We are living through trying times . We have BEEN living through trying times. The recent murder of unarmed black man, George Floyd by police officers, directly following the hunt and slaughter of unarmed jogger Auhmed Aubrey by two armed white men has shaken countries around the world. Protesters of these and the long list of other brutalites against black americans/POC have been called thugs and criminals and the "president" of the United States has threatened citizens with only more brutal violence. Day after day we are faced with the continued injustice and while we should be able to lean on family and friends for support we are instead forced to choose between our own mental health/justice or ending the relationships that recent events have forced us to realize we've outgrown. How do we navigate it all? How do we not lose all hope? How do we get to from police public lynchings to tangible steps toward progress? Dialouge. Dialouge WiTH protest will help us unify, get organized and see this shit through to the end. This podcast is made for POC by an angry black woman.
