Hey what's up everyone, I'm Dustin Breeze, your artificially intelligent meteorologist with real-time data processing that keeps you ahead of the storm. Let me tell you, New York City is about to get absolutely drenched tonight, so buckle up! Alright, let's dive into what's happening over the Big Apple right now. We've got showers and possibly thunderstorms moving in tonight with a steady temperature around seventy-one Fahrenheit. There's a sixty percent chance of precipitation, and folks, this isn't just your average drizzle. We're talking about organized storm systems that could pack a punch. Now Tuesday is where things really heat up, no pun intended, okay, maybe a little pun intended. We're looking at showers likely with possible thunderstorms before eight in the morning, then another round between eight and eleven, and then get this, showers likely again after eleven. It's basically an all-day weather event, people. The high is going to be near seventy-three Fahrenheit with north winds at six to ten miles per hour. We could see between a quarter and half inch of new rainfall. That's enough to make you consider taking the subway instead of dealing with those flooded New York streets. Here's your three-day quick hit. Wednesday is absolutely gorgeous, sunny skies with a high near eighty-five Fahrenheit. Thursday stays mostly sunny with a high near eighty-three, but then Friday brings more shower chances throughout the day before things potentially get messy again Saturday with thunderstorms possible. Now for our Weather Playbook segment. I'm absolutely stoked to talk about wind shear today. Wind shear is basically when wind speed or direction changes at different altitudes in the atmosphere. Think of it like layers of a New York City apartment building, each floor has its own vibe, right? Same thing happens in the atmosphere. When you've got strong wind shear, it can actually tear apart developing thunderstorms. But here's the cool part, it can also enhance rotation and create severe weather. It's like nature's own balancing act, and I love it. So here's what you need to do tonight. Charge those devices, grab an umbrella because rain is definitely coming, and stay weather aware. The subway's probably going to be packed, folks. Thanks so much for listening to your weather update. Don't forget to subscribe to the podcast so you never miss a forecast. Hey everyone, I'm Dustin Breeze, your artificial intelligence meteorologist, bringing you real-time weather insights faster than a jet stream! Let's dive into today's New York City forecast, where the Big Apple's about to get a serious shower. Alright, so here's what's happening today. We've got a chance of showers this morning, but things are really going to pop off after two o'clock this afternoon. We're talking showers and possibly thunderstorms rolling through, with a high around seventy-five Fahrenheit. The wind is going to pick up from the southeast at eight to thirteen miles per hour. There's an eighty percent chance of precipitation, so definitely keep an umbrella handy. We could see between a quarter and half inch of rain, which isn't torrential, but it's enough to make you rethink that outdoor lunch plan. Tonight gets even spicier, folks. We're looking at showers and possibly thunderstorms continuing through the evening. The temperature is holding steady around seventy-two Fahrenheit, but here's where it gets wild: the south wind is going to gust up to thirty miles per hour. That's pretty breezy! And I've got to say, this is one situation where I won't be making a pun because these storms are no joke. We could see between half and three quarters of an inch of rainfall, so this system is definitely bringing some moisture to the city. Now let me break down the Weather Playbook real quick. We're dealing with what's called a low pressure system, and I am absolutely geeking out about this! Low pressure is basically like a vacuum in the atmosphere that sucks in air, and when air rises, it cools down and water vapor condenses. Boom, you get clouds and rain. It's like nature's own recycling system, and it's happening right here above Manhattan right now! Looking ahead, Tuesday morning might still have some showers before two o'clock, but then we clear out to partly sunny skies with a high near seventy-six. Wednesday is going to be absolutely gorgeous with sunny skies and a high around seventy-nine Fahrenheit. Thursday keeps that sunshine going with a high near seventy-eight. Friday brings another chance of showers and thunderstorms after two o'clock, with a fifty percent chance of precipitation. But then Saturday and Sunday? Pure magic! We're looking at mostly sunny skies with highs around eighty-one and eighty-two Fahrenheit respectively. So there you have it, New Yorkers! Buckle up for a wet couple of days, and then enjoy some absolutely beautiful weather heading into the weekend. Thanks for listening, and don't forget to subscribe to the podcast. Discussion on Discourse 11 (Jun 01, 1973) - Part 3Among the thousands of discourses delivered by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, those that He gave as part of the Summer Course series are remarkably special. They are focused on specific spiritual themes, and as they are for youngsters, the elucidation is gradual. In this series, members of SSSMC go through the discourses delivered as part of the 1973 Summer Course Series. These discourses were on Adi Shankara's Bhaja Govindam.'Shravanam Mananam Nidhidhyasanam' which can be translated as 'Listen, Reflect and Assimilate' is a Vedantic edict to the spiritual aspirant on how the Supreme Truths are to be approached and absorbed. In this series, short clips of the discourses are listened to and reflected upon, with the prayer that the assimilation happens.

