In This Episode: Cecil Lammey and Sigmund Bloom break down a busy wave of NFL free‑agency moves, starting with Romeo Doubs signing with the Patriots. Does Doubs actually move the needle for New England's offense, or is he more of a complementary piece than a true difference‑maker. The guys dig into his fit, his role, and what it means for fantasy value in 2026. Then it's on to the Cardinals landing Tyler Allgeier, a move that gives Arizona a physical, efficient back who could thrive in a bigger role. Cecil and Bloom explain why the fit works and how it reshapes that backfield. They also dive into Mike Evans joining the 49ers, breaking down why he's such a clean schematic match and how he could elevate an already loaded offense. Finally, the fellas look ahead at the next potential dominoes: could stars like AJ Brown or DK Metcalf actually be on the trade block. What would it take. And which teams make the most sense if a blockbuster goes down. watch on YouTube -> https://youtu.be/y3HWK4Si7S0

Host Adam Bittner welcomes Post-Gazette Steelers insider Brian Batko to react to the Steelers big trade for Indianapolis Colts receiver Michael Pittman Jr. Is he exactly the type of player they needed as a No. 2 wideout opposite DK Metcalf? Did GM Omar Khan and coach Mike McCarthy do the right thing in giving Pittman a rich contract worth close to $20 million per season? What impact will this deal make on Khan's draft plans? Specifically as it pertains to selecting a receiver from a loaded class that includes names like Carnell Tate, Jordyn Tyson, Denzel Boston, Makai Lemon and Omar Cooper Jr.? Should we make anything of the Colts choosing the younger Alec Pierce for an extension over Pittman? And what impact might this move make on Aaron Rodgers' willingness to return? Our duo tackles those questions and offers thoughts on other moves around the NFL involving James Pierre, Kenneth Gainwell, Malik Willis and others. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. On the Saturday edition of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by FanDuel, host Adam Bittner welcomes Post-Gazette Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo to talk through the week in NFL mock draft picks for GM Omar Khan's team. How much value would a rugged slot corner like Keiote Scott add to the secondary? What about a player like Treydan Stukes, who could slide between slot corner and safety next to names like Jalen Ramsey and Joey Porter Jr.? Will those needs be worthy of Day 2 picks? Or will the Steelers look at prospects even higher on the board? Why did we see so many Jordyan Tyson picks this week? Is he a good fit for this team opposite a No. 1 like DK Metcalf because of his ability to work both inside and outside? How does he compare to more specialized names like Carnelll Tate, Denzel Boston and Makai Lemon? And is Omar Cooper Jr. quickly joining that group of top receivers following his performance at the NFL combine? Our duo tackles those questions, ponders QBs including Ty Simpson and Drew Allar. Then wonders why we didn't see more tackle picks given the ominous update on tackler Broderick Jones' status. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. On the Friday episode of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by FanDuel and Edgar Snyder & Associates, Post-Gazette Steelers insiders Christopher Carter and Brian Batko ponder the moves available to GM Omar Khan and new coach Mike McCarthy following the decision to cut Jonnu Smith and his lucrative contract. Could the front office be looking to make big moves like it did last year for Smith, DK Metcalf and Jalen Ramsey? Could Fitzpatrick potentially return to Pittsburgh amid turmoil with the Miami Dolphins? And why are names like Kamren Curl, Logan Hall and Calvin Austin III on our duo's wishlist with NFL free agency looming next week? Our duo tackles those questions and more. Steelers correspondent Mark Kaboly from the Pat McAfee Show joined the show. Where do the Steelers stand on Aaron Rodgers? Mark doesn't think the team will set a deadline, but the anticipation is that it will happen soon. What would have to happen for the Steelers to let Mason Rudolph and Will Howard drive the car? Mark insisted that Rodgers is still the Plan A for 2026. Mark isn't wiping a trade off the table that could happen over the weekend, like the DK Metcalf move from last year. More w/ Mark – Mark said Will Howard has the lovable personality which is a reason why he has so many fans without taking a snap as a rookie. Mark liked that Howard was present around the facility while he was on IR and thinks the players appreciate his attention to detail. The guys went through a list of pending UFAs and doesn't think many, if any, come back in 2026. He said Isaac Seumalo walking out the door is a team decision. Mark said Rachaad White would be an interesting name to look for. Will the Steelers bring back any of their depth defensive linemen? More w/ Mark – The guys made Kaboom try KFC jelly beans. Mark discussed his love for the word ‘gimmick.' Which outside free agents does Mark think will end up in Pittsburgh? Mark thinks a veteran guard will find his way to Pittsburgh and perhaps a former Browns OL. Mark said he wouldn't rule out anything with Omar Khan.
