Weekly Sermons from Mercy Road Church Northeast in Fortville Indiana
Speaker: Ken Primeau, Pastor of Mercy Road Northeast. Date: May 18, 2025 One of the most fascinating things about Jesus' teaching is how he reveals profound truths about himself through his life and mission. In the Gospel of John, we get a series of powerful “I am” statements—seven, to be exact—that give us a deeper glimpse into who Jesus really is. Now, this isn't just a catchy phrase. The “I am” echoes something much bigger—something that takes us back to Exodus 3:14, when God first introduces himself to Moses as “I am who I am.” This wasn't just a divine mic drop. It declared that God is eternal—always was, always is, and always will be. So when Jesus uses the phrase "I am," he's not just talking about his characteristics; he's connecting himself to God in the most powerful, unmistakable way as God Himself. Speaker: Caleb Beaverson In the ancient world, disciples followed their rabbi so closely that they were covered in his dust—a sign of total devotion. This was Jesus' hope for His followers, and it's our desire at Mercy Road: to see people far from God grow into a passionate relationship with Him. Today, Jesus is still calling, “Come, follow me,” inviting us to be covered in His dust. The period of the judges is marked by cycles of rebellion, repentance, and redemption, led by a series of charismatic leaders known as judges. These judges, empowered by God, arise to rescue Israel from their enemies when the people cry out in distress. Despite moments of spiritual revival, the book portrays a recurring pattern of moral decline and societal chaos among the Israelites, highlighting the consequences of turning away from God's ways. Today, in a culture of moral decline, the book of Judges will challenge our church to become leaders who commit to living faithfully in response to God's love, regardless of the culture around them. Teaching Pastor Daron Earlewine

Who AM I? Can I really change? Jesus makes you into who aren't…yet. We get hopeless about ourselves, and we put that on the generation below us. They're hopeless, helpless, weak, complainers…Jesus didn't share that view on young men and women. He gave THEM the keys to the Kingdom of God.
Underground Jesus is a teaching series we do once every year encouraging you to join the 2000 year old UNDERGROUND MOVEMENT OF JESUS! In this series we encourage you to become a part of what God is doing through our church. What do you think of when you think of church? Maybe you think of a building, the music, the messages, a pastor, or even the coffee. The early church was a movement of people who allowed God to take their ordinary lives and do something extraordinary with them. God took their ordinary lives of work, school, family, and friends and filled them with the HOLY SPIRIT and life turned into an adventure. Maybe you've attended church services before, but you've never said “yes” to joining the movement of Jesus beyond that. Our prayer is that we WOULD SAY YES to joining the underground movement of Jesus! Speaker: Teaching Pastor Daron Earlewine

On average, each of us has 8 to 15 people who God has supernaturally and strategically placed in our relational world so that He might use us to both demonstrate and discuss faith. The Greeks used one word to describe our personal world- OIKOS, or “extended household.” OIKOS, or our 8-15 extended network of relationships, is not a program, an event, or an emphasis. It's about living our faith authentically and inviting others to experience the transformative power of God's love. By focusing on those we already have relationships with, we can make a meaningful impact.