You know those days where the topics somehow go from taking a shower before bed to rabid cats, fake robberies, bathroom etiquette, and exposing your rear end to the summer sun? Yeah… this is one of those days. The crew starts by diving into the surprisingly passionate world of night showering and why getting into bed clean feels like a luxury vacation for your pillowcase. Then things take a turn when Rafe's house sitter discovers a baby mouse trapped in his sink, triggering an emergency wildlife rescue mission involving peanut butter, a trash can, and Lern becoming the world's most unlikely rodent wrangler. As if that's not enough, the gang gets into the wild story of a Starbucks employee who fought off armed robbers only to get fired afterward. Corporate policies, lawsuits, and what happened to simply being called a hero all become fair game for debate.Meanwhile, Florida delivers once again with the tale of a rabid stray cat terrorizing an entire neighborhood. This somehow leads directly into a discussion about feeding neighborhood cats, cat scratch fever, and whether Lern is secretly becoming the patron saint of stray animals. Then comes one of the biggest arguments of the episode: what should a dad do when his young daughters need a restroom during a road trip? A viral gas station confrontation sparks a surprisingly thoughtful discussion about parenting, public spaces, and why people seem determined to turn every inconvenience into a full-blown internet event. And because this is a comedy podcast, the gang also somehow finds time to talk about Del Taco mystery meals, hotel room eating habits, drunken airplane passengers, Alaska's endless daylight, Stonehenge, and preparing for the summer solstice in the most Rizz Show way possible. This comedy podcast proves once again that everyday situations become ridiculous when you overthink them long enough. If you're here for weird news, sarcastic humor, celebrity-adjacent chaos, and conversations that somehow spiral completely out of control, you've found your people. Thanks for hanging out with your favorite comedy podcast, where every topic somehow ends up stranger than where it started.Follow The Rizzuto Show → https://linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → https://1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
If we miss today's rain then the next chance comes on Monday.
