Send us your feedback — we're listeningEpisode Description: What if the loudest voice in your life isn't God's—but the crowd's? In this powerful message, Reverend Ben Cooper opens Psalm 34 to confront the tension of modern faith: anxiety, exhaustion, and spiritual hunger in a culture addicted to noise. We explore why being in church cannot replace being in Christ, why praise is a weapon in weary seasons, and how to strengthen yourself in the Lord like David—so you can pursue, overtake, and recover what's been stolen. This episode names the “lesser voices” for what they are—the serpent's whisper dressed in culture, politics, platforms, and performance. Reverend Ben Cooper speaks candidly about spiritual abuse, religious manipulation, and the urgent need for authentic shepherds who lead us back to the cross.Through honest teaching and communion, you'll learn how to audit your circle, guard your mind, and re-centre your life around prayer and Scripture. This is not entertainment; it's a call to resilient, end-times faith.“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him.” – Psalm 34 : 8If fear, shame, or people-pleasing have zipped your faith into a spiritual mortuary bag, this is your invitation to rip off the tag and rise again. Communion message on John 10:10, from February 25th, 2024
This is the communion message for this week. I use the passage Luke 15:25-32 as the text. I focus on how hard it was for the older brother to be ok for the younger son's forgiveness in the story of the prodigal son and how tough it is for us to forgive. I also reference a comic by David Hayward titled "All Sheep Matter" as well as the outcry from the "He Gets Us" commercial to reinforce what I am observing in my life as well us as a people. Thank you for listening and your continued support. I hope you all have a great week. Peace!
Hey everyone. This week's message is focused on the definition of the word "Sonder" and how this word has transformed how I see strangers in my everyday life in a very profound way.

Hey everyone! for this week's message I continued in Luke 15 using the first 2 parables: The Lost Sheep and the Lost coins. I speak of the power of the metaphors Jesus used in these parables as well as the power of the message: You are seen, you are loved, you are heard, you matter and you hold significance to a god who is not passive but will seek you out. Peace to all of you.
In this week's communion message I used the parable of the prodigal son: Luke 15:11-32, as well as the song "Please Come Home" by Dustin Kensrue. You can hear the song here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9mfyuAd-Lk0
Communion message for this week focuses again on Matthew 11:28-30.

It's one of the most heart-warming examples of “amazing grace” in the Old Testament. King David initiates a meeting with a disabled man that would forever change the man's life. As we consider this true story, how does it illustrate God's grace in your life and mine? *Communion Message
Communion Message by Robert Showalter 6-5-2022
We've been going through a sermon series discussing how our different generations can come together to be a unified body of Christ, even though we all come from different backgrounds. We've talked about the power of our communities, the power of what we are learning and the power of the mission we've been called to. This week we're joined by Pastor Alfredo Ramos as he talks about the power of the table and the communal eating experience.Thank you for watching Sandals Church!Like, subscribe, and leave us a comment.00:00 - Start07:51 - The Table is Where People Encountered Jesus12:12 - The Table is Where We Are Nourished by Our Generational Differences19:29 - The Table is Where Our Joys and Pains Meet the Life, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus25:31 - The Table is Where God Uses Physical Food to Remind Us We Need Spiritual NourishmentDo you have questions, need prayer or want to get connected?
