For we walk by faith, not by sight. In these eight words the apostle Paul is giving us great insight how to operate in faith and he is saying to be successful in the kingdom of God, because you have to walk by faith and not by what you see in the natural. We all have the power of God, the Holy Spirit abiding on the inside of us, ever present to empower the things that we say in faith, but the pressures of the natural realm are continually working against your faith and your confession. 2 Corinthians 4:10-12 always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. 11 For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. 12 So then death is working in us, but life in you. I get so excited reading and meditating on the word of God and to think that we are carrying around in our body the dying of the Lord Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. This is the great exchange setup by God the Father: The life of Jesus in exchange for yours He took on your sins for your redemption He took on sickness for your healing He took on poverty for your abundance He took on shame and humiliation so you could have victory
I Choose to Believe (Part 2) Believing is a choice and the word of God tells us that we have to become like children in regards to believing, because children will believe whatever their parents tell them and that’s why it is so important what we tell our kids and how we treat them and especially in regards to the things of God and the supernatural. Believing is not hard, it is just a choice. We are always given two choices when it comes to you needing a miracle. Either to believe the word of God or to accept fear. Mark 9:23 (NKJV) 23 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” If you can believe, all things or everything is possible to him or her that believes.
I Choose to Believe Believing is a choice and we have to become like children in regards to believing because children will believe whatever their parents tell them and that’s why it is so important what we tell our kids. My favorite thing to do with my children was before they went to sleep was to tell them a bible story about men and women of faith. Believing is not hard, it is just a choice.
The Anointing is Working For Me 1 John 2:27 New King James Version (NKJV) 27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. The anointing of the Holy Spirit has amazing qualities which is well beyond natural things or abilities. The anointing that you receive from Him abides in you and that same anointing teaches you concerning all things. So, when you realise this, you can begin to exercise your faith and ask the Holy Spirit to teach and instruct you regarding the issue or yoke that is hindering you. You may have been standing on two or three scriptures regarding your healing and your enemy the devil knows what to expect when you get up each day. So, ask the Holy Spirit what weapon should I use today to fight with? He may tell you to use several other of the 1,500 scriptures found in the bible on healing that you have never used before which will catch the devil off guard. He might get you to just sing worship songs for the whole morning, and that will get the devil out of your house. He may tell you to pray in tongues for an hour so He can intercede and fight for you. Maybe He will tell you to get out your scripture sword and cut the enemy up with some aggressive scriptures. The Holy Spirit is so creative that He might tell you to use the name of Jesus, or the Blood of Jesus as a weapon.
What is the anointing? Isaiah 10:27 (NKJV) 27 It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil. A burden on your shoulder is a weight designed by Satan to make you toil and to slow you down so that you can’t run the race with endurance. A yoke is designed to lock you into the same day in, day out toil which cannot be broken naturally. Galatians 5:1 (NKJV) 1Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ (the Anointed one and His anointing) has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. The anointing that was upon Jesus was the ‘Burden Removing, Yoke Destroying, Power of God’ ‘Burden Removing, Yoke Destroying, Power of God’ I have good news for you this morning, the Anointing Breaks the Yoke of sickness, disease, being broken hearted, poverty, debt and death. Your sickness is a yoke of bondage locking you to the curse which is designed to steal, kill and destroy. Not only did Jesus remove burdens and destroy yokes, He came with a different burden and a different yoke designed to empower us.
Can you have faith and unbelief at the same time? In Mark 9:14-27 The father said “I believe, help my unbelief”. Many Christians believe in healing but because of fear most don’t believe that Jesus will heal them. Fear is the enemy of faith and if you allow fear to dominate your thoughts, your faith will disappear. All fear is routed in the fear of death and the Lord tells us at least 365 times in the bible to “Fear not” or “don’t be afraid”— one “Fear not” for every day of the year! • Fear not (appears 302 times) • Do not be afraid (33 times) • Do not fear (66 times) • Do not be dismayed (99 times) • Do not worry (24 times) • I will not fear (3 times) • I will not be afraid (2 times) • Whom shall I fear? (1 times) • Be anxious for nothing (once)
Jesus wants you to have a story, to have a testimony of what He has done for you. One of the keys to moving in the Holy Spirit is telling someone, “Let me tell you what happened to me, let me tell you my story”. Ask them, “have you ever been healed?” People want to know someone they know who was healed. To receive a miracle, we have to get the seed of faith into our heart. So how do we do this? We do with our words. Learn to flip your mindset quickly and get your mind off the problem and into faith. The more time you spend focusing on your problem the larger it becomes and eventually it will become bigger than God in your mind. You should know by now that you are in a battle with an enemy who is relentless and doesn’t give in easily. Jude 3 New King James Version (NKJV) 3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. What does it mean to contend? To struggle with (a difficulty). To cope with, to face, grapple with, deal with, take on, pit oneself against. Earnestly means; with sincere and intense conviction; or seriously. We could read this scripture this way, To take on with sincere and intense conviction for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. I will make this statement: You will receive what you contend for. So, let me ask you this question this morning. What are you earnestly contending for, or have you just given up?
