When we're suffering, it's tempting to question God's wisdom — or tell Him how He should act. In this message from Romans 11:33–36, Dr. John Neufeld examines what it means to truly submit to God's wisdom, exploring why His ways so often confound our expectations, and why trusting Him is always the wisest response.Trusting God in Suffering: One of the obstacles to faith is the problem of pain. Why does a powerful loving God allow suffering? The Scriptures are forthright and do not ignore, diminish or bypass the problem. Nor do they resolve it. But God does tell us how we are to respond to pain. In this 10 message series, Dr. John will explore God's teaching on pain. It will not answer every question, but it will help us in the midst of our struggles.
THE WISDOM OF GOD IN CARRYING OUT HIS PLANS FOR SALVATION BY BRO. DANIEL SUNDAY
In this sermon Tony leads us to begin thinking about the conversion of Saul of Tarsus. It is arguably the most dramatic and most important conversion in the history of the church. However, the story is really about the grace, love, power, and wisdom of God.
On this episode, David Wollen reflects on the wisdom of God and why true wisdom is found not in ourselves, but in Christ.
Roger Flores takes us to Scripture to understand true wisdom and its source: God, who reveals Himself, inspired the Scriptures, and illuminates our hearts to be able to understand it. Text: 1 Corinthians 2:1-16. Visit us at www.ccc-online.org for more messages and resources.
Did you know that your unique talents are actually a divine blueprint for bringing restoration to the world around you? In this "Go" chapter of our Pillar series, Dan shares how bringing a heavenly perspective into your home or workplace reveals God's multifaceted wisdom and shifts the local culture. By looking at the craftsmanship of Bezalel and the ingenuity of Solomon, we see how the Holy Spirit empowers us to work with a level of excellence that inspires wonder in others. We are called to stop comparing ourselves and instead lead by reproducing the culture of Heaven through the specific victories God has given us.

Favoritism is an evil that runs deep. How do we face it and find a different way?
Sunday Morning Message - "The Wisdom of God"In this message from March 15, Pastor Kyle explores Paul's dramatic shift in ministry strategy—from trying to connect with people through eloquent wisdom to simply preaching "Jesus Christ and him crucified" in the power of the Holy Spirit. We learned that the cross only makes sense when you're saved, and that real ministry begins when we decide to know someone (Jesus Christ) in someone else's power (the Holy Spirit). This has profound implications for our spiritual life: we must stop relying on human wisdom or our own abilities and instead trust in the supernatural power of the gospel to transform lives.

Why does the message of Jesus feel “unreasonable” to so many people—even in highly educated, modern cultures? In today's episode of the MY Devotional Podcast, Dr. Michael Youssef unpacks a core reality from 1 Corinthians 1: the cross confronts human pride. To the natural mind, the Gospel seems impossible—God becoming man, living in humility, dying on a cross, rising again, and offering forgiveness and eternal life to all who believe. Yet when the Holy Spirit opens our ears of faith, what once sounded like nonsense becomes the clearest Truth we've ever known. Dr. Youssef also exposes the limits of today's information-saturated world: more wealth, more leisure, and more knowledge have not made us wise or moral—because human wisdom can't redeem, change, or give peace. At best, it covers symptoms. Only God's wisdom—revealed through Christ and His cross—has the power to save, transform, and one day make all things new (Revelation 21:5). If you've been tempted to trust cultural “wisdom,” discouraged by spiritual apathy, or hesitant to share the Gospel because others call it foolish, this devotional will re-center your heart on the only wisdom that lasts: Jesus Christ—God's power and God's wisdom. Scripture Focus: 1 Corinthians 1:18Go deeper: Dr. Youssef's sermon Healthy Living in a Sick World: The Folly of Human Wisdom (Watch Now | Listen Now) The voice you hear on the MY Devotional podcast is digitally generated with Dr. Youssef's permission. If today's devotional stirred a question, burden, or need for prayer, you don't have to walk through it alone.
The Bible is abundantly clear that Adam was historical—the gospel is even founded on this fact! So why do so many Christians deny his historicity?

Growing in the Wisdom of God
Preaching: Ben ConachanThe tradition of wisdom is expansive. On the one hand, conventional wisdom provides insights into living when life goes as it's expected to go. On the other hand, radical wisdom provides insights into living when life takes surprising turns. Then there's stages of wisdom—pre-rational, rational, and post-rational—which offer unique insights into our many phases of development. And of course, in our Christian tradition, there's Christ, who is called, “The wisdom of God.” This sermon series will plumb the depths of wisdom's complexity, seeking light capable of holding us, grounding us, and inspiring us, no matter the circumstance or stage we find ourselves in.Pearl Church exists to express a sacred story and to extend a common table that animate life by love. A primary expression of our sacred story is the weekly sermon. If our sermons inspire you to ponder the sacred, to consider the mystery and love of God, and to live bountifully, would you consider supporting our work? You can donate easily and securely at our website: pearlchurch.org. Thank you for partnering with us in expressing this sacred story.

Fr. Mike highlights how God fights as a heavenly ally with the people of Israel in 2 Maccabees 11, and encourages us to actively fight alongside God in our daily battles. In our reading of Wisdom, Father points out how God corrects us little by little so we can learn to trust him. Today's readings are 2 Maccabees 11, Wisdom 11-12, and Proverbs 25:8-10. The good news is that God himself has decreed a way to satisfy the demands of his justice without condemning the whole human race.
