J'Tia Taylor was labeled a 'mad scientist' on Survivor. But her real passion? Using her PhD in nuclear engineering to work on nonproliferation at Argonne National Laboratory. We talk about the intersection of pop culture and hard science. And ahead of Memorial Day, we get to know Rosie the Riveter.
We speak to Spencer Bledsoe from the 28th season of Cagayan about why being on Survivor Oz is the last stop on his Survivor journey, what J'Tia did pre-game to ensure she rubbed people the wrong way before the game even started as well as why Kass got a positive edit compared to what she was really like during filming and answering perhaps the weirdest and creepiest question we have ever received on the show
We chat to Garrett Adelstein from the 28th season of Cagayan about why he feels he is one of the worst players of all time, just how close J'Tia and Kass came to a physical altercation as well as just why playing on the brains tribe was so hard and listening to Survivor podcasts during the lock down period before the game even started

There was a definite split in the feedback this week. Some thought they should have kept J'Tia and the other group was ecstatic to see her go. Morgan's ability to think on her feet continues to impress, but many doubt that she can leverage that to get her to the end. Sarah's attempt to throw the challenge made her look much like Tony from the perspective of playing too hard before it was required. We are all hoping that the tribal shuffle gives us two balanced tribes that will have to face off and fight hard for every victory as we close in on the merge. This reset should be really interesting as we watch close to see who adapts the quickest. For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Fifteen fans shared their thoughts on episode 3 and predictions for what we'll see next. We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great Listener Feedback show. This week we interviewed J'Tia Taylor. She left the game in episode 3 of Survivor Cagayan. J'Tia represents the worst nightmare of every fan who has ever hoped and dreamed about becoming a castaway on their favorite show. To find out, in front of friends, family and millions of fellow fans, that you have absolutely no aptitude for the game would be devastating. At least her dysfunctional tribe finally put her out of her misery. Listen to this interview to hear more details on the rice sabotage event, how their food options surprisingly improved afterwards, her assessment of her tribemates and lots more! At last, the one person from the "Brains" tribe that should have been first to go, finally got the boot. The funniest part was that it was apparently a difficult decision for the remaining tribemates to make. After being sent to the very bottom of her tribe, Morgan still remains as a lethal adversary. Jeremiah is truly no match for her. The controlling alliance in the Brawn tribe fell into the classic pattern of an ultra successful tribe and decided they could manage throwing a challenge to ensure future control. Fortunately for them, the "Brains" tribe is so staggeringly incompetent at physical challenges that they were worse than Brawn even when they were trying to lose. Who would you have kept: J'Tia or Spencer? Can you think of a worse tribe than this Brains tribe? What did you think of Sarah's choice to throw the challenge? Will it come back to haunt her? Who does the tribal shuffle stand to help the most? Can Sarah escape from Tony's deception? Will Cliff or Lindsey suspect they attempted to throw the challenge? Who do you think will be next to go? Here are the tribes after episode 3. Aparri/Brawn:Cliff, Lindsey, Sarah, Tony, Trish and Woo Luzon/Brains:Kass, Spencer and Tasha Solana/Beauty:Alexis, Jefra, Jeremiah, LJ and Morgan We've got several ways you can reach us.