The Bills made a move for DJ Moore today, sending a 2nd round pick to the Bears in the exchange. This just reset the trade market as AJ Brown could be the next guy on the move. Is Moore better than DK Metcalf? The price seems pretty cheap, in terms of trade capital, for the Bills, but maybe they are close enough with Josh Allen to get over the top. Did Omar Khan make the right move standing pat?

Is Moore better than DK Metcalf? The price seems pretty cheap, in terms of trade capital, for the Bills, but maybe they are close enough with Josh Allen to get over the top. Did Omar Khan make the right move standing pat? KDKA TV's Bob Pompeani joined the show. Bob said it's tough to gauge if Aaron Rodgers will be back again. The guys made Bob grade potential QBs that could be the Week 1 starter in 2026. The guys asked what advice he would give Pat McAfee if he ever asked. Pomp said Bob Costas and Bryant Gumbel are 2 of the best interviewers in sports media history. Pomp said Romeo Doubs would be his choice for the first free agent for the Steelers to sign. Bob doesn't think a pair of the pending free agents make it back to Pittsburgh. A few fun ones for Bob before we wrapped up. Power Rankings – 5 guys you want Steelers to re-sign.
On the Wednesday episode of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by FanDuel and Edgar Snyder & Associates, host Adam Bittner welcomes Post-Gazette Steelers insider Christopher Carter to talk through reports that the Arizona Cardinals plan to release QB Kyler Murray unless a trade for him can be found before NFL free agency next week. Should the Steelers be interested in Murray? Or would the move be too similar to the one they made for Russell Wilson a couple of years ago? Is Murray the better QB than Aaron Rodgers at this stage of his career? Or does Rodgers still have the edge even at 42? And would Murray have been a better fit with the Mike Tomlin and Arthur Smith offensive staff than he is with Mike McCarthy's? Our duo tackles those questions, then sorts through Chris's 32-round mock draft published on Post-Gazette.com this week. Why did he go with Ohio State DL Kayden McDonald for the Steelers when most of the industry is pointing toward receiver as the biggest first-round need? How does McDonald compare as a prospect to names like Carnell Tate, Makai Lemon, Jordyn Tyson and Denzel Boston? How would he fit alongside existing defensive line options like Cam Heyward, Yahya Black, Keeanu Benton and Derrick Harmon? Are any of those receivers worth potentially trading up to acquire for GM Omar Khan and coach Mike McCarthy as they look for a playmaking answer across from DK Metcalf? And could the Steelers potentially be just as happy with lower rated receiver prospects like Malachi Fields and Omar Cooper Jr. in later rounds after swiping McDonald in the first? Our duo tackles those questions and more. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.
On the Monday episode of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by FanDuel & Edgar Snyder & Associates, Post-Gazette Steelers insiders Christopher Carter and Ray Fittipaldo react to the NFL combine and what we may have learned about GM Omar Khan's plan for free agency, which begins next week. Did the volume of meetings with receivers and defensive backs telegraph that the Steelers will focus heavily on those position groups in the NFL draft, as coach Mike McCarthy searches for answers across from established playmakers including DK Metcalf, Pat Freiermuth and Joey Porter Jr.? Are names like Jordyn Tyson, Denzel Boston, Makai Lemon and KC Concepcion the ones we need to watch most closely? Could extensions be coming for 2023 draft class members including Broderick Jones, Porter Jr., Nick Herbig and Darnell Washington? Or will that depend on what happens with free agency? And where will Khan focus his free agent spending? Will it also go to the receiver and defensive back positions, as it did with Darius Slay and Juan Thornhill last offseason? Or will it be used to addressed positions like guard, where Issac Seumalo is set to depart? And running back, where Kenneth Gainwell is a free agent? Our duo tackles those questions and more. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.
