Starlight Thursdays Episode 271 Featuring BK Love, Recorded live at the Top Hat. It's always such a pleasure to perform at this legendary venue. As of late my music selection brings us closer to the equator but maintains a trip around the world with tracks from so many nations and cultures under one roof. I recently discovered a genre called “Reggae House”. With my deep appreciation of all things Jamaican i was instantly hooked and listened to hundreds of tracks overnight. I chose a handful of my favorites and blended them in with my traditional selection as an homage to the originators of sound system culture that inspired what became the electronic dance music scene today. The music was received well as the room quickly grew into a dance party full of funky movement and energetic cheers. I live for these moments. BK Love
