As we conclude our study of what Jesus says about worry from the Sermon on the Mount, the question must be asked by each and every individual, “Do I really trust in the Lord and His promises to me?” How might you respond?

But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).

Comprehending the importance of the “loosing” aspect of prayer and ministry involves understanding the two dimensions of “loosing”: First, dissolving a tie that has already been established; and second, releasing any bondage of unforgiveness.
Our lesson today explains how “Binding” through prayer makes God's will effective on earth.
If you're an older individual, you may think it's too late for you to become productive again. Instead of focusing on productivity as the world defines it, consider God's description of a righteous person in Psalm 92. What spiritual fruit would you like the Lord to produce through you during your latter years? Make the rest of your life the best of your life!
What's inside you in abundance will come out of your mouth when the pressure is on.
Is your life characterized more by peace or anxiety? What situations most commonly rob you of peace? Where is your focus in those times? Is it on yourself, others, circumstances, the unknowable future, or Christ? Who is more qualified to be the one in charge—you or God?
Where do you go for help when storms come into your life? Are prayer and the Word of God your first response, or do you turn to other sources for help? What role does fear or timidity play in your response to trouble? What has been the outcome when you have responded in fear?
How do you usually make decisions? Whom do you consult for wise advice? What role does God play in your decision-making? Have you ever jumped ahead of the Lord and made a decision without Him? What was the outcome?
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear” (1 Peter 3:15). The “Good News” is for sharing. It is where our hope is found. We are light in this dark world and are called to tell others about Jesus. What touches the world and the people you know is not cleverness or intellectual brilliance; it's the simplicity of what God has done in your life.
What is the most powerful temptation you are facing today? How are you dealing with it? Which areas in your life are easy targets for the enemy? What will you do to defend yourself against his attacks in these vulnerable spots?
The Kingdom of God is already being built within the hearts of those who come to the foot of the Cross, surrender to His lordship, and serve Him as King of kings from His eternal throne.
Our Lord's greatest work was achieved in those dark hours on Calvary's Cross. The greatest victory is His resurrection which points to life everlasting.
The cross of Christ demonstrates the suffering love of God for humankind.
Christ's authority imputed to us through the blood means whatever we bind and loose on earth shall be bound and loosed in heaven and hell shall not prevail (Matthew 18:18). Everything that we do in the realm of spiritual warfare, we realize in a flow of the provision of the blood of the Cross. (Ephesians 1:1-23; 3:8-13; Matthew 20:28; Revelation 5:9; Hebrews 9:22)
Yes, there is a Heaven to gain and a Hell to shun. The choice between the two is yours alone. (Matthew 18:1-14)
Today's podcast looks at three people in whose lives we can relate to. These three lives and three miracles that take place have a common denominator in that they all happen at Jesus' feet. What God wants to do in us are the kinds of miracles we see happening here at His feet. (Luke 5:12-14; Luke 8:40-56)
There are hindrances to healing that keep us from receiving the wholeness God wants to give to us. We must keep in mind that it is always the will of God to hear us, and it is always the will of God to heal now. However, sometimes we harbor things in our heart that prevent us from being healed. Once we honestly search our hearts and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal what is hindering our restoration, we can rest in the belief that He wants us to be whole and healed in all areas of our lives. (Matthew 8)
We can successfully sever our past relationship to the bondage of sin. God calls us to learn to live through His power, just as the children of Israel learned to sever their past slave relationship to the Egyptians through God's miracles. (Isaiah 55:9; Exodus 13:17; Exodus 14:3, 7-11; 1 Corinthians 10:13; Ephesians 2; Hebrews 11:29)
When we understand how Israel reached the Promised Land, we can know how to go from bondage to freedom. Today, we can progress from sin's defeat to victorious living as we walk out our salvation. The Israelites were delivered from bondage into a life of victory as they traversed through the wilderness journey. The starting point for victory is to break the defeatist mentality. (Deuteronomy 25:4; Revelation 1:2; Exodus 2, 3, 6, 5:2; Galatians 5:1; John 5:5-7)
God has given us directions for wise decision-making and promises of His divine guidance if we'll listen to and obey Him. The Lord also provides other people who can help us when we don't know what to do. But we must be cautious because not all advice is beneficial. Our goal should always be to seek godly counsel that will aid us in discovering God's will with the Word as our foundation.
Is the mess you have made of your life keeping you from believing that the Lord can forgive and transform you if you will repent and turn to Him in faith? What's keeping you from living for God? Are you willing to submit to Christ and begin living in the fullness of His good and perfect will for you?
Where is your focus when you are afraid or have a big problem? What part does God play in your thoughts? Have you discovered that prayer makes every problem smaller? How has listening to the wrong voices caused you to doubt the Lord? Have you focused on your own limited resources when an obstacle seems insurmountable?
What situations cause your faith to waver? What role do your emotions or circumstances play in your outlook? Where is God in your thinking?
The USA has one of the highest divorce rates in the world. In fact, people work much harder in the preparations of getting married, than on staying married. God has a lot to say about weathering marital storms. We would do well to obey our all-wise Heavenly Father and fight for our marriages.
Today's podcast theme is a nuts-and-bolts explanation of what repentance is and isn't.
These prophetic signs are very real and all around us. Are you ready to stand before Him?

Does your perception of God and Jesus match biblical descriptions, or have you made a god of your imagination and liking? What will you do with the truth about Jesus? What's at stake if you reject it? What is in store if you believe it?

Someone once said, “The Church's future lies not in reforming society, but in reforming itself.” As 1 Peter 4:17 says, judgment should begin at the house of God. Only a repentant church can endure and win an unrepentant world. Satan is feverishly working today in seminaries, ministries, and churches to pull people away from trusting in the living Word of God. The reason apostasy is so dangerous is because it is an inside job.

Today's podcast lists ten Biblical reasons sex sins are worse than other sins and why they are in a category all their own.
How have you seen the culture change in your lifetime? How are you different from your society? In what ways have you conformed to the culture? What is the destiny of this world (2 Pet. 3:5-7)? How should this motivate you to live (vv.8-16)?
What obstacles cause you to waver in your trust in God? Might it be the opinions of others or are you afraid circumstances won't work out as you desire?
As you look at your life, are you walking in the favor of God? If so, what is the evidence of His favor in your life? How do you personally listen to the Lord? What hinders you from hearing His voice?
The world is filled with many opinions and misconceptions about the identity of Jesus of Nazareth. We as believers must be prepared to give an accurate answer to anyone who asks us about Jesus. And the only source for absolute truth on this matter is God's Word. We must know and understand why we believe what we believe.

Are you one type of person when life is running smoothly, but a different one when you are visited by hardship and suffering? Although trouble has the power to take away our happiness, we don't have to let it rob us of our joy in Christ.
