We get into Greg's life growing up and how he discovered music and what took him down the road of tour managing bands. This is a great conversation with one of the owners of Rad GF Records Josh Goldman. I kind of just stumbled on Rad GF Records and went down the rat hole and loved what I heard. They have released some well known veteran punk rock bands like The Queers, Masked Intruder and many others. As well as the veterans they keep releasing kick ass music from other really great bands as well. It was great to learn more about how the label came to be, as well as learning how Josh's own band The Raging Nathans came into existence and what keeps them going. This is the first of a few episodes where I talk to folks who work behind the scenes in the music industry. Im really excited for y'all to hear these conversations and learn more about what it takes to make the machine go. As always THANK YOU to The Sorels for providing the opening music for the show. As well as THE WPG for the continued support. We couldn't be more excited to be part of their podcast community.

Also thank you to THE WPG Magazine for bringing me into their community.
In this episode I talk to Baz. If you haven't heard of BAZ thats cool. Thats why we are all here right? Baz is a french composer, arranger and drummer. Not sure why he is french has to do with anything but it might explain the accent right? Well Baz's accomplishments include arranging a FULL ORCHESTRA for the NOFX live at the red rocks record. Thats no small feat. We get into that and so much more in this episode. Baz is also the third and final single episode before we get into a FULL LA BRATS podcast. To check out where to support BAZ check the links below: Baz Website Baz Patreon Baz Facebook LA BRATS As always huge thank you to THE SORELS for providing the opening riffage for the show. Also get over to THE WPG MAGAZINE and show them some love.
This conversation has been awhile in the making. I have been friends with Johnny for years and we always try to make a point to head down to LA to catch up with him and Annie whenever we can. I mean I have know a little bit of Johnnys musical adventure BUT this was great to really get into his past and hear some stories I didn't know. Big thank you to The Sorels for giving me the intro to the show. They have a new record out on Reta Records which you should probably go buy! Also to check out everything Johnny has coming up or has done check out the links below: Old Man Markley Tommy and June Detemple Guitars LA BRATS
In this conversation we talk to Yotam Ben Horin. Yotam is the bass player/vocalist of Useless ID, singer in Tommy and June, part of the D composers as well as a solo artist. Yotam is a busy busy fella. On top of all of the other things he is doing he is also producing music for some incredible bands. Yotam has been around for awhile and it was awesome to sit down and talk to him about his musical adventure.
In this conversation I talk to the very talented Lila. She is performing at the Phoque Off festival in Quebec city. I won't lie I had never heard about Lila before this interview and she was so open and honest it was so great. She released an EP entitle "Quiet as Fire" in 2018. Like always we explore her musical adventures and talk about what fuels her passion for music and art.
In this episode I talk to Patrick the festival programmer of Quebec cities own Le Phoque Off festival. Now this festival is a lot like our own BIG FUN festival was. A very diverse music selection everything from some punk rock to hip hop and kind of everything in-between. I also learned about Patricks music adventure and how he came to form Sexy Sloth Records and DOZE Management. I am not really sure when this guy has time to sleep!
This conversation was a long time in coming. Kayla not only the lead singer for Vagina Witchcraft but also an activist as well as a poet. We get into everything and just about anything in these two episodes. Its been incredible to watch Kayla blossom as a person and as a front person of a band.
