He has fond memories of watching “ Unsolved Mysteries “ with his grandfather and recalls being VERY spooked by the UFO and Ghost Stories. In elementary school , he had an experience that would change his life. He, his classmates and teacher all had a UFO encounter and from that point onward, he became obsessed with reading books from the library about Encounters stories with UFOs, Cryptids and Ghosts! His curiosity never left him. He went on to start The Spooky Appalachia Blog where he collected paranormal stories from people. This evolved into a successful YouTube Channel which covers classic tales from Appalachia, as well as a Cryptid series and various stories from his followers . Every now and then you can expect to find him on location sharing historical and spooky stories! Jared: Jared grew up in a rustic log cabin deep in the Appalachian Mountains of East Tennessee. He always loved being around his elders and listening to their stories of History. His favourites were the tales of The SPOOKY Ghost (Haint) , The Witch, Cryptid (Wood Booger) and Feral People stories. He was once asked to share a story on a friend's YouTube channel, which was beyond well received. People wanted more and Jared delivered by starting up his own YouTube channel “Jared King TV” which took off like a bullet with continued success and a large follower base. He began sharing historical stories from his family as well as allowing others to submit their family stories and their own personal Spooky Encounters. With a unique voice and an old, authentic Appalachian Mountain accent he went on to host and do special guest appearances at events, festivals, and do voice work for "Sons Of Appalachia" what used to be "Mountain Monsters" on TV. He came across Spooky Appalachia, truly enjoyed it and contacted Jimmy. What does it take to win a competitive retail LOI today?Retail leases are moving fast again, and in East Tennessee, they are moving faster than most people think is possible.Chris Ressa talks with Lindsey Barden, founder of Dark Horse CRE, a tenant-rep-only broker covering Knoxville, Chattanooga, and the Tri-Cities. Her view from the ground is simple: vacancy is extremely low, the best spaces trade off-market, and retailers are routinely battling multiple LOIs for the same box. In the past six months, Lindsey says 80-to-90 percent of her deals have been competitive, forcing brands to show up ready to commit, pay closer to asking, and cut through internal red tape.Landlords are prioritizing certainty and speed, especially in second-generation space. Born in Blount County, Hut Amerine grew into one of East Tennessee's most notorious moonshiners. After the Civil War, federal whiskey taxes ignited a bitter conflict between mountain distillers and revenue agents. Accused in the fatal shooting of a federal officer, Amerine became the target of an intense manhunt, spoke publicly in his own defense, escaped jail twice, and ultimately vanished. Ian and Charity Rutter of R&R Fly Fishing, fly-fishing guides in Townsend, Tennessee. Ian will be part of an upcoming event at Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro, where he will display his fine art alongside Grammy-nominated musician Daniel Kimbro. The event, “Echoes of Appalachia,” includes a multi-course Appalachian dinner by Chef Jeff Carter and wine pairings by sommelier Michelle LaBorde. It will take place Jan. 22 at Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro in Townsend. The evening is a celebration of craft, creativity and community. He has garnered notoriety in filmmaking, radio, music, stand up comedy, professional wrestling and acting. In 2013, the Maryville Daily Times did a piece on Vineyard, suggesting that he possibly is the most interesting man in East Tennessee shortly after he won his party's nomination for state representative.