On the Friday episode of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by FanDuel and Edgar Snyder & Associates, host Adam Bittner welcomes Post-Gazette Steelers insider Brian Batko to react to the NFLPA's survey results and the latest from the NFL combine. What should we make of the team's failing grades in the union's annual report card, the results of which were leaked to ESPN this week? Does owner Art Rooney II need to invest more in facilities and player support services? Why did GM Omar Khan get a low grade from players? Will the Steelers miss the fondness players have developed for Mike Tomlin over the years? And how much impact does any of this have on competitiveness and the ability to sign top free agents like Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson and DK Metcalf in recent years. Our duo tackles those questions, then weighs in on news and notes from the combine in Indianapolis. Should we look more closely at Alabama QB Ty Simpson amid reports that he impressed the Steelers? Could LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier get a closer look because of his father's pre-existing relationship with new coach Mike McCarthy? And who intrigues Brian from the receiver meeting list that includes Jordyn Tyson, Carnell Tate, Makai Lemon, Elijah Sarratt, Ted Hurst, Antonio Williams and De'Zhaun Stribling? Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.
Mark Kaboly joins the show for the next hour. Kaboly says that it makes a lot of sense that Ty Simpson liked Mike McCarthy, given McCarthy's personality. He also says that he does not think that the Steelers are going to take a QB in round 1. An anonymous benefactor dropped off a supply drop of burgers and wings, and it has the guys all out of sorts. Anyways, Mark thinks that the Steelers will go wide receiver in round one. The release of the NFLPA report cards already has the Steelers making changes. The Steelers have changed up their type of grass at Acrisure Stadium after all of the complaints from last season. Mark does not think there is any chance that the Steelers trade DK Metcalf.
Bob and Dave lead off the hour by commenting on the conversations happening on other shows in The Best of the Rest. They discuss Mariners Spring Training, Seahawks free-agency, and much more. They talk about who the Ace of this year’s Mariners Starting Rotation will be. And they speculate about how the season may have gone differently if DK Metcalf had stayed with the Seahawks in What if Wednesday.
On his weekly Chipped Ham & Football podcast, presented by FanDuel, Post-Gazette Steelers insider Brian Batko welcomes former Steelers receiver Miles Boykin to get his perspective on an array of hot topics facing the team. Why did Boykin decide to retire in the past couple of weeks? What was his reaction to seeing former coaches Mike Tomlin and John Harbaugh leave the Steelers and Ravens, respectively? What was his view from afar of the offense led by Arthur Smith, Aaron Rodgers, Kenneth Gainwell, DK Metcalf and others this past season? What are his memories of showing what he could do at the NFL combine? And what are his memories of sharing a receivers room with big personalities Chase Claypool and George Pickens during his time in Pittsburgh? Our duo tackles those questions and more. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.
In this hour, Adam Crowley, Dorin Dickerson and Pat Bostick wonder how much sense it would make for the Steelers to trade WR DK Metcalf this offseason. Also, do you like how ABS is working in MLB games so far in Spring Training. February 26, 2026, 7:00 Hour
Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. Mike works for NBC and the company is making some changes to their broadcast team heading into next season, including Tony Dungy being let go. In an article today, names like Mike Tomlin, Cam Heyward and Aaron Rodgers were thrown into the mix, but Mike has no bearing to say the likelihood of that happening. Mike insisted that Tomlin still has the pick of the litter when it comes to networks and will be on TV if he wants to be. What is the latest buzz Mike is hearing from the NFL Combine? Mike has his doubts that Mike McCarthy and the Steelers are in love with Will Howard the way they say. Mike said we still don't officially know if the guaranteed money is owed to DK Metcalf following the fan incident in Detroit. Mike doesn't think it would be wise to move on from Metcalf after one season. Mike questioned Rodgers wanting to play for McCarthy after the comments he made regarding his football IQ years ago.
Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo from the PG joined the show. The guys immediately dug into the leaked Steelers report card, which had Art Rooney rated as the worst owner in the league – citing terrible facilities, including the field at Acrisure Stadium. Should the Steelers find a way to stop high school games from happening at the stadium? Ray doesn't think this bothers Art because he claims they are working on upgrades or some new facilities. Ray doesn't think it should be shocking if the Steelers use a 3rd round pick on Drew Allar. Ray thinks any rookie QB selected by the Steelers would be QB3 for most, if not all of the season. Ray is skeptical of Ty Simpson getting 1st round buzz and does not expect the Steelers to have interest at 21st overall. Ray thinks the article listing DK Metcalf as a trade candidate is someone in the media being forced to think of a name. Ray expects the Steelers to add a free agent WR that makes roughly $15M/year.