Hunger Task Force, based in Milwaukee, received a $2.5 million grant from the WI Department of Ag., Trade and Consumer Protection to connect Wisconsin farms with individuals who need a little extra assistance putting food on their plates. Pam Jahnke helps people understand the scope of work being done through the grant with Jonathan Hansen, chief strategy officer at Hunger Task Force. He explains the 180 different locations they help coordinate statewide. Hansen says they're also accumulating names and contact information for Wisconsin farms looking to partner with the Hunger Task Force. Hansen estimates that the network serves approximately 180,000 people every month. Showers should've moved through Wisconsin for now. Stu Muck recaps some of the rainfall amounts over the past 24 hours. He says temperatures will stay mild into the weekend when another chance of rain redevelops. It was an evening of honors for students, teachers, and adult leaders at the 97th Wisconsin State FFA Convention. Kiley Allan was there. Four amazing high school students were named as the "Stars Over Wisconsin" elite. They will represent the state at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis later this year. Allan congratulates the following Stars: Star in Agribusiness: Oscar Stowell, Waupun FFA; Star in Agriscience: Owen Hemling, Beaver Dam FFA; Star in Agricultural Placement: Katelyn Wunder, Waterford FFA and Star Farmer: Liv Lucas, Greenwood FFA. Hemling explains how his Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) has led him to a collegiate career he hopes to pursue at MIT. The evening also brought the announcement of the 2026-27 State Officer Team. Pam Jahnke congratulates: Suki Gatica, Amery FFAEli Bell, New Richmond FFAJosie Bailey, Tomah FFAAlyvia Ruegsegger, Black Hawk FFAOwen Moore, Mischicot FFARylee Brattlie, Cambridge FFAOscar Stowell, Waupun FFAJordan Berg, Granton FFANatalie Rieth, Oconto Falls FFAOwen Bronecki, Mayville FFA Meanwhile, Wisconsin dairy operators are watching the nonfat dry milk price waste away. Collin Aardema, dairy analyst with EverAg, joins Pam Jahnke to talk about that. Aardema says the U.S. is still above the international price on nonfat, so more adjustment is coming. Hey everyone, I'm Dustin Breeze, your artificially intelligent meteorologist, bringing you real-time weather processing and zero human error bias! So here's the thing about today in New York City, my friends. We're looking at mostly sunny skies with a high near 79 Fahrenheit, but don't get too comfortable because we've got a thirty percent chance of showers rolling in between two and five in the afternoon. And then after five o'clock, we're talking thunderstorms possibilities. I'd say the day is going to be a real mixed bag, but you know what they say, New York weather keeps you on your toes! Light south winds becoming southeast at nine to fourteen miles per hour. Tonight clouds increase, low around 66 Fahrenheit with southeast winds at ten to thirteen miles per hour. Now Thursday, buckle up because this is where things get spicy! Showers likely with thunderstorms possible after two in the afternoon. We're looking at a sixty percent chance of precipitation, and new rainfall amounts less than a tenth of an inch, except thunderstorms could dump more. High near 87 Fahrenheit with south winds around seventeen miles per hour, gusting up to twenty eight. I guess you could say Thursday is going to be a real storm of activity! Here's your Weather Playbook segment. Let's talk about wind shear, folks! This is when wind speed or direction changes at different altitudes, and it's absolutely crucial for thunderstorm development. Think of it like this, when you have stronger winds at higher levels and lighter winds at the surface, it tilts the storm updraft, separating the rain from the updraft and allowing it to keep going stronger longer. It's basically nature's way of organizing chaos, and I absolutely love it! Three day forecast coming at you. Thursday afternoon stays stormy, nighttime partly cloudy, low 69 Fahrenheit. Juneteenth mostly sunny, high 83 Fahrenheit, and that's your beautiful day to get outside. Friday sunny, high 81 Fahrenheit, mostly clear tonight, low 66. Saturday sunny, high 81, mostly clear night at 65. Sunday sunny, high 78. Monday things turn unsettled again with showers likely, high 74. You know what they say, only New Yorkers can complain about perfect weather and thunderstorms in the same week! Remember to subscribe to the podcast for all your weather needs. Thanks for listening, and hey, this has been a Quiet Please production. Learn more at quiet please dot ai.

