June 30, 2024 In this week's sermon, Jon Shepherd draws a parallel from the wisdom of God revealed in Proverbs 8 to the person of Christ revealed in the New Testament. Proverbs 8:30-31
God often uses the “weak.” Which means if God is calling you to something and you don't feel ready - you're perfect. God uses our weakness and vulnerabilities to show off his strength. We often disqualify ourselves from God using us to be his hands and feet because of our lack. Or we use it as an excuse to not be used by God out of fear. But God works through, redeem, and transform our vulnerabilities into great things. It is often these weaknesses that specially qualify us for things.
August 6, 2023 In this sermon, Jon Shepherd reminds us that we are a royal priesthood, men and women who are called to lead as we have seen modeled by King Jesus. Psalm 72:1-20
In this sermon, Jon Shepherd teaches us the importance of bringing the saving message of the gospel to our neighbors near and far.

Pathfinder Church | March 10, 2021 | Jon Shepherd & Dion GarrettPilate answered, “What I have written, I have written.” When the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took his clothes, dividing them into four shares, one for each of them, with the undergarment remaining. This garment was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom. “Let’s not tear it,” they said to one another. “Let’s decide by lot who will get it.” This happened that the scripture might be fulfilled that said, “They divided my clothes among them and cast lots for my garment." So this is what the soldiers did. - John 19:22-24

So says our guest for this episode, Camden Depot editor Jon Shepherd.Shepherd says the uncertainty begins in the front office, where Dan Duquette's days in charge are almost certainly coming to an end.
