(00:00-28:16) – The Fan Midday Show opens on a hump day by already looking towards the 2024 NFL Draft with The Athletic's Dane Brugler having a team securing the first and second overall picks, where he has the Indianapolis Colts finishing the season along with who they would be drafting, and what it would take for Chris Ballard to lose his job. (28:16-41:41) – Last night the Golden State Warriors trolled Lebron James with an empty bottle of powder, which made Brian realize that some of the top athletes in pro sports being “me” guys. Jimmy weighs in on the thought of teams being critical of prospects that seem to be about themselves compared to being a team player. (41:41-52:45) – Hour one concludes with Brian and Jimmy revisiting the Rudy Gobert trade that changed the direction of the Minnesota Timberwolves because Brian's curious how Pacer fans would react if there was a trade that did not work out like that. Additionally, Brian admits that he's not a big believer in making win now moves. (52:45-1:17:29) – The Athletic's Dave DuFour joins Brian Noe and Jimmy Cook on the Fan Midday Show to voice his opinion on the shot by Jordan Poole last night that clanked off the rim that would have tied it, if he is surprised at all with Joel Embiid suiting up tonight for game two between the Celtics/76ers, speculates whether the Miami Heat were punting on game two last night with Jimmy Butler, and who he feels has the healthiest unit in the league. (1:17:29-1:33:53) – Brian and Jimmy shift their conversation back to the Indianapolis Colts questioning whether they will be able to start Gardner Minshew if they know that Anthony Richardson isn't ready to start week one. (1:33:53-1:44:12) – The one o'clock hour concludes with Brian and Jimmy discussing which story line between the rookie QB's would be most intriguing in their eyes. They pretend they are the NFL and attempting to schedule a Thursday night game between two AFC South teams featuring their rookie quarterback. (1:44:12-2:11:26) – The Athletic's Joe Rexrode from Nashville joins the program with Brian Noe and Jimmy Cook to share how the Tennessee Titans fans felt about the franchise selecting Will Levis over Hendon Hooker, which quarterback they were trying to trade up for in the final moments of the draft, if there will be an actual quarterback competition in training camp, and has the hate for Levis in Nashville gone so far that they would rather start Malik Willis.
