It's the last episode of Season 3! Time has flown by so fast, let's reflect on this Season and also talk about what time has taught me and this period of Lockdown. My biggest hope for life after this lockdown – with so much that withered and with so much that was unveiled for us. I hope that whatever we find in this season be the light that we follow into the next season. We don't have to resume on where we left off with the previous normal but rebuild a new normal for ourselves. This is a very short episode, do enjoy. From me, keep well and keep safe. Until then, goodbye. ************************************************************************************** Don't forget to subscribe to the podcast if you haven't already, rate and review us. In the guest chair today we have Sinenhlanhla Ndlela who is the founder of Yococo dairy free ice-cream. With a background in TV writing and post-production, Sinenhlanhla taught herself how to make ice-cream and run a small business. What first intrigued me and I got to love the most is how she is able to creatively blend in parts of herself into the ice-cream making, that is her vegan lifestyle and the spiritual aspect. In our conversation, she mentions how she is fulfilled whenever she is in a place where she can serve and through Yococo she is able to serve love through scoops. This conversation was recorded months ago just after her solo-cation and you'll get to hear parts of that story. This is what we further spoke about; 1. What gave her the courage to start the business without any prior experience in ice-cream making 2. How was the ice-cream first received in the market and what were some of the challenges she encountered in getting it out there 3. What she mainly considers for her collaborative works 4. Her approach with setbacks 5. How is she able to wear many hats in her business without burning out 6. And finding purpose. I hope that you do take something from this conversation today, do enjoy. ************************************************************************************** Don't forget to subscribe to the podcast if you haven't already, rate and review us. In this episode today, that is our very first for 2020 and for the new season, I have an honest talk on what made me decide to go back to a 9-5 day job. My hope with this episode is to remove the shame or disappointment that we often feel when we have to go back to a place that we thought we were leaving for good. To really say, it's okay to do it if it is for your own personal good and growth. When things do not pan out the way we thought they would, that does not mean we should remain in one place holding on to old hopes. We have to make a move. Like I said, this for me is not a step back but one step I needed to make to enable the one going forward. Good thing though, the podcast still continues.