We are having Miracle Services here at Living Word Church, so don’t come for prayer, come for a miracle. In the ministry of Jesus have you wondered how many people came to Jesus to pray for them compared to Jesus just releasing the miracle power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus just released His faith when He spoke and, in many cases, it was the individual’s faith that released the power of the Holy Spirit. • The woman with the issue of blood– He said, “your faith has made you well” • The centurion with the sick servant – Jesus said “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour. • The 4 men carrying the paralytic - When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.” And then He said, “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” • To the 10 Lepers He said “Go show yourselves to the priest” • To Blind Bartimaeus Jesus said - “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” • There was only one account of Jesus publicly praying before releasing a miracle and it was when He raised Lazarus from the dead and this is what He prayed. “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42 And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” After He prayed, then He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” People ask me all the time to pray for them, but I want you to know, if you need a miracle, expect one and don’t expect to come for prayer. We have been praying prior to this miracle service, so now it’s up to you to release your faith and take what the Holy Spirit is releasing.
Faith Begins When The Will of God is Known Now we know from Romans 10:17 which tells us how faith comes, It says: “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”. But there is a difference between hearing the word and knowing the Word. Faith comes to you by hearing, and hearing by the word, but there are people all around the world who hear the word of God every day who still have no faith or can't release faith. Also seeing something happen like a miracle will encourage your faith and give you hope, but it will not give you faith because the word does not say "faith comes by seeing". Faith is a spiritual force and it can only be developed in your spirit or your heart and when you look at or see something with your eyes it goes into your soul which is your mind, will and emotions. When you see someone healed, there is an emotional response and that's good and correct because God created us to be emotional, but it will not build faith. There are many people who see miracles firsthand yet choose not to believe and think that the whole thing is rigged or fake. In the case of Thomas one of the apostles, he would not believe that Jesus had risen from the dead unless he saw the nail prints in His hands and the hole from the spear in His side.
As long as your faith is active, the Spirit of God is active. It’s impossible to please Him without faith. Patience guards against you allowing a doubt or confession of fear into your consciousness. Even when we stretch our faith as far as it will go, He who is within us is so much greater than he who is in the world. First Corinthians 10:13 says, 1 Corinthians 10:13 New King James Version (NKJV) 13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
Almost everywhere you find faith mentioned in the Bible, you’ll also find patience. Faith and patience become powerful forces when used together, they produce every time. Patience is a working force. When faith has a tendency to waver, it’s patience that comes to faith’s aid to make it stand. The force of patience is necessary to undergird faith.
Jesus said in John 16:33 (NKJV) These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; Many Christians stop here at this point and accept that there will be troubles, trials and tribulations, after all Jesus said it Himself. What does a ‘but’ mean in a sentence? I haven’t finished yet and everything I said before is now wiped away with what I am about to say next. but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” Make sure that you are full of joy always and in every situation in all circumstances rejoice because healing is yours, deliverance is yours, salvation is yours, abundance is yours, it doesn’t matter what it looks like on the outside on the inside is where your joy is complete.
There’s no doubt about it Satan wants to steal your joy. In fact, he’ll steal anything he can if you will let him. Many Christians feel that Satan is out after them personally, but I can assure you he’s not respecter of persons. He only comes for the Words sake. Satan knows that if he can steal the Word out of your life, then he has stolen your joy and then it’s all downhill from there because now he easy access to steal all your stuff. I’ll tell you again that Satan is not interested in you personally so it's no use crying or having a pity party and saying "why me". Jesus tells us in John 10:10 that Satan is a thief and he comes to steal kill and destroy. That’s his nature, he is a thief and he was a thief and a murderer from the beginning and when you have the nature of a thief you can’t stop stealing. Hebrews 10:32-33 (NKJV) 32 But recall the former days in which, after you were illuminated, you endured a great struggle with sufferings: 33 partly while you were made a spectacle both by reproaches and tribulations, and partly while you became companions of those who were so treated; Things stolen from us Proverbs 6:30-31 (NKJV) 30 People do not despise a thief If he steals to satisfy himself when he is starving. 31 Yet when he is found, he must restore sevenfold; He may have to give up all the substance of his house.
We have been redeemed from the curse of sickness but we must first see Jesus as our healer and not the doctor
One of the steps of the law of growth is love. It’s powerful and it is the love of God. I want you to know and understand a very important thing about laws or principals of God. They are established and written by God so that we can grow and prosper. God is a good God and He only has good things to give us. So laws are not there so we become robots all marching to the one beat and not like a school headmaster who is looking to punish a disobedient child. But by the victory that Jesus won on the cross, He then by the Holy Spirit wrote these laws on our hearts.
In order to grow spiritually we have to get the love walk working in our lives. The love of God is supernatural and it works by faith. The Love of God has been poured out in our heart by the Holy Spirit. There is no fear in love, but only boldness. Love is not a feeling; it is a decision. This love is a part of the kingdom culture and as a new creation we have to operate in a new system.
The Grace of God made available to us by faith is the gift of God. Faith is the gift of God given to us so we can have "like precious faith". The gift of faith for salvation is the same faith needed to obtain everything that God has promised us.