The Penguins get back to it tonight in their first game without Sidney Crosby following his injury in the Olympics. They are in a playoff spot and have been one of the best stories in the NHL. But the guys have a big question – why is nobody going to the games? Is it more complex than the ticket price, concessions, travel to the game, etc. or is it really that simple? Fans explain why they are/aren't going to Penguins games. Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. Louis Riddick thinks it's a little bit ridiculous that the Steelers would consider Will Howard if they have a chance to draft Ty Simpson. How much better is Simpson than Howard? Poni wondered if what Austin is doing with Drew Allar is similar to what he and other Pitt fans did with Kenny Pickett a few years ago. Poni is curious if other Penn State fans are like that or if Austin has a man-crush. Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo from the PG joined the show. In an ESPN article regarding big trades to be made during the NFL offseason, DK Metcalf was ranked 6th – ahead of guys like Tua Tagovailoa and Kyler Murray. The Steelers are free of a dead cap hit with Metcalf due to the incident that took place during the Lions' game late in the season. Chris is OK with making a trade, even though it would leave them with 0 notable WRs. What if a team offers a 1st round pick? The conversation took a turn to best bands to come out of Western PA. 93.7 The Fan Sports Director Jeff Hathhorn joined the show. Jeff gave the layout from the NFL Combine in Indianapolis. He said the radio row area has become very impressive. Jeff talked about the trip to the Pacers game last night which led to an embarrassing Kaboly moment. Is it due diligence or more than that with Caleb Downs? Jeff isn't sure if it will be possible for the Steelers to move up far enough to draft him. Jeff said the Steelers need to listen to everything put on their table, including an offer for DK Metcalf. We noticed that 2 former Steelers hosting a podcast put out some very questionable free agents on their wish lists. Jeff talked about the layer of deception with the Steelers around the draft.
Report: The Pirates and Konnor Griffin are open to a deal. Which Buccos star would you rather sign to a long-term deal – Griffin or Paul Skenes? The guys began to argue in favor of Griffin getting the deal because he plays every day. On the Tuesday episode of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by FanDuel, host Noah Hiles welcomes Post-Gazette Steelers insider Brian Batko to react to GM Omar Khan's comments at the NFL combine. What should we make of Khan saying he has "no deadline" for QB Aaron Rodgers to return? How important is it for the team to get him signed quickly after Khan indicated he expects a decision from Rodgers sooner than it came in 2025? What are the implications of Rodgers' potential return to a QB room that also includes Mason Rudolph and Will Howard at present? And what impact will Rodgers have on other offseason decisions? Our duo tackles those questions, then weighs potential trade options. Will Khan look to repeat his 2025 blockbuster moves for DK Metcalf, Jalen Ramsey and Jonnu Smith? Or will this be a quieter spring? Would the Eagles' A.J. Brown be a good fit as a player known to be in the mix to move? Or would the Steelers be better off investing in a younger player in the NFL draft like Jordyn Tyson, Denzel Boston, Makai Lemon or Carnell Tate? And which players will other teams be asking Khan about? Does T.J. Watt top the list? And could others including Ramsey and Patrick Queen merit consideration as well? Our duo tackles those questions and more. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

On the Saturday episode of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by FanDuel, host Adam Bittner and Post-Gazette Steelers insider Christopher Carter analyze the week in NFL mock draft picks for new coach Mike McCarthy's team with the NFL combine looming next week. How big of a need does defensive line remain with Cam Heyward turning 37 and Keeanu Benton facing a lot of questions. Could a player like Clemson's Peter Woods be a solid long-term running mate for Derrick Harmon up front? And what about alternatives like Caden McDonald or Lee Hunter? Our duo tackles those questions and more. -- Does Florida's Devin Moore have exactly the size and analytics profile that the Steelers tended to emphasize under Mike Tomlin? -- Would a combination of Germie Bernard and Malachi Fields work if GM Omar Khan passes on a first-round receiver? Could Fields' size and contested catch skills, plus Bernard's ability to play in the slot be exactly what McCarthy's offense needs opposite DK Metcalf? -- Is Denzel Boston still the prospect who fits best in terms of the Steelers' needs and his likely draft position? -- Is Kansas QB Jalen Daniels worth spending a pick on as a veteran QB with some mobility? In this clip from the Wednesday edition of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by FanDuel and Edgar Snyder & Associates, host Adam Bittner welcomes Post-Gazette Steelers insider