In this first week of the "God With Us" series, we reflect on the awe-inspiring truth of John 1:14—"The Word became flesh and dwelt among us." This message explores how Jesus, the eternal Word who created all things (Colossians 1:15-17, John 1:3), came into the brokenness of humanity to bring light and life. Through Isaiah 55:10-11 and Ephesians 2:8, we see how God's Word accomplishes His purpose, offering grace and salvation to all who believe. Dive into the significance of Christ's incarnation, His rejection by the world (John 3:19), and the transformative power of receiving Him as Savior (John 1:12).For more information about Integrity Church, visit our website, http://liveintegritychurch.org Connect with us on social media throughout the week to stay up to date on events and things happening at Integrity! The focus of the message today is a series of teachings and encounters with many who would consider themselves as the enemy of Jesus—people who were hurling false accusations and unfounded theories on who He was. These accounts of the rejection of Jesus are interspersed with snippets from those who received Him in a positive…

Not all the Jews rejected Christ, but many of the spiritual leaders were against Him because they had no spiritual discernment and they perceived Him as a threat to their position. There were also many people who only followed Jesus for self-serving reasons. The rejection of Christ was foretold by God and there are still many people today who will not hear. The Apostle Paul is an example of one called by God, who rejected Christ until God turned him around. In the end, God will have those He desires to have whether Jew or Gentile. Morning Worship Sermon with Rev. Bud Hance Scripture reference Isaiah 53:1-3 The Sin-Bearing Messiah 1 Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? 2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. 3 He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

As a believer we are witnesses by the change in our lives, (as well as others who knew us-as an old creation) coming out of darkness and into the marvelous light of Christ. The witness of the change in our lives should always point to the witness of Jesus for their lives also. And even though we can be a witness for Him, and even though people may not believe our witness of Him, rejecting Him only keeps those who do, from receiving His gift of Abundant Life. Believing in Him or not doesn't change who He is or what he's done. As 2 Timothy 2:13 notes, "If we are faithless, He remains faithful. He can't deny Himself."Jesus has a greater Witness than man who validates Him, and Jesus also validates the only True God. Dr. Joe Boot of the Ezra Institute in Canada joined me for a powerful hour of discussion about the recently passed bill in Canada, C4, which bans -conversion therapy.- It is, in reality, a ban on any speech or counsel that would assist a person who is seeking to live in accordance with God's ways who wishes to be delivered from homosexuality or transgenderism. It is a thoroughly theological law based upon rebellion against God. It goes into effect around January 8th, so Dr. Boot and others in Canada are asking all faithful churches to join them in standing against this godless attack upon the faith. Paul struggled to understand why his own people rejected the Messiah. His conclusion was surprising: it was part of the plan of God that the Jewish people did not accept the Christ. Why? And does this mean that they had no choice? What will happen to the Jews in the future? Join us as we continue in the book of Romans with a discussion of chapter11 and conclude Paul's thoughts on the Jewish rejection of Jesus.

After years of evangelization, in Romans 9 Paul expresses his deep anguish over the fact that most Jews have not accepted Jesus as the Messiah. Since the Messiah was promised to the Jewish people and God is faithful to His promises, why did most Jews reject the Lord's Messiah?

A two thousand year period of waiting and waste took place between the rejection of Christ and His acceptance
Apostasy is probably the most serious of all sins. It is an intentional withdrawal or defection from Christ and His Gospel – a clear rejection of Biblical truth.
Christ was rejected so that we could be accepted.
The life of Christ on His way to the cross was continually misunderstood and rejected of men.

Rev. Randy Martin • Psalm 2:1-12 and Acts 4:23-31 Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and against his Anointed, saying, “Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us.” He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision. Then he will speak to them in his wrath, and terrify them in his fury, saying, “As for me, I have set my King on Zion, my holy hill.” I will tell of the decree: The LORD said to me, “You are my Son; today I have begotten you. Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron and dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.” Now therefore, O kings, be wise; be warned, O rulers of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, for his wrath is quickly kindled. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.
Isaiah well said of the life of Christ- He -was- despised and rejected of men- a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief- and we hid as it were our faces from him- he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Scripture:Mark 6:11 And whoever will not receive you nor hear you, when you depart from there, shake off the dust under your feet as a testimony against them. Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!Transcript:And now, Admonition, brought to you by the Collierville Church of Christ.Mark 6:11 we read, And whoever will not receive you nor hear you when you depart from there, shake off the dust under your feet as a testimony against them. Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the Day of judgment than for that city. Jesus says, if you reject my message, if you reject what I send out through my messengers, it's going to be more tolerable for Sodom than for you. These people would have seen the miracles he did. They would witness the healings and the things and the miracles that the disciples did, and he says, if you reject the message, judgment's coming upon you. We need to learn this lesson and we need to teach people that there's a fearful judgment ahead if they reject the message of God.For more from the Collierville Church of Christ, visit Colliervillecoc.org.
One of the most popular parables told by the Lord Jesus Christ is known as the 'Parable of the Talents' where a nobleman goes on a journey to a far country to receive a kingdom, leaving his servants with different amounts of money to use while he was gone. There is an interesting detail that Jesus mentioned in this story - the citizens of the country REJECTED the nobleman saying, "We will not have this man to reign over us." Why did Jesus mention this point? Well, you know, that is exactly what people were saying about HIM! Many did not want Him to rule as a king over them. Is it any different today? Is it any different for YOU?
