Mommylogeauxs [mom-ee-logs] is a window into the comedic world of motherhood told through interviews and storytelling. Why? because mommying is a MUTHA!
Ashleigh B mommylogeauxs [mom-ee-logs]
I'm talking with the amazing Alida Glass! She's small, but mighty! We're talking about all the things that pop into our heads! Dating after a "certain age", comedy and six degrees of separation.
Oh no! I feel a burnout coming on! Just because we've been told to "do it all and be it all" doesn't mean that we should.
Being happy is because things happen to you. You have to make your happiness happen. You have to practice happiness in order to be happy.
If this all sounds too random for you to understand what's happening, it's probably because it is. You are more than welcome to listen to the podcast, but also go to YouTube under my name Ashleigh Branch and check out the other videos of the previous episodes!
I'm back with the amazing Rochelle McConico with some deep conversation. We're very candid in this episode. The episode also reminds me that those who can make us laugh the hardest have probably been through some really hard times themselves.
The Women, Wives and Moms podcast is back to the regular weekly schedule! I'm with the amazing, talented founder of Moon Cricket Productions, Rochelle McConico. We're talking womenhood, creativity and being your all.
30 Days of The Mommylogeauxs are over! Today is my birthday!!!! Even though it's my birthday , I want y'all to find and do the things that bring you peace, joy and happiness. You can also help me by gifting to my cashapp:$Ashdae or Venmo: @Ashleigh-Branch.
One of the best gifts you could ever give your children is gratitude. I'm so grateful that Ava didn't look like a baby bird as a new born!
As a parent I always teach multiple ways of doing things so that the girls can find a way that's easiest for them. Some call it taking the easy way, I call it just plain smart.
For those who don't know, this particular title is a play on a hip hop title "The Streets Is Watching". Ava be watching!
BSS is a disease that eldest sisters contract. There is a cure, but Ava don't want it!
Being the oldest means that little sister has to go! How many times has she tried to take Aubrey out!
Children use all the around them to figure out who they are and who they want to be. Impressionable is the word, I think......
Everybody lies, but you shouldn't lie to mommy. Ava learned a hard lesson!
We miss so many import things because we just can't live in the moment. Enjoy the moment fully and you'll be happier.
Ava is one of my greatest teachers! One of the greatest things she's taught me is that I know nothing. Not a damn thing!
We are discussing Ava, big sister syndrome, and being the experimental child.
I have always talked about Frankie being a surprise baby. I sometimes forget how much of a blessing she is to me and the family.
Frankie is strong as a rock........ but there is one thing that cracks her.
Frankie is very vocal about the things she likes and doesn't like. But, I'm her mama nonetheless and I still have to be that guide!
There's always that one particular toy or gadget that all parents hate. Mine, is slime! It is Satan.
Children learn really early how to get the things they want. Frankie has learned that flattery may not get her very far; it sometimes gets her what she wants.
Of all of my children, Frankie is the clingiest! She stalks me and follows me wherever I go!
Not all villians are bad guys. They may just be annoying little sisters!
If Frankie wasn't anything else, she's damn sure rebellious!
Sometimes when people say, "That baby been here befoe" (I spelled it the way I say it!), that baby actually has! In the case of my Frankie Frank, she's the reincarnation of my maternal grandmother! She cuss like her too!
Today is the first episode of Frankie! And guess what else?! It's her birthday!!!! I love my Frankie Frank!
This is the last episode for Aubrey!
All of the girls bring a certain flavor to the family. Aubrey's flavor is just a bit spicy!
Kids say some off the wall type things, but are they wrong though?
I am definitely not a fan of making kids do more work after being in school for 8 hours, sounds kinda like working......... That's a conversation for another time! Tear free homework or no homework!
Ya gotta start with the man in the mirror! Seeing ourselves in our children is a good way to find the solutions to the problems we face within ourselves. Try it!
Hey we all got our fears! Sometimes children say things that put things into perspective. Listen to their fears and concerns, or at the very least laugh at them!
There are things that give us the creeps. Lizards and anything that crawls or slithers sends Aubrey flying. Here's the story and video of Aubrey's up close encounter with a mini dinosaur. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Pk0Wldi6Ns&t=3s
Aubrey is highly intelligent and her vocabulary is extensive. Sometimes she uses that vocabulary to read people for filth. I'm here for all of it!
Aubrey has something of a sixth sense. She reads people and let's you know she has read you!
I'm doing 30 days of the Mommylogeauxs for the month of August! We're coming out swinging with stories of everyone's favorite subject of the Mommylogeauxs, Aubrey!
I'm here again with the amazing Nkechi Chibueze! We are discussing life as educators in the New Orleans public school system! Believe me, it's Hilarious
I'm with the homie Nkechi Chibueze taking about whatever comes to our minds! So, strap in and enjoy the ride!
I'm back with my bestest friend in the whole wide world, A. Renee! We're talking about our friendship, developing relationships and her love life. Strap in! It's gonna be a funny ride!
Pease join me and one of my best friends A. Renee! We don't need no stinkin boxes!
With the world seemingly falling apart, we have to learn new ways to keep ourselves from unraveling. Here's a few things I do when things get too heavy.
On this episode I talk with my Mama aka Gigi as she gives us some of her time and wisdom.
This episode I sit down with my girls to get some insight on their thought and views of womenhood, motherhood and the role of wives. Quite interesting! Make sure you tune in next week to see who our mystery guest is!
We're on love's train or not. I'm back with the homie Izzie talking about relationships and ADHD.
It's another episode with my sister, TK Fairley! She's doing her auntie duty by teaching my child about condoms....... Just listen and have fun!
The Planets aligned when the star TK randomly popped up at my house! Then we randomly did a podcast!
Hey person! Yeah you! Don't be wearing yourself down and not recharging your batteries! Take time to trip!
Hey! I'm back in the garden again! I LOVE growing things and eating the fruits of my labor! Let's learn how to be kind to ourselves and the planet! Peace!
Here's a glimpse into a little about me! I love to garden and soak up the sun!
Part 2 of 3 with the homie Tiffany "Izzie" Williams. This episode is just as random as the title suggests! Strap in and go on the ADHD ride with us!