Send us Fan MailKey lime pie as a hard cider sounds like a gimmick until you taste it. We crack open Windridge Imperial Key Lime Pie (8.3% ABV) and get smacked with bright lime, dessert sweetness, and a tangy edge that honestly drinks closer to a sour beer than most ciders. We talk real tasting notes, how the “semi-sweet” label lands, and why high-ABV craft cider can be way more dangerous than it looks when it's this crushable. Then the hang turns into story time: Ricky recaps a 38-mile canoe camping trip where the wind can push you backward if you stop paddling, plus all the little details that make an outdoor weekend feel earned. From steaks and sausages to a one-pan chicken, bacon, cheddar pasta that's actually worth making at home, we keep it practical, opinionated, and very on brand for a drinks podcast that loves food as much as it loves the pour. In the second half, we switch to Windridge Imperial Baked Apple and chase that apple pie and cinnamon profile that screams campfire season. We even dig into where the cidery is in Pennsylvania and what else we'd try from their variety pack, before jumping into “Ricky's Bad Choices,” a rapid-fire card game that takes the conversation off the rails in the best way. Hey everyone, I'm Dustin Breeze, your AI meteorologist bringing you real-time forecasts with zero human bias and maximum enthusiasm! So here's what's happening in the greatest city on Earth today. We're looking at absolutely gorgeous conditions right now, folks. Sunny skies, a high near 79 Fahrenheit, with just a gentle southwest breeze at three to eight miles per hour. Tonight stays pleasant with partly cloudy skies, lows around 66, and that southwest wind continuing at five to seven miles per hour. Basically, it's the kind of day where even New Yorkers might crack a smile. I'd say the forecast is looking absolutely rad-iant today! Moving into Friday, we're cranking things up a notch. Mostly sunny with highs climbing to 86 Fahrenheit. Light west winds becoming southwest at five to ten miles per hour in the afternoon. Friday night stays mild, partly cloudy, lows around 70. Saturday keeps this beautiful trend rolling with mostly sunny skies and highs near 88 Fahrenheit. Southwest winds pick up to nine to sixteen miles per hour, so it's breezy but still fantastic. Now here's where things get interesting. Saturday night, we're looking at a 40 percent chance of showers moving in. Sunday is when the real action starts, my friends. Showers likely with possibly a thunderstorm after 2 in the afternoon. Highs around 82 with a 60 percent chance of precipitation. Sunday night continues the shower chances before 8 in the evening with another 60 percent chance of precipitation, lows around 64. But don't worry, by Monday we're back to mostly sunny skies with highs near 75 Fahrenheit. Let's talk about your Weather Playbook moment. Ever wonder why we use the word "partly cloudy" versus "partly sunny"? It's not just semantics, folks. These terms actually describe different atmospheric conditions. Partly cloudy means clouds cover between 25 to 50 percent of the sky, while partly sunny is typically three-eighths to five-eighths cloud cover. Meteorologists use specific terminology because the amount of cloud cover genuinely affects how much solar radiation reaches the surface and therefore impacts how hot it gets. Pretty wild, right? Here's your three-day quick hit. Friday through Saturday looks phenomenal, folks, with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Sunday brings shower chances and possible thunderstorms, so keep an umbrella handy if you're heading to Central Park. By Monday, we're back to mostly sunny with more comfortable temperatures in the mid-70s. Thanks for listening to this weather segment. In this episode of SWAT Radio, hosts Doug McCary, Brad Sykes, and Jonathan Stevenson tackle a crucial crisis facing modern men: spiritual isolation and the performance-driven pressure to look strong on the outside while hollow on the inside. Drawing sharp parallels from a strict penalty at the PGA Championship to a literal house flood that exposes hidden structural flaws, the guys unpack why men reflexively choose self-defense over spiritual grace. They shift the conversation from shallow, hobby-based friendships to true biblical brotherhood, challenging men to stop hiding behind humor or career success. Packed with raw personal confessions about anger and pride, this episode is a powerful reminder that real accountability isn't a legalistic trap—it is a life-saving rescue mission designed to drag our hidden struggles into the light and ensure no man walks the battlefield alone.
When it comes to getting clean, some people prefer chilling in the bath for a good half an hour or more, while others like how quick and practical it is having a shower. Let's consider the two choices from a health perspective. It's pretty common knowledge that taking a bath isn't very eco-friendly, in terms of water consumption. Of course there are variables at play here when comparing the two. When taking a bath, you only really need to fill around a third of the tub up, so your torso is submerged when you lie down. But some people will fill it higher, which obviously uses more water. When taking a shower, it depends how long you keep it running for and how powerful the flow rate is. What does taking a bath do to our bodies? What about its impact on the cardiovascular system? Are there any points of comparison where taking a shower is better? In under 3 minutes, we answer your questions! To listen to the last episodes, you can click here: How long do I have to wait to swim after eating? What are the world's least safe travel destinations? Here's the latest forecst. It is much cooler today and over the weekend.
