Carl and Mike come back with more football talk and discuss what they believe it will take for the Atlanta Falcons to "get it together", which they agree injuries have been an issue for the team and having everyone healthy is a great start as they have been dealing with several key players, including Michael Penix Jr., Drake London, Kyle Pitts and Jalon Walker participating in practice in limited capacity.
The Photos That Prove JB & Sandy Witnessed History”“What's the greatest college football game of all time—and how do you prove you were there?”In this nostalgic episode of The JB and Sandy Show, we take you back to January 2006, when the Texas Longhorns stunned USC at the Rose Bowl in what many call the best college football game ever played. JB and Sandy were there, side by side, hugging for the first and only time in show history when Vince Young crossed the goal line. But here's the twist: for nearly 20 years, they had zero photographic evidence. Until now. Hear the incredible story of how a fraternity brother, a Vegas weekend, and a well-organized digital archive unearthed long-lost photos that prove JB and Sandy were part of history. From the joy of rediscovering these snapshots to the hilarious reactions (“JB looks like a small child!”), this episode is packed with laughs, memories, and one jaw-dropping confession from Sandy about a photo that didn't make the public cut. Spoiler: it involves a stranger and a very questionable pose.Memorable Quote:"It's like it never happened without a photograph."Why You'll Love This Episode:Relive the magic of the 2006 Rose Bowl and Vince Young's legendary touchdownHear JB and Sandy's candid reflections on aging, sobriety, and friendshipLaugh at the outrageous photo reveal that had everyone speechlessCall to Action:Love this trip down memory lane? Jeff Blair and Kevin Barker look back on the Blue Jays' marathon Game 3 against the LA Dodgers, a 6-5 in the 18th inning. They reflect on the Jays' consequential decision to pitch to Shohei Ohtani in the seventh inning, John Schneider's pinch-run replacements, questionable umpire calls, Nathan Lukes' 12-inning at-bat against Clayton Kershaw with the bases loaded, and more of the Jays' missed opportunities. Then, they move on to Game 4, what to expect from the starters in Shane Bieber and Ohtani, and how the lineup changes in the potential absence of George Springer. Later, Blue Jays special assistant and 12-year MLB veteran Kevin Kiermaier (29:02) stops by to discuss the toll of an extra-innings postseason loss, how the Jays can bounce back in Game 4, and how they can attack Ohtani on the mound. The views and opinions expressed in this podcast are those of the hosts and guests and do not necessarily reflect the position of Rogers Sports & Media or any affiliates.

This week we sparked up Salt Lake City Fumes by September Solventless, a cured rosin batter that came in smooth but left us wondering if the flavor took the day off. It's a sativa-leaning hybrid clocking around 63% THC, with top terps like Limonene, β-Caryophyllene, β-Pinene, and β-Myrcene. On paper, it sounds like a citrus-spiced dream. In practice? More like parsley met mint and decided to start a lawn-care business. The high hits fast and focused — pressure behind the eyes, light tension across the forehead — then mellows into an easy, functional calm. Not bad for a wake-and-bake or a mid-day creative boost, but it definitely lacks that terp-punch we expect from a solventless. We'd call it “fine, not fire.”While the strain didn't wow our taste buds, the episode did turn into an impromptu joint-rolling masterclass. Brandon dove into his tenth-joint learning curve, Jesse compared it to an art class, and somehow we ended up breaking down Amsterdam rolling techniques while trying not to tear the papers. By the end, we actually pulled off some decent Js — proof that persistence (and sticky fingers) pay off.Flavor aside, Salt Lake City Fumes did its job — chill enough to keep the vibes steady while we learned, talked technique, and philosophized about the art of the perfect roll.Overall vibe: calm, clear, slightly grassy.Flavor score: 4/10.High: 6.5/10.Joint-rolling experience: 10/10.How to roll a Joint?Save on Dr Dabber with Code: Cannabisschool10Save on Storz & Bickel with Code : CannabisschoolSave on Santa Cruz Shredder with Code: CSP10Save on Bomb Erigs with Code: CSPScore 100 on your test
In this episode of The Black Lincoln Collective Comedy Podcast, chaos collides with culture as the crew welcomes Author Sean Casey (https://www.seancaseyauthor.com/), a man brave enough to enter the conversational demolition derby that is this show. Between unfiltered banter, oddly philosophical tangents, and enough sarcasm to power a small city, the gang somehow manages to talk about books — yes, actual books — while also veering wildly into pop culture, conspiracy theories, and the fragile state of adult attention spans.Sean joins the madness to discuss his writing process, the joys and curses of storytelling, and what happens when creativity meets pure comedic nonsense. One minute he's dropping insights about character development and human connection, the next he's trying to explain to the hosts why you can't just “punch up” every plot twist. It's the kind of conversation that starts on literature and ends with someone questioning if raccoons are sentient.Between the laughs, the interruptions, and the occasional accidental wisdom, this episode captures what The Black Lincoln Collective does best — mixing smart comedy with absurd energy, all delivered through a haze of sarcasm and self-awareness. Sean Casey somehow survives the verbal rollercoaster and even manages to make a few solid points about writing, inspiration, and maintaining sanity in an insane world. If you've ever wondered what would happen if a thoughtful author wandered into a room full of unfiltered comedians with microphones, this is your answer. Spoiler: it's equal parts hilarious, enlightening, and slightly concerning.Author Sean Casey joins the Collective for a literary-meets-lunacy chatBehind-the-scenes look at Sean's writing process and inspirationPop culture rants, weird hypotheticals, and minor existential crisesUnintentional self-help advice disguised as sarcasmWhy chaos and creativity might actually be best friends #blcpodcast #podcastingforthepeople #funny #podcast #greenvillesc #scpodcast #yeahthatgreenville Listen at: https://americasfavoritepodcast.com Tweet the Show: https://twitter.com/blcworld Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/blcpodcast/ Check us out on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/blcpodcast/ Buy Fred and Allan Beer: https://www.patreon.com/blcworld
