"What if the answer to your prayer is… you? In this message from our Dangerous Prayers series, we look at Jesus' words in Matthew 9: “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” Through story after story, we see Jesus looking at people with deep compassion—not judgment—and inviting His followers to do the same. The problem isn't that people need to be more ready for Jesus. The problem is that we need to be more ready to be Jesus to the people around us. The fields are ripe. People in our neighborhoods, workplaces, schools, families, and everyday routines need to experience the love, mercy, and grace of Jesus. So when we pray for God to send workers into the harvest, we need to be prepared for His answer: “Send me.” Are you ready to pray this dangerous prayer? Lord of the harvest, send out workers—because Frankfort is ripe for harvest. Send me." Ben Webb, Lead Minister

This week as we prepare for 7 Days of Prepare, Pastor Deron challenges us to consider fasting as part of our worship.Key Verse:Acts 13:2-3"While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, 'Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.' Then after fasting and praying they laid their hands on them and sent them off."

One of the hardest prayers for us to pray is for those we are at odds with.
Pastor Deron continues our topic of Dangerous Prayers with David's prayer in Psalm 139.

Psam 139 offers a glimpse into one of David's most dangerous prayers.
This week, Pastor Deron begins our Dangerous Prayer series, a series on how those in Bible prayed and how those same methods work today.1 Chronicles 4:9–109 Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother called his name [c]Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.” 10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my [d]territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested.
Enjoy our Dangerous Prayer "send me." Scriptures for this sermon are Romans 10:13-15 & Isaiah 6, and the message includes a special quote by Pete Greig from the 24/7 prayer movement. We hope our lives testify to what Paul says in Romans 10:15 "How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!"

What do you do with anger you can't let go of?What if the Bible actually teaches you how to pray it?In Part 3 of this conversation, John Ortberg and Rankin Wilbourne tackle one of the most difficult emotions we face: anger.Psalm 109 is one of the most shocking passages in Scripture—full of raw, unfiltered anger. So why is it in the Bible? In this episode, you'll learn:- Why denying anger isn't spiritual maturity- How the Psalms give you permission to be honest with God- What it looks like to pray your anger instead of acting on it- How anger can actually be transformed into something healing- This is Part 3 of a 3-part convo on learning to pray your emotions.

There's a difference between prayers for comfort and prayers that keep us comfortable—the ones that keep us from experiencing everything that's possible with God. Let's explore the kinds of prayers that truly shape us. By the end, you'll know the difference between prayers that keep you steady and prayers that transform you, and how to begin noticing the invitations God may already be placing in your heart. What if the reason your prayers aren't being answered… is because you're playing it too safe? After reading Dangerous Prayers, I realized most of us want the blessing without becoming the person who can actually hold it. In this episode, I talk about why bold prayers and big manifestations are supposed to stretch you, scare you, and change you. I share how asking for more isn't about the thing you want, it's about becoming the person who can hold it. Send us a textEpisode OverviewIn this episode of The Own It Show, host Justin Roethlingshoefer delivers a powerful solo message on what it truly takes to become the best version of yourself in 2026. Drawing from a decade of personal growth, leadership, and faith-driven refinement, Justin challenges the idea that transformation comes from doing more—and instead reveals why lasting change comes from doing the right things. He unpacks the difference between survival and identity, exposing why most people don't lack ambition or goals, but alignment, capacity, and character. This episode serves as a wake-up call to stop outsourcing responsibility and start intentionally becoming who you were created to be.Episode Highlights● Radical Ownership: Ownership isn't blame or shame—it's truth without defense. Transformation begins the moment you fully own your rhythms, decisions, and patterns. ● Relief vs. Change: Most people don't actually want transformation; they want relief. Ownership forces you to confront what your life is revealing about you. ● Obsessive Obedience: Growth requires radical obedience to both God and wise mentorship. Stillness, listening, and accountability unlock direction and clarity. ● The Power of Alignment: Alignment occurs when values, behaviors, schedule, and body are no longer at war with each other. Alignment must come before assignment. ● Character Before Calling: God won't bless what your character can't sustain. Capacity is built through intentional obedience and alignment over time.Action Steps● Ask yourself: “Am I becoming who I'm called to be—or just getting better at surviving?” ● Practice radical ownership by identifying one daily pattern that's working against the future version of you. ● Create stillness each day—five minutes of silence to listen before you act. ● Identify a mentor who is aligned in values, ahead of you in growth, and willing to hold you accountable. ● Audit your calendar: does it reflect what you say matters most? ● Before saying yes, ask: “Does this decision support the future version of me?” ● Choose alignment over speed—clarity, peace, and power follow obedience.Chapters00:00 Introduction — Becoming the Best Version of You in 2026 01:30 Survival vs. Identity 03:00 Why Information Doesn't Create Transformation 04:45 Radical Ownership Defined 06:00 Patterns, Responsibility, and Personal Power 07:45 The Dangerous Prayer for Character 09:15 Obsessive Obedience Explained 11:00 Stillness, Listening, and God's Direction 12:45 The Role of Mentorship and Accountability 14:30 Alignment Before Assignment 16:15 Values, Calendars, and Contradictions 18:00 Misalignment, Fatigue, and Compromise 19:45 Asking Better Questions Through Alignment 21:30 The Cost—and Reward—of Alignment 23:30 Ownership, Obedience, and Alignment in Practice 25:00 Closing Challenge — Choosing Who You're Becoming===========================Subscribe and Listen to the Own It Show HERE:➡︎ YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/@justinroethlingshoefer➡︎ Apple Podcasts:https://apple.co/3KCyN3j➡︎ Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/3F58Ez4lbIKQ6kMu2pfpIG===========================Resources:⚡️CHECK OUR PROGRAMS: https://ownitcoaching.com/programs/⚡️BOOK: https://thepowerofownershipbook.com/=========================== Connect with Justin Roethlingshoefer on Social Media:➡︎ linkedin.com/in/justin-roethlingshoefer➡︎https://www.instagram.com/justinroeth/?hl=en