Christopher Carter to ponder Troy Fautanu's future on the offensive line. Should GM Omar Khan and new coach Mike McCarthy consider using Troy Fautanu's versatility to move him to the guard spot likely to be vacated by veteran Isaac Seumalo this NFL offseason? Or has he show too much promise at his current right tackle spot? How does Broderick Jones' injury situation loom over the conversation? Could internal options like Dyan Cook and Spencer Anderson prove to be solutions for new position coach James Campen? And what does Chris think of potential NFL draft solutions like Vega Ioane, Emmanuel Pregnon and Billy Schrauth? Our duo tackles those questions, then ponders free agent options some analysts have connected to the Steelers. Should GM Omar Khan and new coach Mike McCarthy be eyeing older veterans like Mike Evans and Tyreek Hill to balance DK Metcalf on the outside, as ESPN's Sam Acho suggested recently? Or is it time for the franchise to move on from short-term band-aids an target younger free agents like Alec Pierce and Romeo Doubs, who could be with the team for several years? And where do NFL draft options like Makai Lemon, Denzel Boston, Jordyn Tyson and KC Concepcion fit into the equation? Later, the guys talk RBs and analyst and former NFL running back Maurice Jones-Drew suggesting the Steelers should sign Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III. Do the Steelers need to spend lavishly at that position? Or would it be better off investing in its 2025 options Jaylen Warren, Kaleb Johnson and Kenneth Gainwell? And how should Khan address the position if Gainwell leaves for a lucrative deal in free agency? Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Live around 5 p.m., Post-Gazette sports columnist Paul Zeise offers his thoughts on the Steelers' options at receiver this offseason. Should GM Omar Khan and new coach Mike McCarthy consider signing former Pro Bowl wideout Tyreek Hill after he was released by the Miami Dolphins on Monday? Would he be a good fit at the No. 2 spot across from DK Metcalf? Does his skill set overlap too much with that of Roman Wilson and Calvin Austin III? Or would the Steelers be better off looking at NFL draft prospects including Makai Lemon, Jordyn Tyson, Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion? Paul tackles those topics and more. On the Monday edition of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by FanDuel and Edgar Snyder & Associates, Post-Gazette Steelers insiders Christopher Carter and Ray Fittipaldo ponder the team's biggest needs heading into the NFL offseason. Should new coach Mike McCarthy and GM Omar Khan invest more in the offensive line and add a name like Vega Ioane to their young core that includes names like Broderick Jones, Zach Frazier, Troy Fautanu and Mason McCormick? And how much room for growth does that group still have to become an elite unit? ' Our duo ponders those questions, then considers the possibility that this could be a playmakers draft for the Steelers. Would receivers like Jordyn Tyson, Denzel Boston and Makai Lemon be exactly what this offense needs, regardless of whether the QB is Aaron Rodgers or someone else? How much would such a pick free up DK Metcalf on the outside? And is there a chance McCarthy will seek a running back to complement Jaylen Warren and Kaleb Johnson? Especially if Kenneth Gainwell doesn't re-sign? Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

On the Wednesday episode of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by FanDuel and Edgar Snyder & Associates, host Adam Bittner welcomes Post-Gazette Steelers insider Christopher Carter to discuss potential winners and losers in the transition between former coach Mike Tomlin's staff to new coach Mike McCarthy's. Could Pat Freiermuth finally see an elevated role at tight end, given McCarthy's success at the position elsewhere? Will he see more targets not only relative to fellow tight ends Jonnu Smith and Darnell Washington but other receivers and backs as well? Will McCarthy find ways to use DK Metcalf more effectively? And could an interest in finding a viable No. 2 receiver like USC's Makai Lemon in the NFL draft potentially help in that pursuit? And could Jaylen Warren find better opportunities in the running game in McCarthy is able to open up the pass game more relative to former OC Arthur Smith? Our duo tackles those questions, then analyzes which names may lose prominence. Will Derrick Harmon still be seen as a key piece of the future and the heir to Cam Heyward's role along the defensive line? Or could a coaching change disrupt his development? Will Patrick Queen retain his role as the signal caller of the defense? Or could his contract price him out of that role under new DC Patrick Graham? With other linebackers like Payton Wilson and Cole Holcomb in the fold? And what is Jalen Ramsey's future in the secondary? Are the Steelers willing to pay him elite DB money for an uncertain role? Or could the new staff prefer to build around younger players like Joey Porter Jr. and invest Ramsey's big salary elsewhere? Our duo tackles those questions and more. On