Cephus Johnson, a.k.a Uncle Bobby, is a social justice activist at the forefront of ending police brutality in America. After his nephew, Oscar Grant, was murdered by a Bart police officer in 2009, Cephus founded two social justice organizations, the Oscar Grant Foundation and Love Not Blood Campaign. In today's episode I sit down with Dr. Leonard Laskow. Dr. Laskow is a Stanford-trained Life Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, former Chief of OB-GYN at the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula in Carmel, California, and has served as faculty at the University of California, San Francisco. He was a founding diplomate of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine and a former member of HeartMath Institute’s Scientific Advisory Board. He served as a US Naval Flight Surgeon in Vietnam. Dr. Laskow has done seminal research with biophysicists, neurochemists, and crystallographers on the impact of information and the coherent energy of love on cancer cells, DNA, the growth of bacteria, and water. His acclaimed book, Healing with Love has been published in nine languages. His latest book, ‘For Giving Love’ was published in 2016. He received the Worldwide Forgiveness Alliance’s Champion of Forgiveness Award in 2016. Currently, he resides in Switzerland and is a consultant in Behavioral Medicine lecturing and giving seminars internationally.
