There used to be a clear path to the work economy in the US: you would move from getting a degree to an entry level position to finally develop a career within a company. With the advent of the gig economy, independent workers evolved monetizing their skills. However, the fast pace of changes has created a void of tools and support so that these workers can get the most out of their time. In today's episode, we sat down with Hantz Févry, CEO and co-founder of Stoovo, and we learned what modern employees need to reach their financial objectives and how his company is helping them achieve their goals. Topics discussed in this episode: Hantz's background and why he founded Stoovo. The differences of working in a startup environment vs his beginnings at Google. The definition and challenges of the modern employee What Stoovo is solving for them. How modern employees differ from traditional employees. How Stoovo's AI helps gig workers reach their financial goals. What Hantz foresees for the future of work.

On this episode, I get to interview very good friend, Eric Hantz, while he relaxes outside and breathes in that fresh Ohio air. as well as discuss his research with heart medication. In addition to this, we get philosophical about a 5th dimension and various forms of energy theory and overarching connections, such as religion, paranormal, astrology, and more. We also discuss our thoughts on organized religion, as well as some other topics. As always these are our opinions, and we hope that they help spark a longer discussion with others if they enjoy it. Clarifications/Further Discussions - I was told after recording that this abstinence from red meat only occurs during Lent, but the point still stands - While talking about cults, I am not condoning cults in any way, at least the ones that often come to mind (Jonestown, Branch Davidians, Aum Shinrikyo, Heaven's Gate, etc.) - At one point chakras were discussed, so I want to fact check myself, both Hinduism and Buddhism discuss Chakras in there texts I used it interchangeably at one point with the term gates, and to the best of my research, I was unable to see if this was an incorrect assumption, if you know more, please let us know - (It was the red pill, not the blue pill, woops) (Also it is official, spectroscopy is unnecessarily hard to say for some reason) --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/fridayswithfrank/message

Ron Hantz, a great friend of Power Station, and our first guest returns for Episode 100. Ron is back to talk about a current threat that has been largely obscured by the presidential impeachment hearing. At another congressional hearing, Comptroller of the Currency and Trump appointee, Joseph Otting, testified before the House Financial Services Committee, feeling the heat of Congresswoman Maxine Waters, as he attempted to rationalize dismantling the Community Reinvestment Act. Ron takes us back to an era when banks refused to serve African Americans and other people of color, leaving whole communities without access to credit and capital. The practice of redlining used maps drawn to exclude whole neighborhoods from banking services. And this practice became policy, leading to the rise of predatory lenders. It took organizing and engagement at the local and national levels to move the US Congress to enact the Community Reinvestment Act in 1977. The CRA, overseen by bank regulators, the FDIC and the OCC, requires banks to meet lending and investment obligations in order to pursue mergers and acquisitions. This is a seminal moment for those committed to investment in underserved urban and rural communities. Listen, reach out and get involved.

Ron Hantz is back! Our first Power Station guest returns with updates about the Network for Developing Conscious Communities, and the role of intentionality in community development. Ron reports back on an NDCC Conference, held last May in Baltimore, that was rooted in the idea that community development requires not just bricks and mortar and access to capital. It requires intentionality by nonprofits and their leaders. Why are particular investments being made? Have community members been engaged in identifying the changes they want to see? Do their plans reflect the values and vision of the neighborhood? As community development practitioners, are we open to the thinking of others and self-aware about our own challenges? Ron talks about his travels to New Jersey, Alabama and Indiana to meet with young leaders who are poised to lead change in their communities. They are building eco-systems and scaling up. Always positive, Ron believes that we can and should elevate our work in local communities.
Ron Hantz, Founder, Network for Developing Conscious Communities (NDCC) Check out the opening episode of Power Station to hear Ron Hantz talk about a new movement for changing old paradigms for community development and as he explains it, elevating the vibrational levels in communities. Ron knows the nuts and bolts of financing and developing housing and businesses in disinvested communities. He also believes in a nonprofit's responsibility to engage the people who live in those communities in the community development process. He is building a network of African American community development organizations that values both.
