If Jesus said His Kingdom is not of this world, then our Kingdom should not be of this world. The world's kingdom focuses on power, authoritarian rule, money, prestige, and other things however, Jesus said His Kingdom is based on truth.
As Christians we cannot have truth and no love nor can we have love and no truth, but we must have both. We cannot have partial truth and partial love. The truth and love we are supposed to have must be based on what the Bible says. The world's truth and love is conditional, produces conflict, and is confrontational.
This sermon emphasizes the need for the child of God to grow in their commitment to God. The sermons outlines certain commitments that believers need to go back to.
This sermon emphasizes the need for the child of God to put God first in everything while emphasizing how essential it is to give your first fruit as a believer.
This week we take a look at Gideon a person who had no experience in war, but God called him to lead Israel as a Judge and into battle against their enemies. Gideon was able to lead Israel because the Lord was with him. God was patient with Gideon and helped him grow into the person to be able to lead Israel in the time of their need.
For our podcast, Huan-Ca talked about an 104 year old granny who went skydiving. Ali talked about giving food to the homeless people. This week we learn about God being with Joshua. In studying the promotion of Joshua we learn that a person may be strong in faith in one area, but that doesn't mean they will be strong in faith in another area. After the death of Moses Joshua became fearful and God intervened and came to encourage him.Numbers 27, Joshua 1
This week we take a look at how God was with Joseph. Sometimes we can feel like we are doing everything right and things still come against us. It doesn't mean the Lord is not with us, but He in turn is with us while we are going through the storm and the hardships in life. As long as we are in this fallen world we will face opposition. Joseph faced rejection throughout his life even though it appears he did everything the right way. On this side of the cross we can see that God was with Joseph, but what about Joseph when he was being rejected, betrayed. lied on, and thrown into prison. Did he see God was with him through his storm? Do we know God is with us while we are going through the storm?

We are going to kick off 2025 with a four-week series called Dunamis, which means "power" from 2 Cor 12:9. We live in a world where weakness is not celebrated but is ashamed of. Listen to Christopher's message and Jo's powerful testimony on how we should view weakness from the lens of God.

Forgiveness is a command, a choice, and a process, and it's more a relationship activity than a religious activity. Listen to Christopher's message that inspires forgiveness and provides very practical guidelines about how to forgive. This message concludes our Dunamis sermon series.

Send us a textEpisode 19, “Step into His Presence: The Holy Ghost”Hello and welcome to Episode 19 of our series “Step into His Presence.” Today, we are stepping into the presence of the Holy Spirit, also known as the Holy Ghost. My name is Stephanie Wright, and I am your host for today's episode. Before we start, you can enjoy Episode 18, a flashback video on our YouTube channel @cgmissionsinc celebrating our 20th anniversary in missions. Okay, it's time to step into His presence.Next year, on March 23, I will celebrate 50 years since I accepted Jesus as my Savior and Lord. That was March 23, 1975. I have traveled for 50 years with another friend. My friend isn't male or female, he or she, but my friend is a spirit. You guessed it, the Holy Spirit or the Holy Ghost. I was compelled to talk about the Holy Spirit because some of us have relegated Him to a bit part in a major production—our lives—instead of giving Him equal billing with the Father and the Son. It is no offense to the Father and Son if we recognize the Holy Spirit. They are not rivals with one another because they are One God in three distinct persons—the Trinity. They work in concert to fulfill the requests presented to the throne of God. We have forgotten the Spirit's purpose in our lives. The Father and the Son sent the Holy Spirit back to earth to indwell and empower us. That's what Jesus said about the Holy Spirit in Acts 1:8. “But you shall receive power (Dunamis) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” The Holy Spirit has a specific work to do on earth. That work is to be our intercessor between earth and heaven—an intercessor for advocating or advising in any situation. So, when we have circumstances that we don't fully understand—and there are many of those—we have to trust the Holy Spirit to intercede for us. The Holy Spirit knows how to interpret what we need for God to do. Romans 8:26 says, Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.I explained in an earlier podcast that the Holy Spirit is our advocate, like an attorney or lawyer. So, let's think of it like this. You go to an attorney and explain what you need done. Your attorney will not go to the court and use your exact words. She will qualify or break down what you said into legal terminology so the judge understands your request. Most likely, what you say would not be in the language a judge would comprehend, but your lawyer will precisely and effectively word your request so that it is understood perfectly by the judge. That's what the Spirit does for us. We say Holy Spirit, this is what I need. The Holy Spirit intercedes for you in heaven with the perfectly worded request. Then Jesus—seated at the right hand of God as our mediator with God—finalizes the request to God and God answers. I Timothy 2:5 and Mark 16:19. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of . . . If you are going through or have experienced any struggles, depression, or any spiritual attacks then this is a message you will want to hear from Elder Phil.
