Michael Lodge, Speaking Pastor Today John gets to the point of his letter. Smooth talking teachers were trying to infiltrate the church and lead these young believers astray. John calls these teachers antichrists and exposes the lies that they teach. John's encouragement is for these believers to know the truth, call out the lie, and remain in Jesus' words of truth. We live in a day of many influencers. A lot of people are saying a lot of "good" things.
