God has forgiven all our debts because of Christ being nailed to the cross. And because of the resurrection we can have eternal life through Christ.
The cross changed everything. That one act gives us faith, hope, and love in the eternal father.
Our relationship with God isn't based on what we've done or not done, but in what christ has done for us.
