Hey friends. Welcome back to Blue Eyes Crying By The chips, I'm your host, Niko Stratis. I'm a writer living in Toronto. I'm currently writing two books at once, one is called The Dad Rock That Made Me a Woman, forthcoming from the American Music Series at the University of Texas Press. The other is a novel called Girls of Summer, it's a queer love store centred around the Vans Warped Tour at the Calgary Speedway in 2001. This is my podcast about the beautiful songs that we love, and times we have cried to them in public. I use public loosely, public can mean whatever it means to the guest.