The Lord longs to give us His Holy Spirit power, not just power for selfish gain but power so that we can be a witness in testifying about the truth of God. It's okay if we don't have the personality of the prerequisite in our biblical education to do so but all we need is the power to go out and preach this word with our lives. Along with the power we also need to be able to discern where the Holy Spirit is leading us because some things can simply be a good idea instead of a God idea. Sometimes the call of God might lead us to encounter closed doors which is why it is important to start any journey with a revelation from God. Our road might lead us to opposition which does not always mean that God is not in it but a reminder to stand firm on the word He first gave us. The enemy will make us put our faith in fear instead of the plan that God has for us, especially if it is one that requires faith. We might not have the provision or the right relationships but when God says now He means it and He plans to provide for everything! When we are chosen to change the world we have to: 1 Fear God, not Man 2 Shake the dust off my feet and get back up 3 Never let my praise be silenced Fears are proportional to the God we serve, if we serve a little God we will be scared of everything but if we serve a big God we will be scared of nothing. People are yearning for a demonstration of the power of God and we need some believers who will not just know the word but will operate in Dunamis power so that when people hear the teaching and see the move of God they will have no choice but to believe. God's ways are greater than ours and He will allow us to walk through storms, closed doors, miracles, signs and wonders but all these things are only a result of obedience. We might be attacked at our place of greatest value and have to overcome fear to get to the other side but it will all be worth it because God's word will and always will be true! Application: Has the Fear of Man, fear of failure or the fear of losing what you know to be your life kept you from stepping out into the call that He has for you? Prayer: Father I pray that I will be able to subject myself to your good and perfect will always. I want to get rid of the fear of man and the fear of failure because I know that faith requires obedience and above all, I long to be obedient to your will. Mold me as clay and allow me to become a vessel for your Glory!

Dunamis Charge is an advertiser.Devin: What is your superpower?Natalie: I truly believe, Devin, that my superpower is faith. In today's episode of Superpowers for Good, I had the pleasure of speaking with Natalie King, the dynamic Founder and CEO of Dunamis Charge. Natalie's passion and commitment to electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure are truly inspiring, and her insights highlight the importance of equitable access to EV charging stations.Natalie emphasized the “chicken and the egg” scenario that has hindered the widespread adoption of EVs. While EV adoption rates have not met initial expectations, she pointed out that this is largely due to insufficient EV infrastructure. This gap presents a unique opportunity for Dunamis Charge to step in and make a significant impact. As she put it, “You do have real range anxiety for EV drivers and for those interested in purchasing an EV but won't because the EV infrastructure is not there.”Dunamis Charge is not just another player in the EV market; it is a trailblazer focused on serving underserved communities. Natalie passionately described how Dunamis Charge is leveraging billions of dollars in federal investment to create reliable and accessible EV charging stations. By setting up a manufacturing plant in Detroit, Dunamis Charge is not only addressing the infrastructure gap but also creating jobs and supporting local communities. “We are uniquely positioned to take advantage of all of the billions of dollars being invested right now in this EV infrastructure industry and to make it well and to make it right here in America and to employ workers from America to build it,” Natalie shared. Moreover, Natalie's commitment to environmental justice is evident in her approach. Dunamis Charge's “Communities in Charge” program partners with faith-based and nonprofit organizations to educate and engage communities about the benefits of EVs. This initiative ensures that the transition to EVs is inclusive and beneficial for all. As Natalie eloquently put it, “We want to be that bridge to those communities because we already work in those communities, we hire from those communities, and we believe that we can bring the EV deployment as an opportunity.”In essence, Dunamis Charge is not only solving the current EV infrastructure challenges but also paving the way for a more inclusive and sustainable future. Natalie King's visionary leadership and dedication to equitable