This is Romans Part 2: The Gospel – The New Humanity (Romans 5–8). In these chapters, Paul shows how the good news of Jesus doesn't just pardon sinners—it creates a whole new humanity. Through Christ, we are freed from sin, filled with the Spirit, and assured of God's unshakable love."No Condemnation" is a sermon based on Romans 8:1-11 preached by lead pastor Billy Glosson. This sermon was preached at Mission Church — a church in Morganton, North Carolina in the heart of Burke County.Join us in person on Sundays, 10 AM221 Herron St.Morganton NC, 28655
Main Point: You Have No Condemnation in Christ Jesus Text: Romans 8:1-2 Outline: A. Jesus Condemnation B. The Work of Christ C. Freedom in the Spirit
Elijah's prayer brought the fire of God onto the sacrifice and not on the people. This points to the cross where God's judgment was poured out on Jesus, who became the ultimate sacrifice for us.
No CondemnationFalse prophets, false teachers, and wolves are those who promote the law of sin and death. They live with disregard for God and use guilt to control others into following them. But for those who are in Christ, there is freedom as we walk out our faith with deep reverence for the One who loves our soul.
In the last installment of this study, we examined the second half of Romans Ch. 7. I stressed the importance of context in understanding the text. It describes the life lived according to the flesh, attempting to keep the law under our own power. This is not the life that we are meant to live as children of God. As we move into Ch. 8, we see the distinction drawn more clearly as we learn that it is impossible to please God that way. But do not be discourage. Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. (Romans 8:1-2 LSB)
Audio from 10.15.25 LSM Mid-Week Student Worship Service. The title of this message is "No Condemnation" from Romans 8:1-11. This is the first sermon of the 4 week sermon series titled "Life In The Spirit: Life The Way God Meant It." The main idea of this message is that life in the Spirit means no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
#27 in our series, "The Book of Romans: A Theology of Hope"
In week 1 of Anchored: A Journey Through Romans 8, Pastor Scott Worthington preached from Romans 8:1–11. As followers of Jesus, we've been freed by God from the penalty of sin! But that doesn't mean we won't still struggle with it. In the struggle against sin, we can easily get discouraged and feel condemned. But, the Bible says there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus! We can get back up when we fall because God is continuing to free us from the power of sin—and when He returns, He will free us from the presence of sin. If you've been feeling defeated or discouraged in your struggle against sin, this sermon is for you.
We are happy to have you with us! If there are any issues with the stream feel free to message us.
You have no condemnation if you are united to Christ by faith. I. HOW TO BE FREE FROM THE LAW OF SIN AND DEATH II. YOUR CALLING TO WALK ACCORDING TO THE SPIRIT
In Jesus, we receive freedom from the penalty of sin.

In Christ, I am not condemned and now I can live to please the Lord. Pastor Mark begins preaching through what he considers to be the greatest chapter in the Bible. Are you living like the conqueror God says you are, or still fighting battles He's already won? In this sermon, Pastor James Wilson reminds us that through Jesus Christ, we are more than conquerors. Drawing from Romans 8:37-39 and Colossians 2:13-15, Pastor Wilson explains that believers have already overcome the world, the enemy, and the flesh because of Christ's ultimate victory. He encourages us to stay in “victory formation,” to focus not on past failures but on the triumph we already have in Jesus. Pastor Wilson also emphasizes the power of faith, the complete forgiveness of sins, and the importance of staying prayerful and grounded so we do not fall into the enemy's traps. True victory is not about striving to win but standing firm in the victory Jesus has already secured for you. One thing we know for sure about God is that He is consistent, and that means the bible as a whole is a consistent revelation of who God is. Preaching from Romans 8:1-4, how does “no condemnation” become the Christian privilege that shapes all of our practice?
Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises of the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts and lives. Here are the promises we covered this week. Hebrews 11:6 – Without Faith You Cannot Please God. Ephesians 1:17 – God Gives Me Revelation and Wisdom. Romans 5:3-4 - I Can Rejoice in Hardship. 1 John 3:19 – No Condemnation in Christ. 2 Peter 1:3 – God Gives me Everything for Godly Living.
Today's Promise: 1 John 3:19-20 For many Christians, Guilt is a way of life. When they pray, they feel overwhelmed by a sense of guilt and shame. Every time a service opportunity arrives, they feel unworthy for God to use them. Once we confess and repent of a sin, God never brings it up again. God has removed our sin as far as the east is to the west. (Ps. 103:12) God desires for you to live a guilt-free life by the power of the Holy Spirit. When you sin, you repent, receive forgiveness, and move forward in your Christian life.

Abortion is one of the most debated and sensitive topics of our time, and recently it's been flooding my comment section. Some say it's “just a clump of cells,” while others argue it's the ending of a life. In this episode, I'm not here to debate or water down what I believe—I'm here to share my perspective through the lens of my faith. We'll talk about free will and God's gift of choice, why our moral compass as believers is guided by the Holy Spirit, and why I believe abortion is more than just “terminating cells.” I'll share my personal convictions and even some of my own family's story to explain why this isn't just a political issue to me—it's a spiritual one.My prayer is that this episode challenges you to reflect, dig into Scripture for yourself, and let God reveal to you His truth.

Jesus didn't come to shame you. He doesn't condemn. Instead, He came to offer salvation. On Sunday, August 24, 2025, Pastor Chad Gilligan reminds you that true freedom can only come from Jesus and the work of the Holy Spirit in your life.
Join us today as we discuss that there is no condemnation for those who place their faith in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation, and how the Holy Spirit immediately indwells every believer.
We don't have to live looking over our shoulder, waiting for the gavel to fall. The trial is over. The verdict has been read. "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." // A message by Chris Hyatt.
Romans 8 opens with a breathtaking truth—there is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. Your salvation is secure not because of what you've done, but because of what Christ did. You're not guilty. You're free.
The Bible teaches us that not only does God forgive us, but he removes our condemnation. Grace brings freedom. It provides healing for the soul. Sins are not only forgiven, but God lifts our sentence of guilt. Shame is erased.Main Points:1. There is one universal thing every human has in common. We are all sinners. We have all made mistakes. We all have failures and shortcomings.2. The story of the gospel is that Jesus has come to save us from our sins. Jesus died on the cross, taking the penalty for our sins and satisfying the justice of a righteous and holy God. Out of His love and grace, he offers us forgiveness of our sins, as we place our faith in Him and confess Him as our Lord and Savior.3. Stop and think about these words. No condemnation. Not a hint, not a whisper, not even a shadow of it. The believer stands before the throne of God, not as a condemned criminal awaiting punishment, but as a redeemed child embraced by the loving arms of the Father.Today's Scripture Verses:Romans 3:23 - “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”1 Corinthians 6:11 - “…you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”John 3:17 - “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."Romans 8:1 - “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”John 5:24 - “I tell you the truth, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and he will not be condemned. He has crossed over from death to life."