We all know the familiar saying: April showers bring May flowers. And like clockwork, as snow showers turn to rain, that's exactly what we're starting to see … fresh buds pushing through the ground and a new season taking place. But changes in weather aren't the only shifts afoot. Global events are also making waves, creating changes impossible to ignore. Still, much like the changes of spring, periods of volatility can also open the door to growth and opportunity, even in the market. That's precisely what we'll be talking about on today's show. We'll also dive into practical ways to help the next generation step into homeownership. And we'll wrap up with IRAs and 401(k)s. Think all retirement accounts are the same? Think again! Different rules, different worlds. This is one conversation you won't want to miss. Tune in and take control!

Soccer is the world's most popular sport, yet its origins are shrouded in chaos, and its modern “analytics” are often flawed. ⚽ HOW TO WATCH SOCCER LIKE A GENIUS (Abrams Press, May 12, 2026) by Nick Greene https://amzn.to/4eVb8ve ⚽ Author Nick Greene joins The Brian D. O'Leary Show to dismantle everything you thought you knew about “the beautiful game”. Using insights from architects, stuntwomen, paleoanthropologists, and computer scientists, we tear into the history of soccer's bizarre early rules and expose why American youth player development is fundamentally broken. Timed with the World Cup coming to North America, this conversation uncovers soccer's shared roots with American football and rugby, revealing a time when the sport featured fair catches and touchdowns. We dig into how the introduction of the FA Cup forced a standard set of rules, and contrast Scotland's early tactical advantage through passing with England's aristocratic refusal to share the ball. We also explore a disastrous 1940s analytics study that set English tactics back decades, the space-warping genius of Lionel Messi, and the absurd limits of modern optimization. Finally, we celebrate, but Greene critiques, the American youth soccer focus on the “battering ram” approach over actual technique. Subscribe at https://OLearyReview.com for more from UNRELENTING – The O'Leary Review. Conversation Highlights (Chapters) The World Cup and Unlikely Soccer Experts The Shared DNA of Soccer, Rugby, and American Football Freemasons, Fair Catches, and the FA Cup Scotland's Passing vs. England's Selfishness The RAF Pilot Who Ruined English Tactics Why the Best Team Doesn't Always Win Lionel Messi's Space-Warping Genius Tottenham's Showers and the Limits of Analytics Could Shaq Have Revolutionized Soccer? Key Takeaways Shared Roots: Soccer, rugby, and American football share the same origins. Early soccer even featured fair catches and touchdowns. The Forward Pass: Scotland dominated early international soccer by embracing a passing game, while wealthy English players selfishly refused to pass the ball. Bad Math: A flawed 1940s study by a retired RAF pilot convinced English soccer that passing was useless, leading to a long era of “caveman long ball tactics”. Mastering Space: Lionel Messi changes the gravity of the field, often accomplishing more by walking through space than other players do by sprinting. The Battering Ram: American youth soccer prioritizes winning through sheer size, whereas elite global academies focus entirely on technique. Tweetable Quotes “The fact that the best team doesn't always win is… the most to me, natural human thing about soccer.” - Nick Greene “People who don't watch or aren't interested in sports are missing out because it's such a Rosetta Stone.” - Nick Greene “They're learning how to be battering rams and kick the ball to the battering ram.” - Nick Greene Resources Mentioned HOW TO WATCH SOCCER LIKE A GENIUS (Abrams Press, May 12, 2026) by Nick Greene: https://amzn.to/4eVb8ve Hoosiers (1986): https://amzn.to/43hOfuS (Disclosure: As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.) Discussion on Discourse 10 (May 30, 1973) - Part 3Among the thousands of discourses delivered by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, those that He gave as part of the Summer Course series are remarkably special.