access make her a true changemaker in the EV industry. I am excited to see how Dunamis Charge will continue to transform the landscape of EV infrastructure and make electric vehicles a reality for everyone.Dunamis Charge is conducting a regulated investment crowdfunding offering on Rise Up Crowdfunding.tl;dr:1. Guest Introduction and Topic Overview: Devin introduces Natalie King, the CEO of Dunamis Charge, emphasizing her role in the electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure industry in Detroit. They discuss the growing demand and the issues around EV adoption and charging infrastructure.2. Challenges in EV Adoption: Natalie explains the "chicken and egg" issue with EV adoption and charging infrastructure. Despite investments, the anticipated growth rate for EV adoption has not been met, causing some to pull back on infrastructure investments. However, she sees this as an opportunity for Dunamis Charge to address range anxiety and ensure reliable EV infrastructure.3. Focus on Equity and Inclusion: Dunamis Charge aims to bring EV infrastructure to underserved and underrepresented communities. Leveraging initiatives like the Inflation Reduction Act and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, Natalie speaks about promoting environmental justice and ensuring all communities benefit from EV infrastructure.4. Community Engagement and Education: Natalie discusses the "Communities in Charge" program, which partners with organizations to bring EV education and charging solutions to faith-based and nonprofit groups. This initiative includes educating communities about the benefits of EV adoption and providing information on incentives and economic opportunities.5. Company Growth and Future Plans: Natalie highlights Dunamis Charge's progress, including a forecast for significant revenue growth and ongoing efforts to expand their EV charging solutions across various states. The discussion also covers the company's crowdfunding campaign on Rise Up Crowdfunding to enable broader community investment and support for their mission. How to Develop Faith As a SuperpowerNatalie King's superpower is her unwavering faith. This faith has guided her through numerous challenges in the clean energy technology space, particularly as a minority woman in a field with few peers. Her faith propels her to persevere, innovate, and give back to the community, even when the path ahead is unclear.Natalie shared a compelling story about her struggle to secure capital for Dunamis Charge. Despite numerous banks praising her business concept and her vision, they repeatedly turned her down due to various reasons. This recurring disappointment was challenging, but her faith kept her determined. Natalie believes that resources follow passion and vision, which eventually helped her overcome these financial hurdles.Tips for Developing the Superpower:* Persevere Through Challenges: Keep moving forward even when the path is unclear and obstacles arise.* Maintain a Vision: Have a clear vision of your goals and believe in them, even if others do not immediately see the potential.* Seek Support: Connect with people and organizations that believe in your mission and can offer support.* Prepare in Advance: Secure resources before you need them to avoid last-minute challenges.* Trust the Process: Have faith that if you are doing what you are meant to do, everything will eventually work out.By following Natalie's example and advice, you can make faith a skill. With practice and effort, you could make it a superpower that enables you to do more good in the world.Remember, however, that research into success suggests that building on your own superpowers is more important than creating new ones or overcoming weaknesses. Oftentimes Christians are afraid to witness to people because we are afraid of rejection or we do not know what to say however, we should share what is in the Bible. People try to do different techniques they learn in churches or evangelism classes not realizing that many of the things that are taught on witnessing/evangelism are man made tactics. When we witness we can and should be led by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will lead us to who we are to approach, what we should say, and give us discernment. The Holy Spirit can also bless us with the gift of prophecy or a word of knowledge when we share the Gospel. We have been taught churches to regurgitate things as if they are in the Bible when they are not even Biblical. The sinners prayer is not in the Bible and neither Jesus nor anyone in the New Testament ever led anyone in the sinners prayer yet we have ministers and Christians lead people in the sinners prayer when that was something the early church never did. In part one of this message Pastor Wigfall teaches on sharing the Gospel message by relying on the Holy Spirit and not carnal tactics.