This message is part 4 in our series on Growth and it is the area of teaching to help you get results in what you say
So the Word of God is saying forget the comparison or concern physically because there is something much more important to work on and that is your spiritual growth. To grow spiritually we have to imitate Jesus Christ, that is to walk and talk like Jesus. We need to conduct our lives like Jesus and speak like Jesus spoke.
In the spiritual area growth or progress is the process of being transformed into the image and likeness of Jesus. This exciting message looks at the mirror of the word

This message is designed to train Christians to become Mighty Warriors who have a different spirit in them like Caleb. We cover Spiritual Warfare, becoming Battle Ready Warriors, how Caleb had a different spirit that the rest of Israel and the 7 characteristics of Caleb.
This new series is designed to help you grow into a Mighty Warrior for God.
If you have been diligent in confessing the word of God, you have been fasting and praying and you still haven’t seen the manifestation of the supernatural in your life in any real way, well I believe that this message will help you get the response that you have been looking for. Faith can only take possession of what God has already provided.
Have you ever stopped and thought about who is actually on your team? God has prepared a team for you but most Christians don’t know that have a team assigned to help them obtain all that God has promises them. God has assigned angels to us to minister to us and they wait on our words. When we speak prophetically over our situation (in faith), then they are released to go and get our inheritance and our possessions.
God has assigned angels to us to minister to us and they wait on our words. When we speak prophetically over our situation (in faith), then they are released to go and get our inheritance and our possessions. Angels are assigned to us to speak the word of God to us so we can then declare them in faith over the things that are in the seen realm to nullify them. When you become active in your confessions you will become more and more aware of the angels that are on assignment just for you. Now it’s our job to call things that are not and it’s the angel’s job to go get it.
When Jesus conquered sin and death on the cross, He was in a fight and He won and got everything back for us that Adam lost. Notice that the Apostle Paul says that we are heirs— heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. This means that it is because of what Jesus accomplished we inherent. It’s written in His last will and New Testament. Whatever He got back, you got back • He got our Lands & Houses back, • He got our healing back, • He got out relationships back • He made all things new • Worn out parts have been renewed So how do we access the things that Jesus fought for and won back for us? By staying in faith and fighting the good fight of faith.
I want to give you some good news this morning, and it is when you fight the good fight of faith there is a reward for every time you fight and stay in faith and stay in love. God is such a good God and He wants to give us rewards for our faith and diligence.
The Lord will Fight for you. The interesting thing about going into battle is that you are only required to stand strong in faith, do not be afraid and hold your peace. Before we can fight the good fight of faith we first need to win the battle in your own mind and we have to pull down and overcome strongholds sown in their by Satan.
Why do you think that God wanted the Children of Israel to spy out the Promise land? He wanted them to form an image in their hearts of the things that the Lord had promised them. What image is in your heart?
Right now I would like you to take an inventory of all the things that the Lord has promised you, write them down and then see what’s missing: I would like to ask you a question; Are they worth fighting for? Or are they just a dream and all you seem to be doing about them is hoping and a praying and maybe singing “Someday my prince will come".
Many Christians take on a are passive, non-confrontational and complaisant attitude when they get saved but that is not what God’s plan is and the very reason that Jesus came into the earth. 1 John 3:8 For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
When God is about to bless you, He also prophesies it over you. God has declared a powerful prophetic word for Living Word Church and it is accompanied by a Supernatural Blessing where people from all walks of life are going to notice it and will want to know “where did you get it?” This question will be asked time and time again because of the abundant blessing that is on our church and on our people. It won’t be natural in it’s origin, but supernatural and it will be a “Sign and a Wonder” to many.
Let God be True but every Man a Liar. When you look at miracles in the Bible there is not one of them that actually makes sense from a natural perspective. In fact they make no sense at all because they defy the natural laws of nature. The Word of God says in 1st Peter 2:24 that “by Jesus stripes you were healed” and you are not healed, then let God be true or His word be true and the sickness you can see and feel is in-fact a lie. The thing that you can see is now (the sickness), is nullified or cancelled by the invisible realm (1 Corinthians 1:27-28).
‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ The word Faithful written here means "Full of Faith. The key to faith, is knowing and understanding that God wants to reward those who diligently seek Him.
The supernatural is needed for us to be able to go into the promise land and obtain everything that the Lord has given to us. The way we get into the Supernatural is by faith. Through this series we are finding out that Faith is the holder of your destiny. Have you ever wondered what you destiny was? Why were you created in the image and likeness of God? Is there more for you to attain to as a spirit filled believer other than just attending a church and living a good holy life? Listen to this message
What is a Supernatural Christian? This message explores this and looks at the life of Gideon
It’s natural for a Christian to be Supernatural, but for some reason many Christians don’t know this and don’t know how move in the supernatural. What is a Supernatural Christian? • One who lives by faith. • One who is not moved by what he sees in the natural realm. • One who looks into the invisible realm for whatever he desires. • One who prays in the spirit. • One who loves the Word of God & is quick to obey.
