I'm curious to know what tantra's perspective is on psychic abilities and if there is any specific information/teachings about developing your psychic abilities or anything like that? On your podcast, you spoke once about anger as a somewhat explosive or provocative state that can be balanced with compassion. What about the more ‘feminine' type of anger? I notice that the default of many women in my life is compassion and understanding, and their anger is mobilizing but quiet. I've been feeling angry recently, but I don't think it stems from a lack of compassion and I don't feel at risk of lashing out at anyone because of it. It's more like a deep, collective feeling, but still overwhelming. How can one channel that type of anger? Seed mantras how do you choose them for students do they just come to you? How much can we play a role in the well-being of others through things like prayer? This is a pretty big concept in Islam and I wanted to hear your point of view. For example, whenever my mother prays for me, I do think I feel that prayer's power. Knowing that, it's been difficult for me to find a balance between wanting to influence my loved ones' well-being, and accepting that everyone is on their own journey. Especially with my younger siblings. Is it normal to have resistance during healing and mediation? It's not fear, but almost a nervousness and hesitation. For example, when I meditate on Goddess Kali or Krishna, I experience a strong energy. It's so powerful and incredible…and yet I hesitate to show up for it next time in meditation. How do you hold space for all your students and still manage balance? How do you manage self doubt? To connect with CB visit https://ig.me/j/AbaylOGtJF-DMRHc/. “…from the standpoint of the ego, the universe is seen as the “other.” The ego concludes that this “other” is against it and, therefore, that I must struggle to survive.”The Tao of Abundance, Laurence G. BoldtAre You Struggling in Any Part of Your Life?Is your love life, career, or your life purpose a problem or are you at ease with who you are, and making the best of your life? Many clients come to me as a coach wanting to work on a creative endeavour. More often than not, there’s something much deeper and more profound to the reason they’ve chosen to work with me. It almost always has something to do with the ego. It’s not that a client has ever come to me and said, “Hey Darren, you know I’m really challenged by my ego. It just keeps getting in the way and keeping me from getting what I want.” That would be an interesting conversation! The Ego is a Delicate Construct.Ego is “I” or “me”. We first learn about the ego as babies when we are taught to recognize our name; to recognize “who we are” at the level of owning or identifying with our name. Our naming is when we first learn about ownership and possessions. How else do we come to understand that we are a “Darren” or a “Kathy”? We learn to own our name in contrast to, or in defence of everything “other”, everything that is outside of us and not who we are.Another way of say that is, I identify as me, and what is not me is you, or something else – an other that I do not identify with or as.Defence of the ego forces us to seek some construct to which we belong that demonstrates “otherness” as all that out there, against which we must defend ourselves. We seek to belong to a group of people, a family, a religion, a political movement, or an ideology that strengthens our ego identity and the need to “possess” that belief or self-perception.What is the Opposite of the Ego?Listen to today’s episode and find out how we can accept the ego for what it is without having to defend it at the expense of creating an “other”.“I exist as I am. That is enough.” – Walt Whitman“Ego is no longer ego when you know there is ego.” – Eckhart TolleLinks Mentioned and More Thought LeadershipYour Relationship with Your Mind (the Ego) and the OtherFear of the Other in Defence of the Ego – LOP059There Is No Space Between Us In The Gap – LOP053(Written version of the above) A Conscious Meditation on the GapHow to Discover Your True Purpose in Life – LOP044Celebrate When You Feel Stuck In Life: It Only Means One ThingHow to Manifest Your Dreams When They Seem Impossible – LOP045When You Discover Your Purpose But Can’t Do Anything About ItOn a Meditative Walk in Nature This Is What I Experienced
Today’s podcast takes the form of a meditative thought experiment. An awareness came through me this morning while moving in my fitness routine. My mind was open to the subconscious drip of what I had experienced and witnessed over the weekend. I had been contemplating – without attachment – how to express the beginning of a new perspective.Exercising first thing in the morning is an opportune time for my mind to float like the the air above a body of water. Metaphorically, the air is my thinking / logical brain, and the body of water is my sub-consciousness. The space where the two meet is the gap.The gap is that place in mediation that is often called non-thinking.This is very different from “not thinking”. To best understand “non-thinking” you need to experience it from within the gap. One can’t teach it. You can talk “around it” so that when you experience it, you will know. The gap is a place where we can free ourselves of the bonds of how we perceive reality – our world – as outside or other from us. Our perceptions are the constructs of logical thinking, that come with limitations and a need for opposition, polarity, and binary explanations.Today’s episode will be, admittedly, something very different for to enjoy. I ask that you trust me to do you no harm. Simply listen, allowing the sounds of my words to enter your consciousness, not as words limited by narrow definitions, but as possibility.Enjoy this unique “Conscious Meditation on the Gap”.When we experience the space in the gap as the true nature of the universe, we will no longer see duality.Music CreditThe meditative music used in today’s episode are “Relaxing” followed by “Slow Motion” both by Bensound.com.
Use the feeling and idea energies in golden and sky blue to calm your mind and expand your consciousness.

The Fear of God In a recent Journey Into Light experience, Janet asked the Higher Selves for their help in releasing any blocks or resistance that might delay or slow down the destiny pattern. Needless to say she was shocked when " fear of god" came up. Even though in this life Janet does not consciously have this fear, her live was nonetheless being affected and triggered by the fear of god from past lives. Beliefs we've had from past lives continue to be operational at the unconscious level until we Neutralize them. In the Conscious Meditation that follows, the Higher Selves come through for the first time on this show! Visit Janet on her website at www.JanetRichmond.com or email her at Janet@JanetRichmond.com.
