Welcome to a special episode of You Are Probably Right. I'm M C M.What you're about to hear is different. This isn't commentary. It's not a conversation. It's a story. But it's the kind of story that tells the truth in a way advice never can. It's for anyone who's ever waited a little too long. For anyone who's ever felt like they were almost chosen—but never quite enough. For anyone who's felt the ache of wanting someone who doesn't know what to do with something real.So sit down. Get quiet. And stay with it.Because this one's not just fiction. It's more than you think.A man who's always been overlooked.A woman who's always been hurt.A connection neither of them fully understands—until it's too deep to deny.Told in the form of a raw, journal-style narration, More Than You Think is a 90-minute emotional fiction story that explores what happens when patience meets fear, when kindness outlasts doubt, and when love comes not with a promise, but with a choice. It's gritty. It's quiet. It's the kind of story that sneaks up on you late at night—and stays. For anyone who's ever waited too long to be chosen.Title: More Than You ThinkEpisode Number: 253Type: Bonus Episode (optional)Season: Leave blank or “Specials” if your platform supports seasonsAuthor/Creator: M C M / You're Probably RightLanguage: English (US)Explicit: NoA quiet man. She's not what he said. She's more.In Part 2 of More Than You Think, we hear Eva's side—the backstory, the baggage, the men who never left, and the one who might've stayed too long. This is a slow unraveling, told in Eva's own voice, from behind the makeup, the money, and the mistakes. It's not an explanation. It's not an apology. It's just what happened. If you've ever kept someone in your life because they made you feel safe…If you've ever shut someone out because they saw too much…If you've ever wondered what a woman really meant when she said, “I'm fine”—This one is for you.

The power of listening is one of the most valuable skills a doula can have. Listening involves more than just hearing words—it's about creating space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. It is how deep, intentional trust is built, and it strengthens the doula-client relationship. When clients feel safe to unmask and share openly, real connections form, which allows us to create a judgment-free space, allowing clients to express their fears, preferences, and emotions without shame. This trust becomes the foundation for meaningful support throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. In this episode, we discuss practical ways to refine your listening skills, avoid common pitfalls, and ensure clients feel validated and supported. Tune in to learn how the power of listening can transform your doula practice and deepen your impact.
EPISDOE 212 The concept of micro-achievements focuses on the cumulative impact of small, consistently completed tasks on overall personal and professional development. This approach is particularly powerful because it taps into the psychological principle that achieving even minor goals can provide a substantial motivational boost in your mental health, creating a positive feedback loop that propels further successes for you. When you recognize that you have completed a micro-task, no matter how small, it triggers the release of dopamine, a neurotransmitter associated with feelings of pleasure and satisfaction. This release encourages repeated behavior, helping you to establish and reinforce new habits. Over time, these micro-achievements add up, leading to quick substantial improvements and changes in you and your engrained patterns. They can significantly improve your health, knowledge, productivity, and overall well-being. More importantly, as these small tasks become habits, they require less effort to maintain, freeing you up to pursue other goals. How do you effectively utilize micro-achievements in your own life? By focusing on micro-achievements, you can create to create a significant positive impact and a new trajectory in your own life.
