LeBron James and Khris Middleton return from injury, are their returns alone enough to turn it around for the Lakers and Bucks? Second year NBA players Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball have clearly separated themselves as the best two players from the 2020 draft so far. Both have taken another leap this year, who is better now and who will be better later? We know it's too early to decide the NBA All Stars, but we're doing it anyway. We both predicted with 90% accuracy on starters last year, who do we have making it this year? Mike pleads his case for why the Timberwolves can still squeak into its playoffs, and why the Nets are a top tier team despite Steve Nash saying otherwise.

The boys are rattled this week as they try to recover from the most disrespectful slight they've ever encountered. Something foul is afoot (pun intended) as the boys unpack their weeks, beginning with an update on Ro's moving out adventure. Next Sen and Miguel recount what can only be described as one of the all-time great mugging offs - the boys were fuming. Next we bring back the always popular “Bullslut,” with this week's edition featuring a wide range of topics such as fast food joints, muscles, NBA players, dog breeds and the Greek alphabet. Will Kush finally be good at this game? (spoilers: he's not). Finally we end with “Mind Your Manners,” where we analyse some everyday scenarios and the etiquette surrounding them. This week's scenarios include phone call etiquette, payment etiquette and free mattress etiquette. Also this week: Feet pics, sigma, Steve Nash, glutes and frozen yoghurt. Segments this week: The Logue: Tired of reaching around each other (at least on the podcast), the boys have instead decided to reach around the week's news stories, events and viral trends. Bullslut: Thought writing 3 essays in 2 hours was hard? Try naming 20 European countries in 30 seconds. This is the game where, in 30 seconds, the boys try to name as many things as they can - all within a category chosen by the host. Mind Your Manners: The boys discuss the dos and don'ts and correct etiquette to help you out of your next awkward social scenario. ___________________________________________________ FULL PODCAST EPISODES

We're back talking all things Brooklyn Nets basketball! Adam Armbrecht flies solo following the 118-95 loss on the road to the Chicago Bulls. This was a game that ultimately came down to fatigue, as the Nets played their third game in four nights and the second of a back to back. There were times this one got down right sloppy, but overall it was another litmus test for the Nets as the feel their way through early season adjustments. James Harden's road to recovery took a modest step forward as he continues to discuss the definition of a foul with NBA officials. Harden showed he is continuing to hit his stride, including on the defensive end where he was consistently disruptive in the passing lanes. Adam then reminds us how Kevin Durant continues to be automatic, getting to spots with ease, even though he did give Nets fans a collective scare - over extending his right shoulder on a loose ball. Adam also discusses the early game strategy of Steve Nash and the complete lack of resistance for the Chicago Bulls in the paint early on. Lastly, Adam highlights the big performance from LaMarcus Aldridge and the balancing act of trading off quality games between Aldridge and Blake Griffin, to veterans with plenty to offer albeit in conservative doses. My guest today is Steve Nash. Steve is the founder of Advance Memphis. Advance Memphis was founded over 20 years ago when Steve had it on his heart to help men and women find financial stability through work. There was no elaborate plan, and Steve's work started when he left his job and drove his grandmother's Toyota Camry picking up people and driving them around the City of Memphis to find work. Currently, 34 Million people are living beneath the USA poverty line.   I am blown away by Steve's persistence, honesty, hope, how he talks about his neighbors, and more.   This episode was a one of a kind where we cover: What dyslexia has taught him about having perseverance and resiliency  Since bootstrapping Advance in 1999, what are the deeper needs someone must have to get and keep a permanent job What He has learned from Youth Villages and their $3 Million dollar effort to reduce crime in a large urban area Why hard questions must be asked And more! Over the last year, I've admired the uniqueness human beings have, and the different causes people dedicate their lives to. This episode won't disappoint. To help you understand some things referenced in this interview, my guest today is out of Memphis, TN. The zip code discussed is 38126, and it is the poorest financial zip code in the State of Tennessee; in 1999, it was the 3rd poorest Urban zip code in the nation. I hope this helps as we move through this conversation.   Please enjoy this week's episode with Steve Nash!     RESOURCES https://www.advancememphis.org https://www.amazon.com/Body-Keeps-Score-Healing-Trauma/dp/0143127748‍ https://www.amazon.com/Permission-Feel-Unlocking-Emotions-Ourselves/dp/1250212847
