Hosted by Tom and John, this dynamic duo brings a refreshing perspective to the community and truly cares about their listeners and fellow enthusiasts.
One of the best aspects of The Five0 Asylum podcast is undoubtedly the Foxbody talk. These guys know their stuff when it comes to these iconic vehicles, and their in-depth discussions will leave any fan of Foxbodies craving for more. Whether they're talking about modifications, restoration tips, or just sharing personal stories, Tom and John's knowledge and passion for these cars shines through in every episode.
But it's not just about cars with The Five0 Asylum podcast. What sets them apart is their fantastic chemistry and comedic timing. The dynamics between Tom and John are absolutely hilarious, often leaving listeners rolling on the floor with laughter. Their witty banter keeps the podcast engaging and entertaining throughout, making it a joy to listen to.
Furthermore, these guys aren't afraid to get real and tell it like it is. They're not here to sugarcoat things or give false information; they speak from experience and provide honest opinions. This authenticity adds depth to the podcast and creates a strong connection between hosts and listeners.
However, no podcast is without its flaws, albeit few for The Five0 Asylum. Occasionally, some episodes may lack a clear structure or focus, which can make them feel slightly disjointed at times. Additionally, while the Foxbody talk is incredible, fans of other car models may feel left out as there isn't much variety in terms of vehicle topics covered.
In conclusion, The Five0 Asylum podcast is a must-listen for any automotive enthusiast who appreciates great humor and genuine passion for cars. Tom and John's camaraderie combined with their extensive knowledge of Foxbodies make for an entertaining and informative podcast that will leave you eagerly awaiting each new episode. This week, we want to take the opportunity to revisit one of our favorite episodes, #17 with Scot Weeves. Originally posted on 12 February 2023, Scot's episode immediately became one of our favorites. Scot is a decorated combat veteran who was severely wounded overseas. While recovering, Scot leveraged his circumstances to gain his wife's permission to purchase “one more” fox, to… “aid” in his recovery. Scot is hilarious, and his story speaks to how a car build can help one recover and move forward with their life. This episode also has to contain the absolute best of all time “Fast 10”. Fast forward to the present day; Scot's Coupe is a well-known Fox. His signature (custom mix ) blue with bronze wheels identifies this car from miles away.We hope you guys enjoy the reposting of this episode. *****************************************************************Episode 17.) We start the episode this week with John on a tear. Some internet trolls ruffled his feathers and he lets us know about it. This week's guest of honor is Scot Weev's, a certified American Hero! You probably know his coupe by its signature orangey brown interior and custom one-off dark blue paint. Scot discusses the traumatic circumstance that led to the building of his Notch he affectionately calls Monica, and how it was cathartic during his recovery. This episode has plenty of humor, from the origin of the name “Monica” to John impressing us with his Fast 10 and we discover that John is easily distracted by “penguin noises”. We think you are really going to enjoy this one. Sit back, relax, and tell your friends about it! Enjoy the show.
