“You shall have no other gods before me. “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments. In this episode, I have a wholesome conversation with Reformed University Fellowship Intern Scott Moore about Idols in our culture. We addressed the root of idolatry, and we provide biblical principles to help overcome idolatry in our culture today. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/kimani-francois/support
The Immigration and Customs Enforcements announced that "Nonimmigrant F-1 and M-1 students attending schools operating entirely online may not take a full online course load and remain in the United States. The U.S. Department of State will not issue visas to students enrolled in schools and/or programs that are fully online for the fall semester nor will U.S. Customs and Border Protection permit these students to enter the United States." This is scary and freighting for many International students in the United States. International Students might not have access to the Internet and other resources needed to complete their education. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/kimani-francois/support
