In the incarnation of Jesus we observe the arrival of our rescuer & with Him hope, peace, joy, and love, as we live in longing expectation for the world to come.
Through the flesh & death of Christ, coupled with His resurrection, Jesus destroys the devil opening the door to freedom from fear for the oppressed.
There is opportunity for joy in spite of suffering as our faithful God preserves, strengthens, and provides stability as we stand on His promises.
The Lord rightfully judges the sin of the wicked, while reinforcing hope for the righteous as He fills the world with His knowledge.
The righteous walk by faith, believing God's promise to judge the greedy and the wicked at the appointed time.
God is desiring submission to His work to judge wickedness for the sake of the advance of righteousness even this results in suffering. Our God is holy and everlasting. His ways are great and while we may not always understand them, we can trust them.
Christ casts out fear replacing it with amazement of our King who comes to and keeps us.
The word of God satisfies in a way in which the things of this world will not.
Our sympathetic savior Jesus, knowledgeable of our brokenness confronts us in our despair revealing Himself as our only hope.
God purposes to draw the dead and dying to himself, healing by the power of his word.
Jesus fulfills the old covenant establishing a new bringing transformation, purification & joyful celebration.
In a world of consequence, God persists in His promise to sen an eternal king who transforms creation & our relationship with its redeemer.
Death remains constant, while unexpected blessing & adoption, securing hope in God's purpose to multiply His people & establish His eternal kingdom.
The generosity of God informs our generosity and how we receive from the gracious.
Knowing truth about God enables us to trust Him despite the circumstances of life.
Do I trust, believe and rely upon the provision and mercy of God in light of hardship and trial?
God lifts the needy from brokenness & despair... demonstrated through Joseph's to authority as God works to suppress death & sustain His people.
The cupbearer forgets Joseph but joseph doesn't forget his dreams nor does God forget us while also providing us with practices that help remember HIm.
Compassion & a commitment to truth captivates Joseph's heart as his prison sentence continues with no immediate end in sight.
Regardless of season or circumstance, the presence of the Lord and His steadfast love guides and sustains Jospeh.
When confronted of his sin by Tamar, Judah responds with humble repentance, evidence of God's commitment to transform.
God preserves Joseph's life in spite of his brothers evil actions positioning him to fulfill his purpose in God's divine plan to rescue & raise up a people.
We elevate Esau's sin so that we are not challenged nor discomforted by his sin and ours.
The persistence of God provides opportunity for obedience, worship and perspective. This does not however negate the residual effects of sin.
Reconciliation with others must be preceded by reconciliation with God.
By gospel transformation, as we move along, we begin to reflect God's heart more & more as we were created to do.
We see God's work to put within His people a desire for reconciliation within broken relationships that will consequently brings Him an incredible amount of glory.
The more like Christ we become the more sin in the world frustrates us.
Everything that is not of God raises itself up against God even in the life of the Christian.
What does it look like to live in a world with consequences while at the same time holding to certain fulfillment of His plan for the future?
God's Presence is to serve as a source of unparalleled comfort leading separated people to worship Him.
Sins consequence being judgement, yet there is blessing who look to and trust in Christ.
The grace of God to rescue does not triumph because of us, but in spite of us.
Only God can produce faithful God honoring Spirit powered obedience.
God is at work producing life from death in spite of human deception and wickedness.
The Word of God produces from beginning to end is a testimony of God's goodness, generosity, and trustworthiness.
Strength for practice of a life of faith is rooted in a bold confidence of the nature of our creator God.
