David Harkins es un poeta y pintor británico, conocido principalmente por su poema “Remember Me” (en español, “Recuérdame”), también difundido bajo el título “She Is Gone” (“Ella se ha ido”). Nacimiento: 14 de noviembre de 1958 en Carlisle, Cumbria (Reino Unido). Escribió el poema en 1982, inspirado por un amor no correspondido, mientras trabajaba como ayudante en una panadería. El poema se hizo famoso cuando fue leído en el funeral de la Reina Madre (madre de la reina Isabel II) en 2002. En ese momento, fue atribuido erróneamente a "Autor Anónimo".