the Tuesday episode of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by FanDuel, host Noah Hiles welcomes Post-Gazette Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo to ponder the team's decision at QB in 2025. Did GM Omar Khan and coach Mike Tomlin make the wrong call in pursuing Aaron Rodgers over Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl winner Sam Darnold? Could Darnold have replicated his championship success with the Steelers, surrounded by big names like T.J. Watt, Cam Heyward and Jalen Ramsey? Or was Rodgers still the right choice to get the most out of an offense that included names like DK Metcalf, Kenneth Gainwell, Jaylen Warren, Roman Wilson, Darnell Washington, Pat Freiermuth and Calvin Austin III? Our duo tackles those questions, then ponders the future of Drake Maye and the Super Bowl-losing Patriots in the AFC. Will they become a dominant force in the conference again? Or were there vulnerabilities shown in the big game a sign that the conference remains wide open moving forward if new coach Mike McCarthy can shake things up as new Patriots coach Mike Vrabel did? NFL Network suggested on Super Bowl Sunday that Aaron Rodgers returning to Pittsburgh is increasing by the day. Is this what we want? How long will we have to wait around this time? In what spot would we want Rodgers back? He put up good numbers against mostly bad teams or bad defenses. He was bad in the biggest games. Can the Steelers win a Super Bowl with that? Do fans want the Steelers to run it back in 2026? Sports Court w/ our friends from Edgar Snyder & Associates. The guys wanted to get the lawyer viewpoint on the legal battle between DK Metcalf and the fan from the Lions game in December. How much money is at-risk for Metcalf in this suit? Rob and Nick told the guys that in Michigan, you can set the monetary amount when filing a lawsuit, but you can't do that in Pennsylvania. Did the fan target Metcalf, and more importantly, can that be proven? The discussion turned to future losses and what Metcalf can lose in this. Why did the fan include Ford Field in the lawsuit? Rob and Nick went through the next steps in the process. There could be 6-8 months before witnesses even get questioned.
The Seahawks traded DK Metcalf to the Steelers and Geno Smith to the Raiders after a 10-7 season along with firing their offensive coordinator after last season, which led to some thinking they were rebuilding. They were just retooling. They made shrewd moves and nailed the draft in the last 4 seasons in pursuit to a dominant Seahawks victory in Super Bowl LX. Being bold paid off – that doesn't always work, but for Seattle it did. NFL Draft analyst Ryan Wilson from CBS Sports joined the show. With the Steelers in need of another WR, Ryan told the guys it is a ‘deep' group in the 2026 class. Ryan said Carnell Tate is probably out of the question, but there is a slew of WRs behind him that will be on the Steelers board at 21st overall. Denzel Boston and Jordyn Tyson are the top two names Ryan gave the guys. Ryan pointed out some receivers that will be around on the second night of the selection process. Makai Lemon drew comparisons to Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who just won a Super Bowl and OPOY. Ryan told the guys why the Steelers should probably stay away from Ty Simpson in the 1st round. Ryan reminded us that he had Will Howard as a 2nd or 3rd round projection last year in the draft, but of course he fell to the 6th round and pick 185. He added that he would like to see what Mike McCarthy can do with Howard as his QB1. If the Steelers take a QB this year, will it be Garrett Nussmeier due to his relationship with McCarthy? Ryan thinks Nussmeier is a Day 3 pick. Donny Football Debrief – What does the salary cap space look like for the Steelers heading into the offseason?

The Olathe City Council approved a 165 acre area for a local STAR bond district to be the new corporate home and practice facility for the Kansas City Chiefs. This was a no-brainer for Olathe. Officials held a meeting in WYCO as well on Tuesday and will vote to approve their local area for STAR bonds on Thursday. They say it's small and only includes the new Chiefs area. We'll see how bit the state of Kansas bond district is somewhere down the road. It's ticking me off that KSU media and fans are just now on board with what I told them three years ago... Jerome Tang is an awful basketball coach. Nothing personal, I wouldn't be any good at it either. But with an $18 million buyout, these people are focusing on the wrong man. AD Gene Taylor is the person that should be fired and they should cut off all funding to Tang and let him lose horribly for at least another year. Oh, I've got the right plan for KSU but who knows if anyone in charge is ballsy enough to pull the trigger. And all the KSU media types that have ripped me for three years over this... I accept your apology. It wouldn't be Super Bowl week without a grandpa Mahomes alcohol arrest, a Lions fan seems to have a legitimate lawsuit against a whole bunch of people that have given him the Jussie Smollet treatment.
