Olympians Jade Johnson and Anson Henry discuss an array of hot topics from the world of Track & Field and beyond. Jade represented Great Britain in the Long Jump while Anson competed for Canada in the 100m and the 4x100m relay. Having competed in two Olympic Games each as well as a combined 5 World Championships, they have A LOT of Track & Field experience. Not to mention having won medals at the Commonwealth Games, Pan American Games, and the European Championships. The couple is extremely passionate and opinionated, and have decided to put their many discussions, heated debates and stories about the sport and its many colourful characters into this unconventional Track & Field podcast.     The World Indoor Championships in Belgrade Serbia got underway at the beginning of March and it didn't disappoint. There were some great performances, some upsets, a few world records, and of course, it wouldn't be Track & Field if there wasn't some "hot topics" to get us all talking! Did Marcell Jacobs really win the Men's 60m? Was that jump in the Long Jump really a foul? What happened to Swoboda? Will Rojas jump 16m? We also heard Mondo Duplantis broke the World Record - but we didn't get to see it.Overall, the 2022 World Indoor Championships was a good one, BUT we all know the real Track & Field season doesn't really start until athlete's head "outside" and start putting down some early season performances on the outdoor track. And, from the looks of things already, this season is about to be one to remember! Fred Kerley has already run under 10s in the 100m, 20.0 in the 200m, and 44.4 in the 400m!! And this was all BEFORE April!! Why is Elaine Thompson-Herah running 400m....in 56.72? And, where is Tara Davis? Its about to be a very busy summer...     The highly anticipated NFL speed vs Track speed showdown finally happened as Seattle Seahawks receiver DK Metcalf lined up with some professional sprinters at the USATF Golden Games at Mt.     NFL football player DK Metcalf announced to the sports world that he would be jumping into a 100m competition with some world class sprinters at the USATF Golden Games in Walnut, California on May 9th.  The talks of DK's speed comparison with Olympic sprinters all began with his chase down tackle on Arizona Cardinal's safety Budda Baker in a Sunday Night Football game in week 7 of the 2020 season on October 26th of 2020.  Later that night USA Track & Field tweeted that he can come and see some real speed at the 2021 US Olympic Trials.  He quickly replied "See you there."Jade and Anson give their take on the delusion of football fans truly believing that he actually has a shot at making the team, and what to expect when he lines up at the Golden Games, which would be his first 100m competition in the lead into the Olympic Trials.We want you involved in the conversation, so send us your comments, opinions and future show ideas you would like us to discuss, so hit us up on @VoicesofTnF on Twitter.Music: Clockwork Riddim - Usain Bolt
