Conscious Moms S2 E7: Mom Math

Play Episode Listen Later Mar 13, 2024 45:55

If you think Calculus, Trigonometry, or Algebra is hard, wait until you calculate Mom Math! See Mom Math is a completely different beast in that there are no tried and true formulas that work across the board, what x equals today may not be what x equals tomorrow. Mom Math is very tricky. See with regular math there is usually a formula to follow to account for variations that are predictable. With motherhood, there are some things that happen that never could've been predicted. See with Mom Math you have to account for attitudes that you have no idea when will end sometimes, pottying, accidents, food spills, traffic, forgetting a favorite toy or stuffy, wanting a snack, etc. All of these things play a factor in determining the amount of time it will take you to do anything you need to do, especially if on time constraints. So say you have an event at 10am, what time do you have to get up to ensure everything is done and you arrive on time? Ha! That is the question! See Mom Math is just backwards math that accounts for many variables and tasks that need to be completed prior to leaving your origin to arrive at your destination in an adequate fashion...hopefully on time. Personally, we feel like Mom Math should be an Olympic sport because it takes skills to do it right! So moms, we see you and we applaud you for the excellent job you do day in and day out showing off your Mom Math skills. So if you have a mom friend and she a.) attends your event and b.) is on time to your event, please give her all the praise because that is EFFORT!!!Where we‘re not perfect, just trying to be more conscious.Artie Brown Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/dr.artiebrown/Sara Pollock Dickson Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/big_uhsassypantz/Auntie Allison - https://www.instagram.com/iamallisonkimbrough/For sponsorship opportunities please contact us! consciousmoms.la@gmail.com or check out our instagram https://www.instagram.com/consciousmoms.la/
